L&L: Lavan Lamar Clothing Apparel

It's Great To See People Are Choosing To Become More Artistic Than Being A Local Rapper...

Since last year I've been paying a close eye on two gentleman who were in the process of creating and starting their own clothing line. The clothing line titled 'L&L' (Lavan Lamar) features high-end street-wear that anyone male or female can rock. The two gentleman hail from Westfield, New Jersey and when I say their designs are DOPE & SICK, I mean it! The clothing specializes in shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies for a reasonable affordable price.

L&L has already been getting rave reviews to where as they have been featured on blogs and can be seen worn by celebrities, most famously the pop superstar JoJo. I don't think it will be long until L&L will appear on fashion runways or on more famous celebrities. To make things even better, I will have the chance to interview the two on the clothing line so, stay tuned next week for that.

I love that the L&L line is so simple yet stands out. The letters L with the & symbol just makes it high-end. They've also dapped in mixing their shirts with tie-dye designs. This is definitely something I can see myself in, because I'm a sucker for simple, comfortable yet making a STATEMENT. I mean my name's LaTroy so why not rock L&L gear. By looking at the pics of models wearing the designs, I can honestly assure you, there is no wrong way to wear L&L. You'll see as well after the jump!

Meanwhile check out some of their pieces for L&L and if you are in LOVE like I am, then you can go on ahead and purchase your Lavan Lamar shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies at their online store.  Be sure to also look out for the exclusive Spring 2013 Collection coming soon.

so over the MARVIN'S ROOM remixes!

OKAY! enough is enough already. Aren't you sick and tired of the "Marvin's Room Remixes" that's been buzzing the internet and radio scenes? I know I am. I just have to say this, there can only be two versions of the song originally recorded by DRAKE. The two versions are a guy's point of view and a girl's response. There are six official celebrity remakes that are out i'm aware of; Drake, JoJo, Teyana Taylor, Romeo, Sammie and Chris Brown. I've heard only the first four and then yesterday I heard Chris Brown's remix. I must say it's all beginning to sound repetitive of what Drake and JoJo are saying. There is nothing different or special about remixing a remix. Like I said, there can only be two versions and that's a guy's point of view and a girl's response.

Therefore, we have out two versions Drake and JoJo. Not bashing the rest of the artists who hopped on the song, I just feel enough is enough, the song basically talks about one thing and from it you can't branch onto different topics. This song is just going to stay the same lol. I wonder if everyone else is on the same page with me. I'm not going to give my opinion on each song, but I will say out of all the mixes, the only one I prefer to listen to is Drake and JoJo's but I'll listen to JoJo's version first if anything. If you didn't hear all of the versions to "Marvin's Room" continue after the jump and you can listen to them there. Let me know how you feel?

Throwback Friday: JoJo "Leave, Get Out"

Everyone must adore the R&B Pop singer JoJo. Remember when she was young at the age of 13 and came out with her first hit "Leave, Get Out"? Ever since that very first single JoJo's career has skyrocketed. JoJo has appeared in a lot of commericals, movies, albums, and even came out with a mixtape. This singer can singer her butt off, this is why today's Throwback Friday is dedicated to JoJo and her first single "Leave, Get Out". You couldn't get me off the song for nothing lol! JoJo's so pretty and adorable. Look after the jump to see the hit that gave JoJo her stardom. :)

JoJo "Can't Take That Away From Me" Mixtape

I've been waiting to hear something from JoJo since her last album. Thank God, the R&B Pop songtress has released a mixtape lining up to the release of her third album[coming soon]. You all remember JoJo? She was the one who had us bumping to her first #1 single "Leave (Get Out)" and "Baby It's You Feat. Bow Wow". Joanna Levesque' aka JoJo, took to the studio and recorded some good ol' tunes for us (the fans) to listen to while she grinds hard on her thrid album. JoJo took time to chat with RAP UP Magazine to say this about her mixtape; "This mixtape is more experimental, I was able to explore the full spectrum of things that interest me and inspire me musically. Whereas the album, I wanted to make pop records and radio hits and things that satisfy me, but particularly for [All I Want Is Everything], it’s more of a continuous body of work." She added that the mixtape is more different than her upcoming album All I Want Is Everything. The first single "In The Dark" is different than anything people have heard from her. She said about "In The Dark": It’s a very sensual record and there’s an undertone of sadness to it.

We're glad to hear JoJo is back in the studio and she's ready to give us tons & tons of great music. JoJo never disappointed me with her music. The mixtape actually released the 7th of September, and I just downloaded it myself. Listening to 30 secs of each song, you can hear vocally how much JoJo has grown so much in her music, lyrics and style. From what I hear, JoJo took full control of the album and you can hear in the music itself she took on different elements and became luccid to what she wanted this mixtape to become of. Welcome back JoJo, I can't wait to hear the album coming soon. This is mixtape is going to be on heavy rotation on my IPOD for a couple of months =). To download the Mixtape read after the jump.
