NEW MUSIC: K. MICHELLE 'ANYBODY WANNA BUY A HEART' [FULL STREAM]

PHOTO CREDI: K. MICHELLE INSTAGRAM
This by far is K. Michelle's best album ever!!! I have never heard such a production like this since Beyoncé's '4' album. I thought this new album was going to be just like her last album, Rebellious Soul. I am totally wrong, the songs and lyrics on this album do not compare to her last.

Album Stream: K. Michelle 'Rebellious Soul'

K. Michelle has given VH1 the permission and gift of streaming her debut album 'Rebellious Soul' a week before it hits stores on August 13th. We've been blessed for years now with K. Michelle singles and mix tapes, now comes the time where we actually hear a full production album which K. Michelle is singing about relationships. If you've never tuned into VH1's 'Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta' then you'd want to know K. Michelle has been very open and vocal about her tumultious love life as well as being in an abusive relationship in her past.

The album, 'Rebellious Soul' features eleven songs with one feature from Meek Mill and the rest is simply K. Michelle blessing us with her beautiful vocals and daring stories. After straight listening to the album for 44 mins, I am highly pleased and I anticipate the await of her album to be released so the whole world can hear this beautiful body of work the young reality starlet has shed sweat and tears for.

Favorite Songs On The Album Are "Damn", "I Don't Like Me", "Can't Raise A Man", "V.S.O.P.", "It's Too Late", "Hate On Her", "When I Get A Man" and the emotional song written for her son "A Mother's Prayer".

The Album's Lead Single Is "V.S.O.P." with buzz that "I Don't Like Me" is her second single, but I really feel believe K. Michelle should release "Can't Raise A Man" as the second single. Overall, the album sounds great & I wish K. Michelle the best of luck when releasing the album.

This past weekend Kanye West teased us all over the world with a video projector show of him performing his new single "New Slaves" off of his up and coming album titled 'Yeezus' which has been confirmed by his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, the album will be released June 18th.

This past Saturday Kanye West appeared on the season finale of SNL (Saturday Night Live) where he joked with celebrity guest Ben Afleck and even performed the song. Kanye West's "New Slaves" can come across a bit controversial, but as always Kanye West is always speaking his mind. Kanye's music and life will forever be a conversation piece. Janet Jackson Back In The Studio?!

Is Anybody Ready For Another Janet Jackson Album?!

Last week Janet Jackson celebrated the 20th Anniversary of her fifth album 'Janet' (which happens to be my favorite album of hers) on the 18th. Along with the celebration Janet Jackson sat down with Billboard for an exclusive interview in which she covered the overall essence and direction of the album 'Janet' and even shared as much information as to her being back in the studio to release another project.

I love Janet Jackson as an overall performer and can't wait to hear the sound of this new album; if it's anything like 'Janet' mixed with 's' then I will def be at the next tour. For now, I don't want Janet to rush anything, I hope she takes her time to keep creating timeless classics.

Justin Timberlake: The 20/20 Experience In Stores Now!!!

I purchased my copy digitally, though I will still buy my hardcopy soon...

Today, Justin Timberlake releases his third solo album titled 'The 20/20 Experience' which features the hit single "Suit & Tie" feat. Jay-Z. A week before the album's release it was available on iTunes to stream, which I refused to listen to because of the already awarding raves it was receiving on Twitter

I just knew I wasn't going to be disappointed once I purchased it. Though, there is one song I love already besides "Suit & Tie" and that is "Let The Groove Get In" which he recently performed fantastically on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Are You A Lyric Or Beat Listener?

When it comes to music...put it straight forward we all love it. We have our favorite artists, genre, albums and songs. But, did you ever think about what gravitates you to liking a certain song? Could it be the beat or is it the lyrics?

I remember having a conversation with my BFF about why do we fall in love with music so much. My BFF assumed I'm someone who looks for a good beat in a song and it's my favorite and while she listens to the lyrics of a song and that's when she decides whether or not she'll jam out to it or not.

However, she was right about me to a certain extent. I do love music, but if the beat isn't what I feel I can sit and feel vibes from, then I'm not listening. I'm usually looking for a song that challenges me to sing it as well as high notes in a song. Most of the time I'm looking for mid-tempo songs.

My BFF actually listens to the lyrics of song in which she can either relate to what an artist is singing about or she feels the song has a powerful message which is enjoyable to sing. My BFF is actually a pretty hard person to please when it comes to music; not only does she think outside the box but she analyzes it completely to the beat of a song; mind you she has no producing skills whatsoever; but I always value her opinions and views.

It's okay to be either a beat lover or simply a person obsessed with lyrics. That's what makes us unique individuals who start to have an eclectic music library. I would like to know especially now-a-days since the music industry is failing so badly; how do you know when you'll love a song; is it the beat or the lyrics?!

Christmas Album Of The Day - The Preacher's Wife

One of my favorite holiday movies is The Preacher's Wife and I absolutely love the album. The album mostly features icon Whitney Houston and the Georgia Mass Choir. This album is always played around my house just about every week. Who doesn't love a Christmas album that brings Gospel and Soul together?! Exactly...No One! If you saw the movie and liked LOVED it then I would suggest you purchase the album and have the time of your life. Listening to Whitney's voice is so relaxing and I mean this album couldn't just start off the holiday season right. My favorite songs are "I Believe In You & Me", "Step By Step", "My Heart Is Calling", "Who Would Imagine A King" and "Joy To The World". Do you have the album? What are your favorites?

Tyrese "Open Invitation"

I totally forgot model turned Hollywood actor Tyrese added singing to his resume. The sexy chocolate brutha whom ladies all call their Jody (hence Baby Boy movie) has released his 4th solo album entitled Open Invitation. It's been so long since we heard music from Tyrese. The last album he had was in 2006 and that was for his album Alter Ego. The lead single for Open Invitation is people's favorite "Stay" the video  features Academy Award Nominee Taraji P. Henson who plays his love interest. Steamy and beautiful video shall I add.

I didn't take Tyrese and his new project too serious, but after seeing him perform "Stay" on The Wendy Williams Show, I was taken by surprise. Once the show ended, I downloaded the album on iTunes. No matter how times are changing in the music industry, you can always count on Tyrese to keep real RnB music forever and ever. This album is absolutely one of his bests. Over the weekend, he was receiving Twitter responses saying the album wasn't on shelves at many of the popular stores that sells records. Despite that drama, Tyrese was all cheers and joy when he found out his album went #1 throughout the country. If you don't see the album in stores where your located, don't trip just buy the album on iTunes which features an additional two songs. Great Job Tyrese! I Love It!

New Music - Michael Buble "Christmas"

It's not even the Christmas season yet, but this Michael Buble guy just makes me want to skip Halloween and Thanksgiving and go right to the Christmas holiday. I love a good Christmas album, in  my opinion nobody beats the Christmas albums the Jackson 5 and Mariah Carey. Michael Buble however has just made the list, his voice on these Christmas classics is incredible. If you are looking for that old soulful unforgettable holiday music then Christmas by Michael Buble is what you need to go grab.

Michael covers classics such as "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas", "White Christmas feat. Shania Twain","Silent Night", "All I Want For Christmas Is You", "Ave Maria","Santa Baby" and many more of your favorite Christmas tunes. Trust me, you'll love this album and you'll love his voice. I don't know but he sounds like Frank Sinatra. This is going to be one of the best holiday album this year. Check him out!

Justin Bieber - Under The Mistletoe

Yes #TeamBieber the one and only Justin Bieber will be stuffing your stockings this Christmas with his upcoming holiday album entitled Under The Mistletoe. Don't we just love the way Justin is taking over the music industry in every way? The holiday album is set for a release November 1st. The christmas album also features a line up of your favorite artists who will help Bieber bring in the holiday such as Usher, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men and country group the Band Perry. The leading track set to be released on the 18th is called "Mistletoe". The video has been filmed and will set to debut the same week the single is released.

I'm in love with Christmas albums by artists, I find that their true vocals are really put to the test, it's not easy singing a Christmas song. Hopefully if you've been really good this year you'll have one helluva Bieber Christmas. I know when the album drops i'll be one happy Bieber fan bringing in Christmas spirit in the month of October. Hmm, I wonder why his girlfriend Selena Gomez wasn't invited along to sing some songs on the album. Welp, we know the two of them will have a very Merry Christmas :-).

My Promise To Beyonce.

Recently, Beyonce's songs for her forthcoming album "4" have been trying to get leaked before its release date of June 28th. There have been singles that were posted on YouTube,FaceBook,Tumblr, and the Blogs but immediately taken down. Then there was the sneaky ones who found a way to save the song under another name so no one would find out. Well, it was written all over the internet that her whole album leaked along with a song called "Party" featuring Andre 3000. As anxious as I am to hear the album, I have to say respectfully I will not download or listen to any other tracks until the album is released on June 28th. I don't know if she will push the album up or not, but if she pushes the album up I will be gladly to purchase the album at that date.

Beyonce's "4" Album Sound...

All I have to say is NOW I UNDERSTAND. I'm understanding where Beyonce is going with her new sound and her new music. Her recent single "Run The World (Girls)" is up and down on the iTunes chart but a hit on the radio waves. I wasn't too fond of the song but it grew on me. I didn't know where Beyonce was going at all with her new material and image at all. Once I kept hearing of talk about "Revolution" and a song about "Women Empowerment", it then clicked it my head; Beyonce was growing up as an artist.

Britney Spears "Femme Fatale"

Today marks the release of Britney Spears 7th studio album entitled "Femme Fatale". I've been waiting since she dropped her last album "Circus" to release another album. If you haven't known, Britney Spears is my top favorite singer/entertainer of all time. As a big fan, I have purchased all of her albums on the day they came out. What saddens me about being a fan is I have never been to one of her concerts or seen her live =(. With this album "Femme Fatale", I hope to go to this tour.

"Femme Fatale" I believe is one of Britney's best work ever in music making. I heard the album preview over at AOL First Listening Party and shall I say this album is all Pop Club Bangers!!! Britney Spears in her career is having fun with her music and doing her 100% to give us(the fans) something new and exciting every year. I don't know how she does it, but her music goes up a notch every time she releases an album. If you love to dance, cruise and relax to good music, then "Femme Fatale" is the album for you. Thank you Dr.Luke, Max Martin,Will.I.AM and others for producing such a fantastic album.

I got my copy of "Femme Fatale" and woke up extra bright and early to purchase it. You can see the pictures after the jump. Everyone please go get the album its worth the money and Britney can do no wrong when it comes to her music. Thank You Britney for always blessing us yearly with your incredible talent, beauty, humor, music and much more. Words cannot express how much I Love You. You really inspire me to do a lot. Thank You Britney XOXO!

Jazmine Sullivan - Love Me Back

Everyone seriously has got to go out and purchase or download on iTunes R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan's sophomore album entitled "Love Me Back".  I wasn't really intending to purchase the album, but a close friend of mines played the album in her car over the weekend and I must say i'm in love. "Love Me Back" really showcases Jazmine's growth from her first album "Fearless". I believe "Fearless" was just her introduction to people. "Love Me Back" is different from "Fearless" and turns up the notch a bit higher. The music on the album is to die for, her voice is still incredibly beautiful. I find myself listening to the album non stop all of a sudden. Jazmine really shows her vulnerable side on the album. Jazmine does have her ballads and she does have her up tempo songs. The album overall gets 5 stars from me. I'm really proud of Jazmine and her new album. It's rare many underrated artists get to a second album. I wish Jazmine Sullivan the most success in her many years to come in the industry. Everyone go out and get the album!

PINK FRIDAY- Nicki Minaj

If you haven't known...today is #PINKFRIDAY HOE! Today marks the biggest day of female rapper Nicki Minaj's life. Her debut album "PINK FRIDAY" is out in stores now. I must admit, I was never a big fan of Nicki Minaj when the bees were buzzing about her hardcore rapping/freestyle.

I never knew who Nicki Minaj was, where she came from and who she was signed with. Nicki Minaj is from Queens, New York, born Onika Maraj grew up in the tough streets, with her mother and father (whom on her mixtapes & album talks about their troubles) and went to one of New York City's greatest performing arts school "LaGuardia Performing Arts School".  I read up on Nicki Minaj and how she would freestyle rap with some of her friends on corners and where ever people would listen. Nicki Minaj then ended up on a mixtape dvd and it somehow got in the hands of fame rapper Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne then called for Nicki Minaj and the next thing you know she was signed to his major record label "Young Money Records".The journey Nicki Minaj took to get to this day of releasing a debut album to the world wasn't a easy one. When she started working on her debut album about a year ago, songs were leaked then forcing Nicki to revamp to the studio and create tons of great material.

Nicki Minaj likes to call herself the "Harakjuku Barbie" and calls her fans Barbz & Ken. The reason I started to like Nicki Minaj was because of all the tracks she was on with some of my biggest and favorite music artist of all time. Nicki Minaj is known now for her crazy antics and changing of accents she does at any point of time. It's cute sometimes, but other times i'm like okay Nicki lol!  Anywho, I'm proud to be a Nicki Minaj. I guess I wasn't so into Nicki Minaj because I felt she was getting too cocky in the game and trying to overthrown some of my female rappers. What I learned is the entertainment business builds you up to be cocky and respected. Nicki was only staying true to herself and releasing good music and blessing people on their tracks.  I respect Nicki Minaj a lot and I'm proud that she can now share her incredible music with the world. Congrats Nicki Minaj! #PINKFRIDAY HOE! For My Album Review Read After The Jump...The album from me gets 5 Full Stars! The Album is off the hook. The beats and lyrics to each song is different and dope. I am in love with this album for a long time. Here's the tracklist and make sure you download or buy #PINKFRIDAY anywhere you can.
