COMING SOON: THE REAL LATAVIA (A MINI WEB SERIES)
As if R&B Divas: Atlanta wasn't a great enough platform to showcase who she is.
Original Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson, earlier this year appeared on TVOne's 'R&B DIVAS: Atlanta' and gave us NOTHING. We hardly got to know who LaTavia really is besides being a new single mother and friend to the ladies of the cast. Latvia barely sang on any of the episodes unless the ladies forced her to, which she was hesitant then.
LaTavia, last week dropped a trailer to what seems to be a "reality show" web series on YouTube about who she is, what she does, learning all the rumors up and her reasoning as to why she doesn't sing when asked or invited to. I don't have a problem with LaTavia and this web series, but you were given a major platform to showcase all of that and you didn't execute. Now you want another chance to prove who you are?
Hmm, I don't know about this one. I know I'll be watching just to see what LaTavia will give. I've been rooting for her ever since her departure from Destiny's Child. The woman can sing, I just don't know why she shuns herself from the world so tightly. The trailer is a bit funny to watch though.

#ThrowbackThursday - Ameriie At The 'Destiny Fulfilled & Lovin It Tour'
![]() |
| Ameriie Circa 2005 |
WOW, I can't believe Ameriie was the first celebrity i've got to see up close and personal and even took a picture. The Destiny's Child 'Destiny Fulfilled & Lovin' It Tour'[Madison Square Garden/NYC] was my first concert ever and to see such great opening acts such as Tyra B., Ameriie and Mario was an unforgettable moment I will cherish forever.
This was when Ameriie was promoting her sophomore LP 'Touch' and I was surprised when I saw she was opening, I had gotten the album and knew the words to every song she performed. I love the artist Ameriie has become since that day and yet she still remains underrated. Ameriie will be back on top again ... sooner than you think!
Haha, I remember my best friend LaTisha and I sneaking from our terrible seats to creep and take a picture of Ameriie. Though she tried hard to disguise herself, we spotted Ameriie's petite frame amongst hundreds of Destiny's Child fans. This was a perfect picture, just wish I would have gotten to touch and hug Ameriie in a picture.
Maybe One Day, Maybe One Day...

Michelle Williams Gives A NASTY SANG-SATIONAL Sermon At The 2013 Essence Festival
| Photo Courtesy of Essence |
1/3 of Destiny's Child Gospel extraordinare Michelle Williams served as a special guest speaker at this weekend's past Essence Festival 2013 down in New Orleans. Michelle was one of the many guest speakers during Essence's Gospel Tribute at the Convention Center, honoring many big talented Gospel artists such as Donnie McClurkin and Tramaine Hawkins.
During Michelle's honoring the soulful beauty decided to sing a preaching sermon to the audience, which made body hairs rise and made you feel like a whole new Christian again. This is a side of Michelle, I've never seen, though I do heavenly enjoy listening to her gospel albums, but this is the outgoing, freely Michelle Williams I LOVE!
Take A Look At Some Of The Sermon Captured By Essence Below:
Very proud of Michelle Williams as her face is being seen everywhere since the release of her newly Gospel/Soul single "If We Had Your Eyes", which is available on iTunes now!
Listen to the track below; Her stylist also gets an A++, Michelle's continuously Red Carpet, Out & About On The Scene outfits are seriously breathtaking ! Michelle could somehow take the entertainment fashion world by storm!

Keyshia Cole Receives #BeyHive Backlash...
*Prays* Please GOD Don't Let The #BeyHive Start Throwing Beyoncé CDs At Keyshia Cole...
So if you weren't on Twitter or the blogosphere yesterday, then you had miss the total backlash Keyshia Cole received from the #BeyHive (Beyoncé fans). Keyshia Cole has been in the media waves as becoming a bit vocal about certain artists such as her too vocally rude opinion on former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams last month during and right after she performed alongside Kelly and Beyoncé for the Super Bowl Halftime Performance. Fans have already been coming for Keyshia's throat and they came HARD!!!
This time around Keyshia is back again getting attacked all over the world when she had something to say about Beyoncé's newest track "Bow Down/ I Been On":
Along with that tweet came the following:
Keyshia has got to be mad at somebody though?! Maybe it's her struggling career, look I don't know. What I do know is, I don't think Keyshia has learned her lesson the first time around when she got on Michelle William's case. But as always Keyshia Cole is a firecracker and will not shut down for ANYBODY! After a few Meme attacks from fans, I highly suggest Keyshia Cole STOP NOW! the #BeyHive fans are crucial and territorial when it comes to their #KINGBEY. The fans sent Keyshia Cole the following messages:

Beyonce Is GONE WITH THE WIND FABULOUS Hunny!
Okay so if you watched a few weeks ago episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, then you know where i'm getting at with this. 1993 Ms.USA Kenya Moore def is showing her ASS this season from stating how FABULOUS she is and how people mistake her for BEYONCE (0_o) RIGHT!
But who would have known that our KING BEY would even take notice in such reality TV shows? Clearly she's watching while we all are watching at the same time. After Beyonce's SuperBowl Halftime Show, she and fellow members of Destiny's Child Kelly and Michelle, were spotted leaving the stadium being quickly being asked by an interviewer how they felt after their performance and well, Beyonce had the following to say...
DID YOU GET YOUR LIFE TOO?!
HELLO!

Beyonce's Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Performance [Video]
![]() |
| Beyonce Halftime Performance Promo Courtesy Beyonce |
In case you missed last night's jaw dropping Ravens vs. 49ners Super Bowl XLVII game, you might have to catch that on DVD; BUT here's one play performance you can catch here!
Beyonce performed during Halftime and left fans even the haters wanting more. The ICON dubbed female Michael Jackson took center stage as she gave a performance of a lifetime (one that will go down in the history of Halftime Performances). Tweets skyrocketed to about 268 million as Beyonce took the stage to leave people wondering if they were at a Beyonce Concert or the Super Bowl.
Of course, Beyonce couldn't perform by herself, she invited fellow Destiny's Child members Kelly and Michelle on stage as they performed their hits like "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women". The greatest surprise of all was having all three members perform one of Beyonce's dance anthems "Single Ladies", the girls looked so gorgeous on stage and took the choreography to the ultimate extreme intricacy.
If You Don't BEY-LIEVE ME, Then You Can UH' Read Jay-Z's Tweet:

The Skorpion Show: Destiny's Child Nuclear & Beyonce Talk, Gaga Vs The Osbournes, Lala & Carmelo Anthony & More
![]() |
| YouTube's The Skorpion Show |
Congrats, To Kevin & Makael For Their Remarkable Over 100K Views!!!
Here's the latest video of The Skorpion Show, this video was posted Saturday morning (Jan.12th) and if you haven't watched it over the weekend well here's your chance to catch up. This video is one of my favorites because the two talk about Beyonce and Destiny's Child (my favorite artist and music group). The both of them went IN when they talked about Beyonce's upcoming HBO Documentary Special as well as Destiny's Child new single "Nuclear" and the rumors of them performing it at this years Superbowl Halftime Show.
They didn't go IN AND LET HAVE in a negative way, but as always truthfully and speaking on behalf of the fans. Other topics the two touch on is the hand written statement feud between Sharon and Kelly Osbourne against Lady Gaga and some interesting SEX TALK (whispering, we got to ease drop on). You can catch all that talk and much more on this week's new and latest episode of The Skorpion Show.
Don't forget to SHARE and LIKE their video as well as SUBSCRIBING to their YouTube channel. This show is worth to watch if you're interested in getting in tuned with what's going on in pop culture and the world but don't have time to buy a newspaper!

The world's best selling female group Destiny's Child is back after an eight year hiatus and they're releasing another album too. Though, it's not an album where they recorded new material, their new album is actually a compilation of their most favorable love songs on their new record titled Destiny's Child Love Songs.
Just when you were about to get a heart attack and pee your pants, you can continue to do so in a minute once I tell you the trio added an unreleased never before heard song titled "Nuclear" produced by Pharrell Williams.

OH NO SHE DIDN'T! Beyonce Rocks Blonde Box Braids
In accompany of her husband Jay-Z, Beyonce attended rapper NAS "Life Is Good" dinner showing up as the flashback 1999 Destiny's Child braid hairstyle; only actually Beyonce was giving us long blonde box braids. Beyonce at the dinner kindly didn't want to be the center of attention (which was hard to tell) and opted not to have any photos taken of her or with anyone; that it was NAS's celebration and night (THIS IS WHY WE LOVE BEYONCE; SO HUMBLE!!!) Clearly, a party goer couldn't help but continue to be all on Bey's shhhmeat when they snapped some photos and it hit the next yesterday.
Check out another shot of the blonde box braided diva below:

Is Being A Solo Artist Right For Every Person In A Music Group?
I was thinking most of the music groups in the entertainment industry sometimes breakup or disband because members want to go solo. Then it came to my mind asking myself is it possible a member of a group can go solo? There are a lot of music group acts that I actually loved as a group, but when they disbanded it was like uhm....did they have to go solo? The only groups I know that successfully had members go solo and I approved of was Destiny's Child and N'Sync (naming acts that I grew up with).
Other than that, I feel like if you're in a group it's for a special reason. You and those other people's voice blend together so well to create one sound. Wouldn't you think that one sound is equal to a solo career? I'm not saying every music group shouldn't have members that embark on a solo career. I would like to see our music groups stay as music groups for about four albums or more.
What Do You Think?

Throwback Friday - Destiny's Child "No, No, No"
Let's go back to 1997 when the best selling girl group of all time conquered the world. Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett and Beyonce Knowles were Destiny's Child. Their first single entitled "No, No, No" came out that year which set off their career in so many ways. Though people may be familiar with the upbeat version of the song produced by Wyclef Jean of the Fugees, but before the fast paced video the girls actually did a slow version music video. I actually love the slow version than the fast :-). Let's take a look back on how Destiny's Child grabbed our attention. Today's Throwback Friday video is Destiny's Child with "No, No, No".

What Are Your 10 Commandments In A Relationship?
Many, many years ago in the year 1999, Destiny's Child released their sophomore album entitled "Writings On The Wall", an album with their commandments (do's and dont's) in relationships. Each song on the album was either a do or a don't. They gave us 14 commandments and it was either you agreed or disagreed. The album was pretty much an anthem for the ladies. If you brought the album and didn't hear the commandments and went straight towards your favorite tunes, here's what you missed:
- Commandment #1: Thou Shall Not Hate.
- Commandment #2: Thou Shall Pay Bills.
- Commandment #3: Thou Shall Confess.
- Commandment #4: Thou Shall Not Bug.
- Commandment #5: Thou Shall Not Give Into Temptation.

Throwback Friday: Destiny's Child - 8 Days of Christmas
Today's Throwback Friday is going to be a bit festive, beings that it's the Christmas Holiday. I decided to choose Destiny's Child's "8 Days of Christmas". I remember when the song came out in 2001, I was ecstatic and couldn't stop jamming from the moment I heard it. I recently brought the album on iTunes, and I still haven't heard the whole album lol. I'm going to get to it thought i've heard some of the popular singles they released off the album. Destiny's Child Christmas album entitled "8 Days of Christmas" is a soft RnB Holiday album, very upbeat songs and soulful voices. I love Destiny's Child, one of my favorite girl groups of all time. I wish they would get back together and make another album. Well, read after the jump to view "8 Days of Christmas" music video. Enjoy! :)
