Album Stream: K. Michelle 'Rebellious Soul'

K. Michelle has given VH1 the permission and gift of streaming her debut album 'Rebellious Soul' a week before it hits stores on August 13th. We've been blessed for years now with K. Michelle singles and mix tapes, now comes the time where we actually hear a full production album which K. Michelle is singing about relationships. If you've never tuned into VH1's 'Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta' then you'd want to know K. Michelle has been very open and vocal about her tumultious love life as well as being in an abusive relationship in her past.

The album, 'Rebellious Soul' features eleven songs with one feature from Meek Mill and the rest is simply K. Michelle blessing us with her beautiful vocals and daring stories. After straight listening to the album for 44 mins, I am highly pleased and I anticipate the await of her album to be released so the whole world can hear this beautiful body of work the young reality starlet has shed sweat and tears for.

Favorite Songs On The Album Are "Damn", "I Don't Like Me", "Can't Raise A Man", "V.S.O.P.", "It's Too Late", "Hate On Her", "When I Get A Man" and the emotional song written for her son "A Mother's Prayer". 

The Album's Lead Single Is "V.S.O.P." with buzz that "I Don't Like Me" is her second single, but I really feel believe K. Michelle should release "Can't Raise A Man" as the second single. Overall, the album sounds great & I wish K. Michelle the best of luck when releasing the album.

Here it is, the leading single for Disney's upcoming movie 'Oz The Great And Powerful' in theaters March 8th. Mariah Carey was chosen to lead the soundtrack with the most beautiful song which she written herself. The song titled "Almost Home" reminds me of a modern and updated "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" but of course it would because the movie is based around 'The Wizard of Oz'. 

Mariah Carey sounds very stellar and spectacular on this track nothing we've ever heard from Mariah. Such an uplifting track and why not choose Mariah Carey to raise our hopes and dreams to the extreme. At first when the snippet was circling the internet, I didn't care for it, but it was until the full release of the song where I knew I had fallen in love.

ADD Blogged Out: Thirst Traps Of The Week Amazon Edition

My friend Dan Andre and his two friends created a blog entitled ADD BLOGGED OUT where they post everything from new music, comedic videos, basically anything that has the hottest buzz on the net the three of them have their hands on it. there 's one particular posts that I found quite entertaining and amusing and it is the "Thirst Trap". 

Basically to my understanding "Thirst Trap" is when a drop dead gorgeous female posts pictures of her face or body to social networking sites and it makes the guys go crazy bisurk into drool mode. Well as funny as it may seem which it is by the way, "Thirst" means "Desperate" sorta kind of. You just have to head over to ADD BLOGGED OUT and look at the post for yourself to see what I mean. I find it so funny but yet entertaining.

New Music: Trina Braxton "Party Or Go Home"

Over the past weekend, hit reality star and former background singer Trina Braxton released her debut pop single entitled "Party Or Go Home". If you haven't been following Trina and her sisters WEtv reality show Braxton Family Values, then you should know the young sister of legendary multi-Grammy award winning entertainer Toni Braxton has been trying to come out on her own as a solo artist and out the shadows of being Toni's background singer. "Party Or Go Home" was performed by Trina Braxton and her band on the last episode of season 2 which premiered last Thursday night. This single can either make or break Trina Braxton's solo career.

"Party Or Go Home" is a fun pop dance track in which Trina sings about having a damn good time stress and drama free and she states to the person who stays up against the wall all night to go home if he/she wasn't going to have a fun time. This is def a track to listen to on your way to the club or a party. Trina Braxton will release an EP via iTunes sometime this year. Straying away from the RnB style of music like her other sisters Toni and Tamar Braxton, I think the pop route may be suitable for Trina Braxton. The new gadget of modern technology is in for 2012. I recently seen this Retro Telephone Head Set on some of my favorite reality shows but I most remember seeing it on Braxton Family Values (Towanda and Trina were both seen using the head set). If you don't know what the Retro Telephone Head Set is then I don't know what to tell you pal! 

Throwback Friday: Zhane "Hey Mr. D.J."

One of my favorite RnB groups of the 90s were the two female duo Zhane (pronounced Jah-Nay). These two sisters had the 90s in the palm of their hand. I remember my mother purchasing their self titled album "Zhane" and she would play it all the time. Ever song on the album was just an instant hit. I miss the RnB 90 years. Music was so real back then and so live. Zhane however made you feel like you could jam anywhere listening to their album. My favorite song of theirs happens to be one of their smash hit singles "Hey Mr. D.J". I think it was the first song I've ever heard from them lol. I don't know what's up with the duo group now, but they need to make a comeback to the music scene asap! Luckily, there is a music video for the song. So today's Throwback Friday video is from Zhane with "Hey Mr. D.J."  If you don't have the album I suggest you download it on iTunes or purchase it on Amazon.

We've been waiting years for Kelly Rowland to put out another album and she has finally done it. This album ranges from every genre of music for everyone to enjoy. "Here I Am" features singles such as the number one platinum hit "Motivation feat. Whoa Lover! I'm so excited about Kelly Rowland's third studio album that's coming our way July 26th. Her recent single for the album "Motivation feat. Lil' Wayne" has been on top of the charts for months. Kelly Rowland's music and voice is always gifting. I love everything from her dance songs to slow jams. I sure will be getting the album and you should too. I mean, I'm a heavy Destiny's Child fan and I will continue to support each girl on their individual solo projects. I'm pretty sure you can preview the album on some websites such as Amazon and F.Y.E, but I've found a video on YouTube that has a preview of the album. This album is so worth the cost and wait. I'm never disappointed in Beyonce. I would like all of you to get the album digitally on iTunes, Amazon or you can buy the hard copy anywhere records are sold; but preferably TARGET. Go the extra mile and pick up the deluxe. I also recorded my journey on getting the album even did some promoting lol. I was amazed at how TARGET was nice enough to set up Beyonce's new release display. If you are a big Lady Gaga fan, I suggest you go large and get the deluxe, if you are a person who can't  seem to handle more than 10 sounds then I suggest you get the original album. Britney Spears "Femme Fatale"

Today marks the release of Britney Spears 7th studio album entitled "Femme Fatale". I've been waiting since she dropped her last album "Circus" to release another album. If you haven't known, Britney Spears is my top favorite singer/entertainer of all time. As a big fan, I have purchased all of her albums on the day they came out. What saddens me about being a fan is I have never been to one of her concerts or seen her live =(. With this album "Femme Fatale", I hope to go to this tour. 

"Femme Fatale" I believe is one of Britney's best work ever in music making. I heard the album preview over at AOL First Listening Party and shall I say this album is all Pop Club Bangers!!! Britney Spears in her career is having fun with her music and doing her 100% to give us(the fans) something new and exciting every year. I don't know how she does it, but her music goes up a notch every time she releases an album. If you love to dance, cruise and relax to good music, then "Femme Fatale" is the album for you. Thank you Dr.Luke, Max Martin,Will.I.AM and others for producing such a fantastic album. 

I got my copy of "Femme Fatale" and woke up extra bright and early to purchase it. You can see the pictures after the jump.
