"Remember When You Broke Ya Neck & I Had To Wash Your Back For Ya, UGH.."

Oh' Miss American Idol is spilling all the tea on her current break up with pop artist Jason DeRulo. If you haven't heard, the two have broken up recently towards the end of the summer and Jordin kept mum about the situation while Jason went on airwaves speaking on it. Jason hasn't said much but just openly talking about it says too much.

Jordin Sparks is readying the release of her first mixtape #BYEFELICIA later today and it's leading song which she released last night is a cover to Drake's "How Bout Now". To add, this isn't just any ol' cover song, it's actually a diss to Jason DeRuloJordan kept it classy in her lyrics, but she does have some animosity towards the situation and a CLOSE FAMILY member of Jason

I guess Jordin had enough and she's ready to speak out what truly transpired the breakup. Listen to Jordin's shocking confession about Jason DeRulo on "How Bout Now" and make sure you download your copy of #BYEFELICIA hosted by THE L.A. LEAKERS

Jordin Sparks Pens A Loving Tumblr Post About Her Dad & Loved Ones

Photo Cred: Jordin Sparks Instagram

Leave it to Jordin Sparks to give us something thoughtful and spiritual all in a Tumblr post. The American Idol winner and actress took the time out to post a loving letter about her father and taking the time out of her busy schedule to call up a few loved ones for memories. In the letter, Jordin describes how thankful she is to speak to her father on more than one occasion where he humbles her as well as learns more about the man who has known her all her life.

Jordin reminds us no matter how busy we are for anyone the importance of picking up that phone call, text, video chat or etc. will create memories that will live on forever. Live in the moment. Jordin Sparks titles the post 'When The Memories Flood In'. Jordin writes:

"Last night, I got misty eyed listening to my song, Just For The Record. Not because it’s 7ish years old. (Which is CRAZY to me.) But because it was and is my Dad’s favorite. If this was a slideshow, you’d see all the times he would sing the tag line to me with a goofy grin on his face. How his face would light up when he heard the beginning instrumental with that tell-tale whistle. Oh, and when he would start to dance and really get into singing the song with me…

American Idol New Judges? ...

Hmm, Dear Randy Jackson...PLEASE STAY!!!
Now that the 12th season of American Idol is over the question lies who will be the returning judges for its 13th season. We already know American Idol veteran since season 1 Randy Jackson has resigned from the show after he made his decision to step down as a judge just last month. There have been rumors hitting the net that Nicki Minaj has decided to step down from the judges panel which leaves newbies Keith Urban and Mariah Carey

This season by far had the most diverse panel of judges, I've ever witnessed on a season of American Idol. Though in the beginning there was heavy tension between divas Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, the two of them are what brought the high ratings during the audition rounds. The bicker and feud just wasn't enough to keep viewers interested as the ratings dropped drastically, deeming the total as the lowest rating in American Idol history!

Is Mariah Carey Unfamiliar With Nicki Minaj's Occupation?

When MARIAH reads...SHE READS!!!!!
In the midst of all this Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj hoopla since the TMZ video leaked of the two new American Idol judges going back and forth in what seemed to be a disagreement taken way out of control. A day after the incident ABC's best insider squirrel Barbara Walters sat down with Mariah Carey to get her word of what happened between Nicki Minaj and the 200 million records sold pop artist aka the 'Golden Voice' as Barbara Walters pens Mariah

Months later Barbara once again sat down with Mariah Carey, not only to discuss her relationship with Nicki Minaj, but to discuss her salary on American Idol (earning a whopping $18 million for a season), her upcoming new record "Bring It On Home" a song she's written for re-elect President Obama, husband Nick Cannon and their adorable twins and more.

Left To Right: Mariah Carey, Monroe, Barbara Walters, (Uncle) Randy Jackson & Moroccan
But once Barbara Walters brought up Nicki Minaj's latest single "Hell Yeah" where in the song Nicki Minaj references her spot on American Idol and mentions BITCH, Barbara asks Mariah if she was the BITCH Nicki Minaj was (SINGING/RAPPING)referring to:

"I'll take it, sign on the dotted line
But I'm quick to check a bitch if she outta line
Shout out Mike, Darnell, and Nigel
Why these bums so mad that the queen on idol
Huh?"

Mariah's Facial Expressions After Being Asked.

Mariah then READ Nicki Minaj to the GODS and BEYOND Hunny!

Undiscovered Talent

So I bet you didn't know I sang. Well, not professionally...YET! But I do have aspirations of becoming a singer. I've been singing since I was 6yrs old; I discovered my love for singing during my sixth birthday party, Batman Themed and I ditched all my friends and family and had gone in my room to watch Disney's The Little Mermaid. "Part Of Your World" came on and I just remember singing the song so beautifully that I felt a connection with my voice and my spirit (goosebumps). Ever since then I've been singing!

I've did the whole reality tv talent competition shows (American IdolThe X-Factor) but I just wasn't quite lucky enough to make it to Hollywood. I guess it wasn't my time yet; but I still sing so I guess I'll get discovered when I will. Though, the music industry sucks right about now. For a while now, pop singer and X-Factor judge Demi Lovato's new single "Give Your Heart A Break" has been playing constantly in my mind and I just connected so well with the lyrics I just had to sing it. The only thing about this song...it's a tough song to perfect!!!

This weekend, I sat in my room and over and over practiced the song until I got the keys and pitch right, not to perfection yet, but I'm getting there. I thought i'd share with you guys a little of what I sang. I recorded a video and did what millions of others do...UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE BABY!!!!

Check It Out! I Hope You All Enjoy :-D!

Congrats To The New American Idol Judges!

Congrats to your new American Idol judges; Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and of course your host Ryan Seacrest. Finally, after months of speculation about who would replace judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler it looks like FOX have came down to a decision.

It is rumored newly judges Keith Urban will earn a whopping $4 million, Nicki Minaj earning $8 million and Mariah Carey banking with a $17 million dollar deal; again this is said to be rumored. I personally don't know how much the judges are getting compensated, but I can bet you your bottom dollar these high profiled celebrities now judges are making more than any of us by the second.

I'm anxious to see how this new group of judges will play out to the contestants on the upcoming 2013 season of American Idol. Could Idol hopefuls actually become more nervous than ever now that Grammy Award winning vocalist Mariah Carey will be on the panel critiquing their talent? Will Nicki Minaj bring the creative aspect to the hopefuls performances? Or better yet Keith Urban looks as if he's the quiet one out of the group, could he be the next Simon Cowell? Who knows, we'll just have to stay tuned January 2013.

Just To Clear Up Some Rumors Mariah Carey Has Some Words:

Throwback Friday - Bon Jovi "Livin' On A Prayer"

After coming across this song in a Jordin Sparks American Idol performance, I couldn't stop singing it to myself. Bon Jovi is a legendary group who propels in rock and roll; there should not be one song you don't know from Bon Jovi. Though, I just learned Bon Jovi sung this song, that doesn't mean I've never heard it. "Livin' On A Prayer" is played EVERYWHERE, most famously being a karaoke song or just played during commercials or at rock  concerts by other artists.

I just wanted to share Bon Jovi's video "Livin' On A Prayer" only to introduce to one of the greatest rock icons in the world and also add a different genre to Throwback Friday. I love this song, it's actually an inspirational song and who doesn't love a good inspirational song you can relate too. This will be my new song to sing at karaoke bars or even better weddings. BTW, this is my first time seeing the video with you guys.

Hope You All Enjoy & Have A Safe Weekend!

Memory Lane: @JordinSparks American Idol Audition + Favorite Performance

Who can forget when American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks came into our lives when first auditioned to become the next American Idol? I will always remember, only because out of millions that year I auditioned and Jordin beat me for that contract (I joke around when I say that, I LOVE JORDIN!). From the moment 16yr old Jordin Sparks entered the audition room and belted Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me", I just knew this girl was one to watch out for and so she became America's favorite voice and winner.

Week after week Jordin blossomed into a beautiful performer with stunningly vocal abilities, the competition was tough and Jordin some days was voted at the bottom some nights, she kept her head high hoping her loved fans wouldn't let her down; which they didn't. Jordin has and will always be one of my top 5 favorite Idol contestants and winners. I see why she beat me in the competition, she blew me away with her audition song, if you don't believe me take a look for yourself:

Mariah Carey To Join The American Idol Judges Panel?!

Is The Deal Really Close To Being Sealed?
Just after American Idol judge Steven Tyler announced his departure from one of the greatest talent finder competition shows in the world, American Idol; Jennifer Lopez then followed stating she'd be leaving the judges panel also. Leaving producers to look for two more judges to sit alongside Randy Jackson.

The two lovable judges Tyler and Lopez would be greatly missed, but they both are reasoning their departure based on needing time to focus on their music careers. There were no feuds whatsoever, in fact Jennifer stated to ABC News Amy Robach "We had magic,I don't know, with him gone, it might be a different formula.".

How does Mariah Carey come in this story? Well, there have been reports saying for the longest since Paula Abdul's departure in 2009, American Idol creator and once judge Simon Cowell has been trying to get Mariah Carey to sign on as a judge; that on Idol and his new FOX hit show The X-Factor, but conflicts in scheduling refrained from Carey being a judge. However, last week a very close source told US Weekly "They are in serious talks with Mariah and it's very close to being a done deal." If Carey is chosen to be American Idol's newest judge, Randy will sign off as a judge and become a mentor to the next batch of hopefuls.

I'm not sure what to think of the whole situation, I really believe American Idol needs to have steady judges who will sign on for a long time and not up and leave. I never knew Mariah Carey to be very critical verbally, I kind of want MiMi to stick to being a mentor and not a judge. BUT who knows, she might just have something stored up her sleeves for us LAMBS <3!

Throwback Friday - Paula Abdul "Straight Up"

I thought i'd definitely take you way back to an era in the late 80s where dance and music was the epitome of a great video. Paula Abdul who we all loved as a judge on American Idol and now love as a judge/mentor on The X-Factor is today's throwback artist. We all forget that Paula Abdul once was an incredible dancer, choreographer and singer. Paula's moves ignited the stage every performance she did. That soft innocent voice was what we all loved. Now I wasn't born in the early 80s, but hey being born in 89 growing up in the 90s in my home, you had to listen to all the great oldies.

One of my favorite songs from Paula Abdul is "Straight Up" this song is such a good stress relief workout song to jog too. I was reminded of this song by rapper J. Cole, his debut album Cole World, on one of the songs he samples Paula's hit "Straight Up". I mean who doesn't love this uptempo 80s disco trance beat. Without further adu, I present to you today's Throwback Friday - Paula Abdul "Straight Up" enjoy ;-) . Love You Paula!!!

Beyonce Rehearses "1+1" Live

There has been a video floating around YouTube of Beyonce rehearsing her new single 1+1 in her American Idol dressing room. The video is actually Beyonce singing live with her background singers and keyboardist. Beyonce's voice is beautifully gifted and extrodinary. I've been to 3 concerts and heard her live. Till this day I get GOOSEBUMPS when I hear her sing. Beyonce is without a doubt my inspiration.

I'm Auditioning For "The X-Factor"

I've been keeping this under wraps for a good minute. About two months ago I just signed up to receive updates about a new talent competition coming our way very soon. The talent competition is called "The X-Factor" basically "The X-Factor" is a talent competition between solo and group singers. The winner or winners of the competition, will get a 5 million dollar recording contract. This is much like American Idol but the process is a bit different. I don't know how different it will be, but with lady luck on my side, we'll soon begin to see. The show is created by no other than talent competition founding father Simon Cowell, who also created "American Idol", "Britain's Got Talent" and also "Pop Idol".  These are all three outstanding shows and have plenty seasons hit after hit. Although, "The X-Factor" was birthed in the United Kingdom, Simon Cowell, thought it was time to look for the person with "The X-Factor" in The United States.
