COMING SOON: THE REAL LATAVIA (A MINI WEB SERIES)

As if R&B Divas: Atlanta wasn't a great enough platform to showcase who she is. 

Original Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson, earlier this year appeared on TVOne's 'R&B DIVAS: Atlanta' and gave us NOTHING. We hardly got to know who LaTavia really is besides being a new single mother and friend to the ladies of the cast. Latvia barely sang on any of the episodes unless the ladies forced her to, which she was hesitant then. 

LaTavia, last week dropped a trailer to what seems to be a "reality show" web series on YouTube about who she is, what she does, learning all the rumors up and her reasoning as to why she doesn't sing when asked or invited to. I don't have a problem with LaTavia and this web series, but you were given a major platform to showcase all of that and you didn't execute. Now you want another chance to prove who you are?

Hmm, I don't know about this one. I know I'll be watching just to see what LaTavia will give. I've been rooting for her ever since her departure from Destiny's Child. The woman can sing, I just don't know why she shuns herself from the world so tightly. The trailer is a bit funny to watch though.

THIS GIRL SANGS HER FACE OFF!!!!

TVONE's R&B Divas starlet KeKe Wyatt released an EP titled 'Ke'Ke'',last month debuting a new sound than her normal safe R&B sound. This new sound is a R&B/Pop crossover. If you followed KeKe Wyatt since the early 2000's, then you know this woman with an incredible voice for the GODS and BEYOND! If you're not familiar with KeKe Wyatt, then I suggest you open a YouTube tab and get your life!!! 

Anywho, one song that made it's way to the forefront of the EP as it's leading single is "Lie Under You". The song is a romantic love song, where KeKe serenades to her loved one on how much she loves him. The song doesn't have a video to it, but I'm pretty sure there will be one soon. He's Making A Comeback !!! 

Remember when in 2011 when I introduced you all to Long Island, New York native rapper Christopher Brutus who goes by the name LongIslandFlash? If you don't remember or never heard of him then I suggest you click here.

The rapper has jumped out the rapping scene to handle business which took a bit longer than expected. Making a big move from New York down to West Palm Beach, Florida can be a bit stressful as well as tedious. Back when Flash was on his grind, every Wednesday he would post a new freestyle/song he had written himself, whether it be rapping on an artist's track or an original song of his own. 

LongIslandFlash IS BACK! This coming Wednesday, the dope young rising rapper is releasing his new single "Wussup Wussup" as a part of his incomparable #FlashWednesday movement. Flash has assured me he has a new sound that will blow everyone away and this time he is here to stay!

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour - My Experience [Video]

Hey Everyone!

Extremely sorry about the delay of uploading the video I promised of my experience at Beyoncé's 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour. Editing took forever and I didn't know the finalizing and uploading portions would nearly take almost half the day. It was a pretty gruesome process for my eyes and brain. I tried to be as creative as can be. I got the job done and it is now available to view. 

A little about the video before you watch it. I wanted to edit and create this video as entertaining as possible. The clips I actually recorded weren't very entertaining enough, so I thought I'd borrow video clips from YouTube and a YouTube user by the name of 'JBoogie157'. I created a YouTube DVD experience with chapters included. 

Editing Process

I wanted to showcase Beyoncé's momentum up until she started her tour. Before touring, there were a few promotions Beyoncé engaged in from the top of year (2013) until now (the tour). If you all don't remember Beyoncé performed at Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show and I started with that performance followed by the tour's first AD commercial leading up to the promotions of PEPSI and H&M. To really get your momentum going, I added the official 'The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour' trailer which begins my experience at the concert. 

I had such a great time editing this video as well as attending the concert. I plan on going back a second time to the tour this December 19th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. I hope you all enjoy this video and if you haven't purchased your ticket to see Beyoncé, I'd advise you to do so immediately.

Lady GaGa 'Abramovic Method' [Video] #NSFW

Abramovic Method - a series of exercises designed to heighten participants’ awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment.

Well, Lady GaGa is just being GaGa I guess...MaMa Monster went viral yesterday as an explicit video of the popstar was pulled from YouTube. The video showed GaGa in a series of exercises to help launch performance artist Marina Abramovic's Art Project. In the past years, Lady GaGa has stated how much of a fan and how inspired she was by Abramovic's works. 

In the video GaGa is completely naked were we can visibly see her breasts in certain shots that may be uncanny to an audience. This isn't noting compared to the many shocking stunts Lady GaGa has pulled throughout her sky high successful career. I would call all of this fiasco a publicity stunt since returning to the scene announcing the arrival of her third album 'ARTPOP'. The was to be released earlier this year, but was postponed due to a severe hip injury sustained last year that left her in a wheel chair for  quite some time.

College Humor - The GPS Prank [Video]

I Wouldn't Put It Past A GPS...

As technology rapidly progresses, I wouldn't be shocked if GPS's started giving unsolicited advice and comments. I came across a video on YouTube by College Humor who filmed a short hilarious video titled 'The GPS Prank', which basically fools Taxi patrons into thinking the GPS is talking to them, watching their every move even down to what they are wearing. 

If you're not familiar with College Humor, then you should know the brand is a group of people mostly a college student body staff who create awareness and comical sketches as well as music videos for our entertaining eyes. College Humor has over 4 million subscribers and many of their videos have all passed the 1 million mark. Goes to show how interesting and creative their videos are.

Forget Miami, Vegas and LA ... I Want To Go To LONDON!!!

About a week ago our favorite vlogger of the YouTube show 'The Skorpion Show' took a trip outside of the US and flew to London, United Kingdom. As promised, Kevin filmed his whole trip as well as shared photos of his London experience his second time around. 

Kevin was brave enough to take the trip by himself, but once he got there he had met up with friends/fans of 'The Skorpion Show' who made his trip worth the wild. As I was watching part one of the video, I couldn't help but every second aww in astonishment how beautiful and gracious London had to offer; especially the hospitality of Kevin's new England friends. 

I'm not going to tell you all the fun things that happened so far on Kevin's trip, you'll have to watch for yourself. If you have ever traveled out of the country and filmed your experience and would like to share it, please email me and i'll post it.

If you're an avid Beyoncè fanatic as I am, then you frequently visit her website Beyoncè almost everyday. As I was on her website this past weekend, in her News feed I peeped a recognition post she created showcasing the talents of young YouTuber by the name of Cameron J (RandomStructureTV). 

Beyoncè, shoutted out the young man as he creatively created a mashup of almost all of Beyoncè's singles. What makes it more amazing is that he sang them acapella. YouTube has so many amazing artists and this guy should be signed ASAP! The way he created the video as well as produced his vocals is just amazing!

Pierce; The two DIVAS have teamed up to create the best funniest YouTube WebSeries on this planet. 

The scripted series 'Jenifer Lewis and Shangela' tells the story about thee ICONIC Legendary actress Jenifer Lewis taking in Shangela, becoming his mentor as he tries to pitch his own reality tv series as well as Jenifer trying to remain relevant in the spotlight, but througout the episodes she seems to be overshadowed by Shangela's new found fame since appearing on RuPaul's Drag Race. 

So far there are only four episodes and Jenifer isn't continuing the series until she hits 1 MILLION VIEWS!!! I mean if the fans are dedicated enough they will get the series to 1 MILLION VIEWS! I hope 'Jenifer and Shangela' reach 1 MILLION VIEWS, I deeply love the show because it's just so RAW, UNCUT and HYSTERICAL! Everything in the show is OFF LIMITS! Thankfully there are two versions of each episode titled 'Rated R' and 'Censored'.

Reagan Gomez Presents: Almost Home, Ep. 1 'Finding Home'

I Told You I Was Addicted To YouTube WebSeries...

Here's a new scripted WebSeries that you'll also enjoy. Where can I start? Hmm...Well, do you remember the hit 90s African-American Family Comedy 'The Parent 'Hood' featuring Robert Townsend, Faizon Love, Suzanne Douglas and Reagan Gomez who played the beautiful Zaria Peterson? If you do then you'd want to know Zaria (Reagan Gomez) has grown up as a married woman with two loving children. 

In this Youtube WebSeries created by Reagan herself titled 'Almost Home', Reagan creates a story based on two brother/sister siblings Lisa and DeJuan as they move to California to start their new lives after the death of their mother. There for a fresh start Lisa (Gomez)and her younger brother DeJuan befriend a local Cali girl Becca (Denyce Lawton) who then seeks to help Lisa find a job.

The first few episodes of 'Almost Home' is entirely funded by Reagan herself but she needs the help from US to help finish funding her project so that she can hopefully create and write more episodes to come. This isn't an easy job, especially with Reagan being a mother and wife, she fully can't use all her coins for this project! The series is well worth it and if her goal of $25,000 is reached we will get more episodes which will see familiar faces of whom will make on screen cameos such as; Wesley Jonathan, Jackie Long, Denyce Lawton and of course Reagan herself.

Everyday Lies: Ep. 2 - 6

Remember back in early February when I introduced you all to a new half improv/scripted webisode series by Steve Royall titled 'Everyday Lies'? Well, I didn't even know there has been SIX episodes so far. I really have been straying away from the internet since this school semester got so heavy. 

Here to catch you up I'm posting episodes 2-6 so that we all can get a good laugh during our lunch breaks or leisure time. Must I remind you, this show is hysterically funny. YouTube is the place to go when you have a creative idea for a show or short film. YouTube is like the new COMCAST for people. I find myself watching YouTube videos much more than I watch my own television.

Every year there seems to be a new dance craze everyone's either into or doing. However, a music producer from Brooklyn, New York by the name of Baauer (23yrs old) uploaded a track he produced by the name of "Harlem Shake" last May and somehow some lucky person took the song and made a video to it. The person danced crazy as if he was just moving every ligament in his body and all of a sudden it went viral and now millions all over the world are uploading themselves doing their version of the "Harlem Shake". 

It's a pretty funny video, I thought it was going to be pointless, but I can't wait to do it with friends. Take a look at the crazed dance video everyone's doing below:

I mean how cute is this dance?! I feel like my BFF Britany and myself have been dancing like this to music since before this viral internet craze. Haha!
