Tis' the season to stock your dining room with christmas cookies delight. 

The holidays are all about tasty treats and satisfying meals. I'm one who loves to have a little bit of treats in a jar or bin to help bring in the holiday spirit when I'm not cooking. I've always been a cookie type of guy. Especially chocolate chip and sugar cookies. 

I came across Food Network's own Sunny Anderson's beautifully presented 'Sunny's Cereal Confetti Cookies' and I just thought I had to share with you all. The fact that it's already sugar cookies but with a bit of Fruity Pebbles cereal (which happens to be my favorite) just got me excited to bake and try. 

I incorporated M&Ms in my chocolate chip cookies but I never once thought to add cereal to the mix. I can't wait to try the cookies once I bake them and share them with you all. Have you ever done this before? What type of treats do you keep around during the holidays?

Getting FIT With Angela Simmons

The new year is here and that means getting all of our asses back in the gym to work off our holiday meals we've been salivating on since Thanksgiving. If there is anyone we can look up to for inspiration, it would be mogul Angela Simmons. This girl has one rock hard body as well as a strict diet which she follows being a vegetarian but here and here splurges on a good delicious meal or treat. Throughout it all, Angela shows us via Instagram photos she's def about that "GET IT RIGHT, GET IT TIGHT" life! 

I'd kill for Angela's abs right now, though it looks like her workouts are very intense. I guess there is never a day where we would see Angela not looking fit, toned and igniting her outfits with the hottest curved body. Angela does numerous of workouts such as Boxing, Planks, AB routines, Yoga and etc. to get her body to look as phenomenal as it should be. I mean this is especially for the ladies whom want to get their body back into shape, for guys looking to put in a slight workout, I guess Angela's workout can prone to you as well.  

I know this year i'll try to workout as often as Angela and get my body back into shape; for now let's use Angela Simmons as motivation to get our junks in the trunk bodacious and our abs looking rock hard!

Babes In Toyland [Movie]

I was a child again last night when looking for a movie to watch and I came across one of my favorite all time holiday-kids movie, "Babes in Toyland" which stars the beautifully talented Drew Barrymore, sexy voice Keanu Reeves, Pat Morita and many more. I don't know when or how I got introduced to the movie but I remember having the VHS tape living in New York way back in the early 90s. It used to scare the daylights out of me at some parts, so I made sure to always tape over the part that scared me lol.

"Babes in Toyland" (1986) is a classic holiday tale about a young girl Lisa Piper who has to come in the knowing about what it feels to be a kid because she doesn't have time for toys or a childhood life. In order to find that out, she is sent to a far away land, Toyland where it's always daylight and the friendliest toys and nursery rhyme characters come alive. Lisa's journey is not all smiles and cheer, she is faced to stop the evil Mr. Barnaby Barnicle from taking over Toyland and possibly ending the joyous holiday of Christmas.

I found the movie with limited commercial disruptions on Hulu. A website that posts all TV Show episodes, movies, specials and etc. that you may have missed or want to watch. Thank you Hulu!!! I need to get this movie on DVD before Hulu takes it down. I can't stop watching this movie. I will share with you guys the movie :-) so you can see why I fell in love with it.

How Was Your Thanksgiving Holiday?

Sorry I didn't post on Thanksgiving wishing you all a Happy Holiday. I was really into the family holiday and was so anxious to eat like a pig :-). My Thanksgiving this year was small and simple, it was just the people in my house which included my mother, step-father and my little brother, oh' you can't forget little Tokyo too. The guest list might have been small, but the menu was full, we had turkey, ham, baked macaroni and cheese, baked ziti, white rice, gravy, collard greens, potato salad, dinner rolls, stuffing and candied yams. I know i'm missing other foods, but this is all I can remember on my plate. I love Thanksgiving when it's with a small family, you get to enjoy it better and it really becomes memorable. I love my family! Tell me about your Gobble Gobble Day :-). 

One More Day Until Gobble Gobble Day :-)

The big Gobble Gobble Day is one nearing within a few more hours. Being the nosey person I am, I would like to know where is everyone spending their Thanksgiving? Are you having it at your house? What foods and deserts will be made? What's your favorite dish? What do you wear? and What movies do you watch as a family? Oh' one more thing....can I come over and will you save me a plate? LOL. Seriously!!!

New Music - Michael Buble "Christmas"

It's not even the Christmas season yet, but this Michael Buble guy just makes me want to skip Halloween and Thanksgiving and go right to the Christmas holiday. I love a good Christmas album, in  my opinion nobody beats the Christmas albums the Jackson 5 and Mariah Carey. Michael Buble however has just made the list, his voice on these Christmas classics is incredible. If you are looking for that old soulful unforgettable holiday music then Christmas by Michael Buble is what you need to go grab.


Michael covers classics such as "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas", "White Christmas feat. Shania Twain","Silent Night", "All I Want For Christmas Is You", "Ave Maria","Santa Baby" and many more of your favorite Christmas tunes. Trust me, you'll love this album and you'll love his voice. I don't know but he sounds like Frank Sinatra. This is going to be one of the best holiday album this year. Check him out!

Tasty Tuesday: Gingerbread Cupcakes

How delish are these holiday Gingerbread Cupcakes? The frosting itself makes me just want to eat it alone. Well, since we are in the holiday season, I thought it would be festive to add some holiday treats to Tasty Tuesday. Want to know what else is new too? I actually searched around for a good recipe and I came across Martha Stewart's Recipes. I swear I love Martha Stewart's Home Living Magazines. Happy Labor Day

How funny is this picture lol? Well, Labor Day is the time of year to know that everyone is starting school. Just wishing everyone a safe and Happy Labor Day. The summer is over but the memories from it are going to stay with me for all time. What are you doing for Labor Day? I think i'm going to just chill in the house and enjoy some good ol' TV.
