Essence Festival 2013: The Stars Come Out To Celebrate !

The stars came out this weekend as they celebrated the annual Essence Festival 2013. Essence has been the staple magazine representing people of color. For as long as I can remember, there has not been one African-American home who didn't have a bundle of Essence Magazines in their home, preferably their bathroom or living room table.

This year the star line of performances sky rocketed as entertainers such as Beyoncè, Maxwell, New Edition, Keyshia Cole, Brandy, Solange, Emeli Sande, Charlie Wilson, Trey Songz, Bridget Kelly, LL Cool J, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, Anthony David, Blackstreet, Water Seed, Stooges Brass Band, Faith Evans, Mint Condition and much more as they took the stage.

The weekend brought out many of your favorite athletes, singers, actors/actresses, models and TV personalities to celebrate the Essence brand worldwide. Everything from good music, food and talk all served as entertaining ingredients to complete the annual festival as always.

Keyshia Cole Receives #BeyHive Backlash...

So if you weren't on Twitter or the blogosphere yesterday, then you had miss the total backlash Keyshia Cole received from the #BeyHive (Beyoncé fans). Keyshia Cole has been in the media waves as becoming a bit vocal about certain artists such as her too vocally rude opinion on former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams last month during and right after she performed alongside Kelly and Beyoncé for the Super Bowl Halftime Performance. Fans have already been coming for Keyshia's throat and they came HARD!!! 

This time around Keyshia is back again getting attacked all over the world when she had something to say about Beyoncé's newest track "Bow Down/ I Been On":

What I do know is, I don't think Keyshia has learned her lesson the first time around when she got on Michelle William's case. I'm such a dork for this post, but I have to say celebrities on Twitter have been the best way to stay connected with them. I have replied to many of my favorite celebrities and some of them have replied back also giving me a follow. I'm so shocked because usually I wouldn't expect for a celebrity to follow me back. In my opionion I think they both wore the dress brilliantly!!! I mean look at these two young ladies. They Brought the dress to success!!!! the shoes,hair,and accessories. Kim gave a lil shirt to cover up the girls, and Keyshia just let all out* Haha I Love Looking at celebrities wear the same outfit, it cute,flirty,fun.

KEYSHIA COLE OR KIM KARDASHIAN?

Wow, all i have to say is Grammy 09, was brilliant. It brought out the best in the Industry from , Whitney Houston,Al Green, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Duffy, U2, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood,Jennifer Hudson, Keyshia Cole, M.I.A. and many more. My best outstanding moment was when Jennifer Hudson Won The Best R&B Album of the Year. Out of everything she's been through the past 4months, she still had the courage, to go up on stage in front of thousands of people, accept her award, also she performed, so I think thats' a stong woman.

Them "Swagga Boyz" killed the show, also giving a big ups to 9month Pregnant M.I.A, who was due at any time. Lil Wayne lookd so good last night, also Kanye, T.I ,and Jay Z. It was a very proud and outstanding moment when Lil Wayne, won the best Rap Album of the Year. If you didnt watch it or TiVo it, then you missed the best show on Sunday Television haha. I enjoyed all the performances, Katy Perry tickled my fancy..haha, she performed her Hit single "I Kissed A Girl", it was amazing, to have a stage full of fruity fruits. I enjoyed Kanye West, and Estelle performing "American Boy" I love that song.
