It's still hard to believe we all grew up with Rev Run's second eldest son Daniel 'Diggy' Simmons on the hit MTV show, Run's House. Who would have known Diggy would have branched off to become a rapper following the footsteps of his rapper pioneer dad Rev Run.

Diggy is back now with a new song that'll warm everyone's hearts. "Honestly" is a song in which the rapper confesses his love for his girlfriend telling her no matter what they go through good or bad, she's the girl he honestly wants and needs. It's always good to let your significant other know you honestly can't see yourself without them. I think it solidifies stability in the relationship, knowing the two of you will be together for a while or even years.

Another Hip Hop Family Is Moving Into MTV...

Since MTV pulled the plug on the lovable family reality show 'Run's House', we have all been wonder who will take Rev Run's family's place. Beings though VH1 snagged T.I. and Tiny for 'The Family Hustle' it seems MTV has finally found its replacement. 

The Atkins family, head honcho New York rapper Ja Rule and his family will be hitting out television screens are they open up to us showcasing their crazy yet funny family dynamic. Produced by Ja Rule's comrade Irv Gotti, the Atkins aren't your typical Run's House family. MTV Programming President Susanne Daniels describes the show in the following statement as:

"Ja Rule is the modern-day reality rap star version of Bill Cosby’s role from ‘The Cosby Show,’” Daniels stated. “He embraces a unique parenting style with his teenage kids that feels fresh and funny. We’re excited to be in business with him and his delightful family."

An all new season of the MTV popular reality show 'Teen Mom' is back with their third installment spin-off from the originating show '16 and Pregnant'. The four new moms have been seen on season 4 of '16 and Pregnant' which chronicled the lives of expecting moms and the drama they all faced being teenagers in school, relationships, income as well as family. 

The new season re-follows moms; Katie Yeager, Alex Sekella, Mackenzie Douthit and Briana DeJesus. The moms are coming back this season fresh and new with more crazy drama as seen in the previous seasons of 'Teen Mom'. I never really was an avid '16 and Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom' viewer except only watching Maci Bookout and  Farrah Abraham's story but we've seen where Farrah's life has gone [NSFW (Viewer Discretion Advised)].

The Simmons Children: Left To Right (Diggy, Vanessa, JoJo, Miley, Angela & Russy)

Its been a while since we've seen our favorite African-American millionaire family on our television screens. The Simmons family was on top of MTV who captivated our hearts and souls when they first premiered their show Run's House back in 2005 with a total of six seasons sadly ending in 2009. Run's House featured member Rev Run of the pioneer Hip-Hop group RUN DMC along with his family in Saddle River, New Jersey as tv cameras gave us a look into their crazy, loving, funny and shocking lives as one of the countries richest families just trying to live a normal life. 

Though throughout the course of the Run's House season a successful spinoff blossomed between two elder sisters Vanessa and Angela Simmons Daddy's Little Girls, as they moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles to birth their sneaker/shoe line PASTRY. Who all can forget the crazy antics both sisters got themselves into? We shared laughters as well as tears growing up with the worlds most loved family as we related to them in almost every episode whether you were wealthy or not. 

I'm a bit quite sad the family isn't on our television screens anymore; but for those who have been wondering what's been up with the Simmons family, we can now thank Instagram for the updates. A lot has changed since we last saw the family in 2009. From browsing through Angela Simmons Instagram photos, i'll keep you up and my look BIG and BEAUTIFUL the kids have gotten!!!

MTV Real World Casting - New York 10.29.11

This coming Saturday, a friend invited me to come along with her to the MTV The Real World casting. Now, I don't know exactly where at in New York City the casting is held, but I just hope I want to see who else was going to attend this casting. Here is a little 30. sec clip from Beyonce's new music video off of her multi-platinum selling album 4 for "Countdown". The video is so vibracious and shows Beyonce in such a happy time of her life. The video is colorful and Beyonce is working the hell out of her baby bump and short bowl cut in the video. Looking at the preview, I didn't expect the video to look the way I imagined it. I thought the video would turn out how she filmed her TARGET commercial with the song in the background playing. Either way "Countdown" is one of my favorites on the album and I'm so happy she made a video for it. You know what, I hope she made a video for all the songs on the album :-). Congratulations To Beyonce + Jay-Z

Beyonce stunned the world last Sunday at the 2011 MTV VMA'S by announcing her pregnancy with husband rapper & mogul Jay-Z. Along with the thriller news, Beyonce threw on hell of a VMA performance of her song "Love On Top" which appears on her 4th platinum selling album 4. The performance was nothing anyone would have imagined. At the end of her performance, Beyonce dropped her mic unbuttoning her vest piece as she proudly showed the world her belly bump.
