Has The Word BRAVE Been Taken Way Out Of Character?

If you haven't already heard, African-American/Mexican actress Stacey Dash (most notable for her role in the fashion 90s movie "Clueless") came out last week stating she was now endorsing Senator Mitt Romeny in the 2012 presidency campaign election. This major news caused an uproar in the African-American and minority communities.

Stacey Dash received negative backlash through her Twitter page (@REALStaceyDash), blog sites and wherever citizens who felt the need to comment on Dash's decision. On October 10th, Stacey Dash sat wit Piers Morgan to discuss the harmful tweets and social media threats she's received since her coming out of supporting Senator Mitt Romney and his campaign. Stacey Dash simply states "We're All Entitled To Our  Opinions" in hopes to backup her decision. Dash is 100% Right and those who gave her one hell of a backlash were WRONG!

During the interview, Piers Morgan asks Stacey Dash, if either Senator Romney has reached out to her after she made her statement and Dash basically resonded saying "No she hasn't heard from Romney, but Vice President in running Paul Ryan had reached out and said it was a BRAVE thing she has chosen to do". Hmm...BRAVE. Take a look at a short 3 minute excerpt  below:

Does Julia Roberts Ever Age?

It seems as though Golden Globe and Academy Award winning actress Julia Roberts never ages. I was browsing through YouTube when I came across an old 1989 Late Night with Dave interview of a young Julia Roberts at the age of 22 years old.

New Music: Ester Dean "Baby Makin Love"

Profound singer/songwriter/actress extraordinaire Ester Dean over the weekend just released a track of hers which she wrote entitled "Baby Makin Love". The song gives you a 90s feel with her raspy graspy vocals over it. If you're not familiar with Ester Dean then you'd know these following artists whom she has written for such as Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Soulja Boy Tell' Em, Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland and R. Kelly just to name a few.

The biggest songs out of these artists I just named I can bet your bottom dollar that song was written by Ester Dean. Adding to her many accomplishments, over the weekend Ester Dean was just awarded Songwriter of the Year at the BMI Awards. This young lady from Oklahoma has a lot up her sleeve and for the industry. Aaliyah Dana Haughton: The 10 Yr. Anniversary

Today marks the 10 yr. anniversary death of R&B sensation Aaliyah Dana Haughton. It was 10 years ago this day God called his precious angel upon to Heaven. Aaliyah died in a terrible plane crash on her way home (the states) from a wonderful trip in the Bahamas. Although Aaliyah lived a short life, she left behind a legacy that will never be imitated or replaced. Aaliyah was a huge selling sensation through music and movies throughout the early 90s until the early millennium years. Aaliyah's music can be heard throughout the world and her music videos are still played world wide. I will always love the person she was and how good her songs was. That voice of hers was simply angelic. Tonight on BET there will be a 10 yr. anniversary tribute to the late great Aaliyah at 8pm. Aaliyah is truly #OneInAMillion

Throwback Friday - Tatyana Ali "Daydreamin'"

Who remembers when "Ashely Banks" (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)  b.k.a Tatyana Ali started her singing career with her first hit single "Daydreamin'" in 1999? That song had to be my favorite during the 90's R&B era. I remember even before I knew she could sing, I watched an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and sat in awe saying how much of an amazing and talented actress she was. Once, I saw her perform on one of the episodes, I thought wow  she is truly an entertainer. Tatyana Ali does it all from dancing, acting to singing; she is a triple threat! Tatyana Ali, continues to act and she even has her own sitcom on TVOne entitled Love That Girl. If you didn't know, Tatyana Ali is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Political Science and Afro-American studies. I really wish she'd come back out with another album, her voice is so pure and beautiful to listen to. Today's Throwback Friday goes out to Tatyana Ali with "Daydreamin'". Enjoy!

R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor

Today is such a sad and upsetting day for everyone across the world even in Tinsel Town aka Hollywood. The world has lost another world renaud Hollywood ICON, Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor passed away early this morning due to congestive heart failure, the leading up to hear death was also caused by other health problems which she fought till this day. I may not know a lot about Elizabeth Taylor, but from what I do know is that she was truly one in a million. Her spirit, heart and soul was always 100% lovable. Elizabeth Taylor, was a muse to a lot of people. Her fashion style was incredibly gifted; whereas only GOD can grant one person in each decade with the gift of style.
