Chime For Change: Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Ellie Goulding, Florence + The Machine + More [Performances]

WHO RUN THE WORLD? ... GIRLS!

Over in London this past weekend, millions of women from all over the world took part in one of the biggest women empowerment events ever! Gucci founded together an awareness concert 'Chime For Change' which spreads awareness of women's rights and equality.

Tons of female performers took stage to become apart of this epic grand movement and of course Beyoncé headlined the concert. Performances included Mary J. Blige, Florence + The Machine, Iggy Azalea, Ellie Goulding, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora and more.

I got the pleasure of watching the live stream before the show actually was televised last night on CBS. I think this was such a beautiful and wonderful cause of awareness GUCCI put together. Even though I am a male, I do believe in women empowerment and they too just like men deserve to be equally justified and treated as human beings. I think women are much stronger than men anyway.

Take A Look At Some Of The Performances, Including Beyoncé's set.

Spotted Ellie Goulding In New York City 9.14.12

This past Friday as I was on my way back to New Jersey from classes in New York City, I caught myself walking past UK pop singer Ellie Goulding. If you know me, then you would know I LOVE Ellie Goulding as an world renowned artist. I have always joked about running into celebrities in the Big Apple; but always doubt the chances.

New Music: Ellie Goulding Feat. Tinie Tempah "Hanging On"

Last week Ellie Goulding was nice enough to drop a new studio song she recorded with rapper Tinie Tempah titled "Hanging On" for fans on FaceBook. Along with being nice and giving us new music to bump to, she also made it downloadable for FREE. I love the mellowness in the beginning of the song and then somehow Tinie Tempah just raises the bar two notches. I'm obsessed with Ellie Goulding and her album LIGHTS btw, who wouldn't love her raspy UK voice?! Have you guys heard her album? Anyway, listen to the new song by Ellie Goulding down below and let me know what you think.

Introduced To New Music

Yesterday as I was hanging with my friend Britnie Antoinette ( I love calling her by that name) and her iPod music selection just so happened to be playing (of course, it's her car lol) which I actually enjoyed, she had a little bit of everything from Beyonce, Dev, Drake, Lil' Wayne and much more I mean Britnie can just become a house party DJ! Nonetheless I was introduced to an artist I've never heard before, after doing research I found out this young beautiful voiced girl was from the UK which is why I never heard of her.

The artists name is Ellie Goulding, maybe some of you have heard of her, but I sure didn't until I got in Britnie Antoinette's car. After playing a few songs of hers, I began to become very interested in Ellie Goulding, she can sing her ASS off and the lyrics to her songs just speaks TRUE ARTIST. When you get a chance check her out and thank you Britnie for introducing me to Ellie (Ella) Goulding lol. It's always fun browsing through your friends iPods and listening to music you've never heard before, I suggest people do it. You may never expand your music knowledge catalog if you're not aware of what's out there. PS. "Lights" is my favorite of Ellie's
