Earlier today Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey have released a teaser video for an upcoming two night spectacular May 28th and 29th titled 'Madea Meets Sofia'. For as long as I can remember Madea (played by the ICONIC Tyler Perry) has been mimicking 'The Color Purple' most memorable character Sophia (Oprah Winfrey), quoting some of Sophia famous lines from the 1985 film. 

 In the promotional video Madea drives down a dusty road where she see's Sophia walking up the road to a house, where Madea stops Sophia and asks where can she find OWN (Oprah Winfrey's cable network channel). Sophia then precedes to quote her famous lines but changing them up a bit poking fun at the fluctuating ratings OWN has been known for...

I don't want to give you too much, you'll just have to watch the hilarious video that will have you in tears.

This past Saturday was one you would not have wanted to miss. It was BEYONCE SATURDAY as she sat down with Oprah for her Next Chapter interviews and then the following documentary Beyonce directed and produced herself. 

Beyonce gave great talk to Oprah as she discussed having to manage herself after parting ways with her father Matthew Knowles who has been her manager since she was able to sing and dance, her relationship with husband Jay-Z, their precious daughter Blue Ivy and most revealing her miscarriage. Fix My Life w/ Iyanla Vanzant: Evelyn Lozada

Last night on Oprah Winfey's cable network OWN, successful prolific Author and Life Coach Iyanla Vanzant sat down with one of reality tv's most talked about celebrities Evelyn Lozada whom recently has been in news due to her domestic violence situation with newlywed husband former football player Chad Ochocinco. 

Aside from having a domestic dispute with Chad, Evelyn has appeared on three seasons of VH1's hit reality series Basketball Wives which showcases the lives, luxury and problems basketball wives/girlfriends face while being sworn in the lifestyle. Evelyn Lozada's character on the show is known for being the bully; throwing glasses of alcohol/water into people's faces, calling women the B-word and most embarrassing running over tables fighting another cast mate. Since then the girl from the Bronx, New York is simply crying out for guidance and help. 

Iyanla was on the journey in helping Evelyn recover from her internal fears and stray away anger she has built inside of her. Iyanla will also get down to what really happened just weeks after Evelyn's marriage to Chad where he allegedly head butted her facing Evelyn's decision to file for divorce after 41 days of the two's nuptials.

Tasty Tuesday: Christina's No-Fuss Cheeseburgers

Who loves burgers as much as I? Uhm...I don't think anyone does lol =) Even though its a new year, most of our resolutions are DIETING! Well here's a tip, EAT WHAT YOU WANT IN SMALL PORTIONS AND WORK OUT MORE! Seriously, after the holidays here comes game day whether its football or basketball in result there will be a lot of fast food made. Which brings me to today's Tasty Tuesday "Christina's No-Fuss Cheeseburgers". Sounds so yummy right? Christina is a Oprah.com chef who posts tons and tons of delicious recipes. As you know, I love snooping around different websites searching for the best foods! OWN!

It is 2011 and Oprah Winfrey has already taken over the year. Is anyone as proud and shocked that Oprah Winfrey has her own cable network? Like I am beyond amazed right now. This is something big to me =) I'm so proud of Oprah and all her endeavorers that she has really became an inspiration to my life and role model. It takes a lot to have your own network. WOW! Oprah has really set the bar high for people trying to get like her. Ever since Oprah premiered her cable network January 1st, I honestly can't turn. Oprah has so many shows she's produced and coming out with for her network that I will be tuned in everyday every hour even if it's repeats. I'm very proud of Oprah, someone with that drive deserves all the success that may come her way. Oprah Winfrey is a working machine, this is how I want to be in life. Oprah really practices the saying "You Only Live Once, You Want To Go Out With A Bang!". Congrats Ms. Winfrey!!! Keep On Amazing Me With Your Unexpected Endeavors. =)
