Well it's Monday and the magazine hasn't updated their Instagram yet, so hopefully later we'll see what this new hoopla is all about.

L&L : The Interview

The Long Awaited Interview Is Finally Here !!! 

Remember back in March when a created a post about the rise of an up and coming fashion designer Lavan Lamar who creates "L&L"; an affordable urban-upscaled clothing line that provides the most dopest Tees, Sweatshirts and Hoodies. I reached out to the head designer who is Lavan out of L&L (Lavan Lamar) and asked if it was alright if I could interview him. He responded to me humbly and it was a GO! Sadly due to our crazy schedules and chaotic timing we both couldn't be able to meet each other and film it, but I did send in some questions you readers might want to know as well as myself and he answered each and every one.

Well for them it is because they have the coins, but I've never seen maternal fashion so HAUTE in my life!!! And to add these starlets are wearing 6 inch heels. 

I guess after Beyoncé's fashionable pregnancy the maternal fashion has evolved and got totally TURNED UP!!! Whoever is dressing these moms to be, I'm loving it. I can't believe how effortless they make their ensembles look, I mean it's tough when pregnant because you have to adjust to weight gain and what fits comfortably on your body.

Since being out of the reality tv scene fashion entrepreunuer and daughter of the great Rev Run, Angela Simmons has been cooking up a lot of projects and she is now sharing her tastes with the world. Late last month Angela debuted her all new website which she has been working hard on for months to make it an interactive feel fans can get to know Angela on a personal level inside and out. 

Angela I Am, is Angela's personal site which brings us into her mind and thoughts on the latest Fashion, Music, Fitness, Beauty and even including a Diary entry (for registered users to read) which Angela shares personal notes and feelings on whatever it is she's going through at the moment. It's nice to see celebrities create websites that makes their audience feel relatable to them.

Old Fad: UGG CLASSICS

This may be a bit too late for this topic better late than never. I remember when UGGs used to be the popular boot ever that was comfortable and stylish to throw on with anything. I own two pairs of the male classic UGGs and I used to be infatuated with them. At one point you couldn't get me to stop wearing them. Though the winter season is over, I still wear them around [the house and when I walk my dog]. 

As fashion is changing every corner, i'm not seeing many people wear UGGs as much. It's funny because it was the women who wore them religiously, now I see them dressed in flat shoe boots or a bootie shoe of that nature also a lot of Ralph Lauren Polo Boots have taken over. I know I ditched the UGG Classic boot for my new love Dr. Martens. I wonder how long the UGG Classic Boot will be worn around for, it's comfortable and all but people's style is changing to something much edgier.

Fashion Catastrophe: Men's Sweater w/ Shawl Collar

Now I love men's sweaters, hoodies and cardigans, but the pieces with the shawl collar is a Fashion NO NO. I'm no Rachel Zoe or Christian Dior but I know what looks good and what doesn't appeal to me. I feel like collars belong on shirts not sweaters, unless you're doing the sweater/collard shirt ensemble then that's an exception. I really don't like the thick look to the neck and shoulders, especially on guys who are really broad and muscular even the lean and athletic guys. It just doesn't fit in, it looks like an old grandpa's top just sitting in the rocking chair. If you want to keep your neck and shoulders extra warm, why not wear a scarf? Isn't that what it's for besides making a fashion statement? I'm not too fond of the sweater shawl collar combination...ehhh what do you think?

BIG on PULLOVERS!!!

This fall, I'm very infatuated with pullover sweaters. I love how casual and chill they look on a person. You can basically dress it with anything. They look cute with a cute skinny jean and a nice pair of kicks. So far I own around 4 to 5 pullovers. I don't know why they are called pullovers, but I'm used to calling them sweaters ;-). The ones with graphic features to them pop out more. I hate plain ALOT!!! Give me something that makes a statement. It can just be a big square on the front and i'll be happy. Pullover's are comfortable and inexpensive. I usually purchase mine from Forever21 Men or hand me downs, yeah the old 90s pullover sweaters are the BEST!!! This is my fall favorite article of clothing. What's yours right now?

Fashion: House of Dereon International Collection, London

Fashion entreprenuer duo Tina and Beyonce Knowles officially launched their clothing line House of Dereon in London at Selfridges this past Saturday 9/17/11. The extravagant international collection was performed via runway to showcase the autum-winter and holiday collections. This stunning collection was only for the US, but beings how amazing and beautiful the designs were, the mother daughter duo decided to take the collection overseas for all to wear.
