RIHANNA TEASES #R8 & ADDRESSES THE RUMORS!

It's no secret every year Rihanna releases a new album but for some reason her eighth album is taking a little bit longer. Rihanna is busy of course touring, in the studio, magazine shoots, performances and even taking vacations. That doesn't mean the Bajan pop star can't give us a little 'BIT' more details on her #R8 album. 

Throughout the summer it was rumored a leaked tracklist from the album emerged but neither Rihanna confirmed or denied this alleged track listing for the highly anticipated #R8 LP. However, this fall season Rihanna has been slowly slipping details about the album basically revealing to ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT "R8 "would arrive" very soon." DJ SKEE reported that #R8 would be released sometime in 2015.  

Rihanna recently quickly shut down rumors via her Twitter account and gave us a tease of what to expect on #R8 via her Instagram account. Check out what she had to say and tease below.

I guess Rihanna's playing it cool since she got her Instagram account back from being suspended due to her explicit content. I guess the bajan pop princess decided to play safe and upload her twerkin' antics straight to VINE.

Last week Wale hit up Sway's radio show 'Sway In The Morning' as he dropped a short snippet of his new single "Bad" which originally features a singer by the name of Tiara Thomas. 

To switch up the flow on the song, Wale dropped a feature that included the vocals of world renown pop star Rihanna. Although, the snippet is short, Rihanna does add a smooth Hip-Hop RnB element to the opposite element Tiara Thomas adds.

2013 Billboard Music Awards - BEST PERFORMANCES !

The Billboard Music Awards were last night and well a lot of lip syncing accrued, there were some memorable moments throughout the show. Some that include Justin Bieber's rant on his recent behavior, Madonna bearing all to see, Nicki Minaj's explicit lap dance to Lil' Wayne to Miguel hardcore landing on an audience goers body. Yeah, the show was just that memorable!!! 

I enjoyed the show even though Rihanna and Beyoncé weren't there. A lot of great performances as well as presenters; I'm really feeling Miley Cyrus's new look. Here are the best performances that I feel were the best throughout the whole night!

Rihanna '777 Tour' Documentary

You Got It!?...

I don't know if you remember, but last year as Rihanna went on a '777 Tour', where Rihanna took along 256 fans and journalists as she traveled across the world to perform on this '777 Tour'. Well now, we all get to witness what when down. 

NO, this documentary will not be like Beyoncé's recent HBO Documentary 'Life Is But A Dream', but it will show Rihanna behind the scenes rather than in the media and on stage. We actually get the behind the scenes Rihanna. I hope she shows footage of her smoking her weed and cussing up a storm (which I LOVE). I hope Chris Brown makes an appearance too! The '777 Tour' Documentary will air May 6th on FOX.

Rihanna Debuts Clothing Line For 'River Island' At London's Fashion Week

Looks Like Rihanna's Putting Her Fashion Style To Use!

This past weekend, Rihanna debut clothing line for 'River Island' via livestream during London's Fashion Week. Unfortunately, I got the news three hours after the fashion show aired. But it was only an 8 minute PHRESH OFF THE RUNWAY affair, that was recorded and now available to view for those who also missed. 

I must say this 'River Island' line really is a reflection of the outfits Rihanna wears publicly and its her own style. Rihanna's style does give me an 80s retro tease but with 90s flavor added to the mix. Some pieces are bit LOUD but hey it wouldn't be Rihanna if things weren't pretty TITTY exciting. The models even walked to some hardcore music from Jay-Z, A$AP Rocky (who serves as special guest to Rihanna on her DIAMONDS WORLD TOUR this summer) and ended with Rihanna's "Phresh Off The Runway".

My Favorite 2013 Grammy Looks!

I hope you all enjoyed the Grammy's this past Sunday night, I know I did; well the incredible outfit choices the celebrities decided to wear was my favorite part. If you didn't know the Grammy's issued a "STRICT" dress code that prevented artists from wearing any outrageous and revealing dresses, garments and things of that nature. Shockingly, the celebs decided not to cross the lines with the Grammys and went elegant. 

Here are a few of my favorite looks from music's big night of the year:

The Excitement Starts Tonight!!!

Tomorrow is the 55th Grammy Awards which will be a bittersweet moment for the music industry because around the same time last year we lost a very influential and gifted entertainer, Whitney Houston. There are rumors that the Grammy's is scheduled to have another Whitney Tribute performed by amazing artists who will take stage in celebrating the legacy and life of "THE VOICE". 

The Grammy's will be held at The Staples Center in Los Angeles LIVE February 10th at 8PM eastern on CBS. The arena will be filled with tons of celebrities, comedians, producers, singers, and heavy big names as they all unite to celebrate the best of the best in music. The performances will be a star studded event of those who will take the stage as well as presenters. Performers who are scheduled to rip the stage are: 

• Travis Barker, Chuck D, LL Cool J, Tom Morello, and DJ Z-Trip
• Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert
• The Black Keys
• Zac Brown, T Bone Burnett (as musical director), Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard, Elton John, Mumford & Sons, and Mavis Staples, who will pay tribute to the late Levon Helm of the Band

The lineup seems like no other award show will top it this year in 2013. I'm looking forward to Justin Timberlake and Rihanna's performances. Rihanna has a special surprise for her performance and it looks like she'll be performing alongside the Marley's.

What's even more exciting about this years Grammy's are the nominees, looks like the Grammy's have been listening to the people's opinions and have decided to nominate REAL ARTISTS and their work. Check out some of the artists that are up for a Grammy, maybe more than one. 

Favorite Instagram Of The Week - Badgalriri

If you're not on the famously iPhone/Android app Instagram by now, I say kill yourself...JUST KIDDING! Instagram is a photo based app that allows you to post any picture you want, edit the photo with effects and share it with your friends. A lot of celebrities use the app to post candid pictures of themselves rather having the paparazzi upload silly, wrong, and embarrassing pictures of them. 

My favorite Instagramer though has happened to be ROC NATION recording popstar Rihanna. We all know Rihanna is a trendsetter and she shares her looks with fans on the app. What made me favor Rihanna's Instagram photos is that she posts whatever she wants and captions it however she feels like; they're entertaining and dope at the same time. Wow, I absolutely love this video. This is my favorite Rihanna video of all time. To me this is how a music video looked back in the 90s, when music was so real and alive. I love the art, treatment, style, and story this music video included. Rihanna looks so gorgeous in all the scene shots, as well as her blonde eye candy love interest. I'm really anticipating Rihanna's new album due next month entitled Talk That Talk. Director Melina did an awesome job with this video despite the controversy between the Irish farm land owner and the crew members. "WE FOUND LOVE IN A HOPELESS PLACE" What did you think of the video? 

Patti LaHelle Presents: Got 2B Real

This whole summer I have been obsessing over creative and funny YouTube shows.One show I came across is a Diva Variety Show entitled Got 2B Real. This show features all of your favorite divas in one reality show. The divas you may ask who; well they are Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, Diana Ross and last but not least MOTHER Beyonce. There are three episodes so far all which are recently uploaded. In this variety show, you will see everything from jealousy, bickering, cattiness, double teaming, reactions to certain entertainment events, drama and all. This show is so funny.

However, what makes these videos so creative is that the creator @PattiLahelle uses past and recent interviews of each diva and does the voice overs for each segment. It's very brilliant and a thought out process; difficult if you ask me. Remember these are just PARODY videos, in no way shape or form to hurt the real artists in the industry, just something to poke fun at. I wish the show was actually on TV because I would be tuned into it every week.
