Tasty Tuesday: Avocado Deviled Eggs

Borrowed from Tori Spelling's blog which she borrowed from Eating Well Living Thin, I chose this temptingly somewhat delicious kind of deviled eggs. I say somewhat only because this deviled egg dish includes avocado and I am not a big fan of ANYTHING avocado. However, I am in love with deviled eggs so why not try something new and go a bit spicy. That's what hits my taste buds when I taste avocado; a bitter spiced taste. It looks very good though, I'm not going to deny that but one of these summer days i'll grab my BFF Britany and we can make some for a taste tester. Here's today Tasty Tuesday Avocado Deviled Eggs, check the recipe below.

Ingredients
  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 medium avocado, diced small
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  1. Cut boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out yolks.
  2. Mash yolks with a fork. Stir in diced avocados, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt to taste.
  3. Fill egg whites with yolk mixture and place on a serving plate. Sprinkle with cayenne or fresh, chopped parsley.
Tori’s Tip: Make this close to serving as avocado could brown!

Tasty Tuesday: Overnight Blueberry French Toast

For those who didn't know I am a sweets foody (a person obsessed with food). I could practically eat anything sweet in the morning. I know it's bad, but there's this infatuation I have with sugar. Please don't let me be the only one, can I get an AMEN?!

I was scrimmaging around online looking for something tasty to post when I came across actress and party planner extraordinaire Tori Spelling's cute little mother's day treat. The dish Overnight Blueberry French Toast looks absolutely delish!!! I'm no fan of french toast, but the way Tori did the works on it sure made me want to try it. I don't know about you, but by looking at the picture I'm drooling for it now. Of course I had to share this with you all!

Tasty Tuesday - Berry Ice Cubes

A new favorite blog/website of mine is celebrity Tori Spelling. I don't know how I came across it, but her website has everything from home and live, food, style, love, and etc. I mean her blog is the go to blog to get a lot of insight on certain things in life. I just recently came across one of her posts under the Entertain section. Tori Spelling, suggested when having a party or get together, it is best to entertain them not only by conversation but by decoration. Berry Ice Cubes, is what she suggested you have one should have so guests could be amazed by how creative you threw your party. I thought this recipe was very cute so I thought I'd steal it for Tasty Tuesday; I Love You Tori! So without further adu, here is today's Tasty Tuesday treat with Tori Spelling's Berry Ice Cubes.
