In the midst of all the Hip-Hop hoopla buzz surrounding a bonus track Big Sean dropped yesterday which featured an ill verse from hip hop newbie Kendrick Lamar in which he named dropped some of the top rappers in the Hip-Hop industry. The now talked about track "Control" featured Kendrick Lamar challenging those rappers who he named in taking their status and making them irrelevant in the industry as well as dubbing himself the new KING OF NEW YORK. Meanwhile, while all of Hip-Hop is going in the studio laying their responses to Kendrick Lamar, another entertainment money maker, but known for making his money being a comedian and actor decided to take heed and join the battle. YES! Kevin Hart has decided to respond to the Kendrick Lamar verse and as serious as Kevin might think he is, we can't help but laugh!

Love & Hip-Hop [LITERALLY]

Betcha' didn't know these were the hottest young couples to reign the music industry. Well if you haven't heard or became envious, the cutest young women have been taken off the market and into the arms of the swagged out sexiest rappers in this industry today. 

I'm talking about Big Sean now dating Glee starlet Naya Rivera (who plays Santana) and rapper A$AP Rocky dating world renown supermodel Chanel Iman. If this was the time to become envious then the time is now! How lucky are the two couples? I mean what female wouldn't want to be around the arms of A$AP Rocky and Big Sean?! What guy wouldn't want the beauties Naya Rivera and Chanel Iman as their girlfriend?! I know one thing, the SEX MUST BE GOOD!!! 

What's so funny about the couples is that I wouldn't expect either one of them to have chosen their beaus as their partners. It's not even an awkward relationship neither. I really hope both couples do well in their relationships and may they become the new power it couples.

BET Awards 2012 Highlights

I may be late with the BET Awards 2012 Highlights but better late than never.  Let me just start off by saying this was the best BET Awards ever in a long time! I haven't screamed and shouted at an award show since I don't know when. BET didn't upset me Sunday night. Here are my favorite highlights from the show: 

First and foremost can we discuss how RICH the front row was? The camera man was giving tv moments to The Throne who include Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beyonce and new to the crew Kim Kardashian. I was ecstatic to see the four of them along with Solange Knowles and her boyfriend video director Alan Ferguson (who won a BET Award with Beyonce for "Party" in the Director of the Year category). I love this pair of power couple and finally blogs and haters can drop the rumors of Beyonce hating Kim Kardashian; the two are very good acquainted friends. 

Of course I loved the opening performance by G.O.O.D artists Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean along with 2 Chainz as they performed the smash radio hit "MERCY". Kanye West towards the end of the performance did an impromptu freestyle. 

 It was a BIG night for THE THRONE as they won an award for Best Duo/Group! I enjoyed Jay-Z making fun of Kanye West by interrupting Kanye as he was citing his thank you speech like Kanye did at 2010's MTV VMA's when he interrupted Taylor Swift. 

Seeing some of the Destiny's Child members in the theater was a BIG highlight. LeToya Luckett and Michelle Williams were each others dates as they hit the red carpet and also sat next to each other. Michelle's dress did it for the occasion, as though LeToya was giving me a wrapped yellow mummy tease. 

Breakout star of the Braxton Family Values, Tamar Braxton who co-hosted the Pre-Show looked very fab in her dress. Her makeup and hair was ON POINT! Tamar is definitely stepping into her own lately, WATCH OUT! ... Now Where's That Long Awaited Album?!! 

 Newly RnB group TTG (Tank, Tyrese and Ginuwine) graced the red-carpet having women throwing their panties towards their tv screens. The three men were Eye Candy throughout the night. 

 Tamia who will always remain beautiful won fans best dressed on the red carpet. Check out her new single "Beautiful Surprise" on iTunes now! 

TV Personality/Host/Actress LaLa Anthony looked phenomenal in her comfortable summer time jumpsuit looking like a Hispanic Princess Jasmine. Go Head LaLa! 

Gawwwwwhhhh if only Boris Kodjoe was single and attracted to me! Boris Kodjoe was another spotted Eye Candy throughout the night. 

Nicki Minaj who performed "Champion" and "Beez In The Trap" of her sophomore album Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded; finally acted sane on stage along with rapper 2 Chainz. My mother was obsessed with her eyes all night!!! Nicki Minaj your eyes were popping and I loved your performance! Is that all of your cakes though?! 

Melanie Fiona reminded us how GOOD RnB music is as she beautifully belted out her hit single "Wrong Side Of A Love Song". The song is off her highly anticipated amazing sophomore album The MF Life out in stores! AMAZING ARTIST! I think Adele and Melanie Fiona should go on tour together! 

Keri Washington who looked shockingly drop dead gorgeous to me for the first time stunned my whole body in her ensemble. Her makeup and hair was simply flawless; gosh that small frame gets all the roles!!! 

BET Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Frankie Beverly and Maze reminded us why old skool music will NEVER go out of style. 

 The Whitney Houston Tribute performed by Monica, Brandy, Chaka Khan and Cissy Houston made the whole world shed more than just a few tears. 

New Video: Chris Brown Feat. Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa 'Till I Die"

Finally a video for the promoted pictures of Chris Brown, Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa that have been going around for the past few weeks is finally out. The trio teamed up together, hopped on a track entitled "Till I Die" and shot a video which features cameo appearances by some of your favorite weed smokers. I don't know if the song is a leading single off of Chris Brown's follow up to his Grammy award winning album F.A.M.E which is titled to be Fortune. 

"Til I Die" is a different track for Chris since he's been releasing pop/dance tracks on iTunes lately. The song is something you can def can listen to while chilling with friends at a kick back. The video is pretty interesting and dope! Although when the video starts I thought it was an ad commercial, so like a dummy I fast forwarded the video and actually found myself in the middle of the video. Only problem I have with Chris Brown is his 'nose ring' ... not for him!!!

Yesterday, Kelly Rowland dropped the video to her second single "Lay It On Me" feat. Big Sean off her latest album Here I Am. Can we say let's look at the eye candy in the video?! OMG! Kelly knows how to choose guys for her videos. Big Sean was also looking like the cat's meow in the video. The video is very sexy and seductive, I didn't expect anything big from the video, but this is just right. Kelly really looks beautiful on camera and this video definitely shows it. G.O.O.D rapper Big Sean has released a video for his 3rd single "Marvin & Chardonnay" off his debut album Finally Famous. The song also features Kanye West and Roscoe Dash to add an element of dope dynamics on the dope futuristic beat. The incredible Hype Williams directed the video, which his work is always a BLOCKBUSTER. The fashion in this video is so sick! I really love the red and blue blazer Big Sean rocks. Big Sean always looks like a fashion GOD when he swags it out in a blazer. This song is absolutely my favorite right now not to mention the heavy rotation the song has been over the radio waves.

I'm also a Big Sean fan to the fullest. His young rap flow is creatively his own and he raps about whatever is literally in his mind. I like how his music just doesn't focus on the typical rap song of coming out of the hood from drugs and violence and doing something positive. Big Sean isn't afraid to touch on topics about a females assets, love, money status, and etc. Big Sean is a rapper I can see in this music industry for a long time. Can we say 10 albums? I just came across this dope video Chris Brown and his celebrity friends Tyga, Swizz Beats, and Big Sean whipped up on their personal style and what style means to them. Fashion has been in the game longer than you and I have ever been born, even before our great grandparents. Though our Fashion trends tend to evolve as the years pass on by, but what i'm seeing is the younger generation repeating the same stuff as before; just adding a hint of their own kick to it. Chris Brown's style always changes and I never would categorize Chris in one of those worst dressed scenarios. I know I haven't done a Fashion Post in a minute so I thought this might be something fun and entertaining visually learning about how our favorite celebrities get fresh to death!
