Jordin Sparks Pens A Loving Tumblr Post About Her Dad & Loved Ones

Leave it to Jordin Sparks to give us something thoughtful and spiritual all in a Tumblr post. The American Idol winner and actress took the time out to post a loving letter about her father and taking the time out of her busy schedule to call up a few loved ones for memories. In the letter, Jordin describes how thankful she is to speak to her father on more than one occasion where he humbles her as well as learns more about the man who has known her all her life.

Jordin reminds us no matter how busy we are for anyone the importance of picking up that phone call, text, video chat or etc. will create memories that will live on forever. Live in the moment. Jordin Sparks titles the post 'When The Memories Flood In'. Jordin writes:

Putting up a facade when deep inside you're broken into pieces in front of the world is the hardest thing to live through. Going through a breakup with someone you genuinely had/have feelings for is the hardest thing in life we all wish we can erase. Why do people choose to break someone's heart? Why are there evil people in the world who don't care about other's feelings whatsoever? The only answer to all of this is to "SIMPLY" move on, right? 

The first few days after a breakup are the hardest. No, I take that back, the first hours after a breakup is like sitting under a hot scorching sun; equivalent to HELL. A lot of things are running through your mind; Will we ever get back together? Can we remain friends? What if he/she moves on to someone better? or even the biggest question of them all, Is he/she going to have SEX right away? 

The Beginning of a New Era

BACK BUT NOT HALFWAY...

There comes a time in a person's life where they must contemplate their thoughts and let it out in written format. However, I have a lot of thoughts, questions as well as answers I need to express to you all. I've decided to give a certain self evaluation needed space on my blog for myself as an outlet to express some of the things on my mind: what's bothering me, ideas, advice and stories. 

Some of you only are familiar with me through my blog (Entertainment) and some of you know me personally. You might have questions as to where have I been?, what have I been up to? and most importantly why haven't I been blogging lately?. The question that I frequently get asked is do I still blog?. The answer to that is, YES! I still blog (THANK YOU ALL WHO SHOW SUPPORT). I had to take a step back to focus on my senior year of college (Which I completed this past May). As to why didn't I come back? I won't give you an answer just yet. 

Which is why I decided to start a journal/blog portion on my website. I'm stuck between calling my site a blog or not. I purchased a domain, it is a place where I post entertainment stories, I generally feel like I am entitled to call it my website. This here journal portion will be a reflection of who I really am as a person. Not a lot of people really know me as a human being, they just know me based on how I portray myself on the outside. TRUST ME there is a fine thick layer between who I really am and what you really see. 

Each week I'll write a journal entry and by doing so it will unfold to the person I really am. I am caring, silly, serious, emotional, loving, a friend, a lover, an aspiring singer/actor, blogger, writer, reader, as well as a huge supporter. Most importantly, I LOVE MYSELF.

Like Carrie Bradshaw, my big sis @BethBomb(Bethany) has been through many challenging situations in her life in which she decided to share her experiences with everyone in hopes to learn from mistakes we tend to make in life.

Oh Hello, New Year's Eve 2012

The year 2012 has come to an end, well in just 6 more hours. I have to say the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays have come and gone by so quickly, I can't even remember how much fun I had. In all, 2012 has been a special and will be one of my most rememberable years to date. I have accomplished a lot of challenging new things this year and I couldn't have been more proud of myself than ever. 

I hope everyone plays safe and celebrate this New Years Eve with family or close friends, hugging one another with the most unconditional love you've ever given. For those going out and partying, please remember to think and act responsibly and most importantly always carry your cell phone chargers with you at all times!!!! (that's just one thing I can't live without doing)

I can't wait to see what the year 2013 has in stored for me, I hope it's more challenging tasks than this old year of 2012. Maybe I will finally get my own reality show, record deal or start appearing on TV shows. Let's pray to GOD this will happen!!!

As the last 60 seconds tick until the New Year 2013, I will be shouting and cheering for joy welcoming 2013 with you all. The [Not So] Girly Girl...Tomboys are GIRLS Too!

My BFF Britany's Blog!

Hey my fellow followers reading this right now! I have a blog I would like for you all to check out. My BFF Britany has decided to create a blog for those girls who are Tomboys but want to start dipping and dabbing into the Girly Girl World; hence her blog name The [Not So] Girly Girl. 

Britany throughout our high school years has always been a jeans, t-shirt and retro Jordan kind of girl with either a cute ponytail or bun when she's not lazy. Britany also participated in cheerleading but she refused to dress girly girl; except in the cute uniforms; other than that she refused to dress the part. 

As Britany realized in her undergrad years, being a cheerleader in college meant having to play the part. Britany gave in and decided to experiment in makeup (lip stick, eye shadow, mascara and the other cool works). Britany grew slowly to love the effects of being a girly girl. 

Now at the young womanly age of 23, Britany was focused this past summer on trying different makeup products, haircare and even changing her wardrobe. The drastic change I saw Britany perform was maintaining her nails and feet every week. Britany is really serious about becoming a girly girl! 

Enough blabber about how awesome my BFF is! In Britany's blog she will guide girls who were just like her in the tomboy phase in recommending fantastic makeup products, different hairstyles and even most importantly skin care. 

Doesn't matter if you're a female or male; you can learn a little  or a lot of what Britany has to offer on her blog posts; which she updates daily. I'd like you all to check it out and tell her what you think or how much so you can relate to her.

Now a days we have so many fans that FAN/STAN out on social networks, camp outside arena's for concert tickets or show appearances and even also getting a face portrait tattoo of their favorite artists. Fans will do the extreme just to be face to face with their favorite entertainer. I ask this question because back before illegal downloading became popular before the millennium, there were Fan Clubs.

ADD Blogged Out: Thirst Traps Of The Week Amazon Edition

My friend Dan Andre and his two friends created a blog entitled ADD BLOGGED OUT where they post everything from new music, comedic videos, basically anything that has the hottest buzz on the net the three of them have their hands on it. there 's one particular posts that I found quite entertaining and amusing and it is the "Thirst Trap". 

Basically to my understanding "Thirst Trap" is when a drop dead gorgeous female posts pictures of her face or body to social networking sites and it makes the guys go crazy bisurk into drool mode. Well as funny as it may seem which it is by the way, "Thirst" means "Desperate" sorta kind of. You just have to head over to ADD BLOGGED OUT and look at the post for yourself to see what I mean. I find it so funny but yet entertaining.

Where does Dan and his friends get these ideas from lol?

Visit My BFF Britany's Tumblr Blog

I'm not so hip on the whole Tumblr craze, which I've had for a minute now but my best friend decided to jump on the craze and create a Tumblr blog page. It was very shocking, because my best friend Britany isn't much of a writer or doesn't have the patience for a blog at all. To her interest, she noticed having a Tumblr blog page doesn't mean you have to always write you can keep it as visual photos and keep it moving. Brilliantly Britany decided to create a Tumblr page and each month include a theme for it.

This December's theme is a series of black and white photos of pictures surround love, relationships, funny cartoons, song lyrics, inspirational quotes, and more. I mean the title of her blog is Live Fast. Die [Pretty], you can only imagine the random interesting stuff she posts. I'm just a tad bit jealous she knows mostly the creative ropes and tricks to Tumblr more than I do and I had my Tumblr page longer than her!!! A new favorite blog/website of mine is celebrity Tori Spelling. I don't know how I came across it, but her website has everything from home and live, food, style, love, and etc. I mean her blog is the go to blog to get a lot of insight on certain things in life. I just recently came across one of her posts under the Entertain section. Tori Spelling, suggested when having a party or get together, it is best to entertain them not only by conversation but by decoration. Berry Ice Cubes, is what she suggested you have one should have so guests could be amazed by how creative you threw your party. I thought this recipe was very cute so I thought I'd steal it for Tasty Tuesday; I Love You Tori! So without further adu, here is today's Tasty Tuesday treat with Tori Spelling's Berry Ice Cubes.

My friend Whitley started a blog where it's just all about the fashion and art of makeup. Of course, you can pick up some tips and the best products to you use. What I love about Whitley's blog is the name she used and how it ties in with the whole makeup aspect GlossPills. Makeup is a GLOSS appearance and we use PILLS to make us feel better. The two go hand in hand with each other because throughout the world in our everyday lives there are thousands or millions of people who apply makeup on their face as if they  need it everyday like an addicting pill.
