Getting FIT With Angela Simmons

Angela Simmons ABS
The new year is here and that means getting all of our asses back in the gym to work off our holiday meals we've been salivating on since Thanksgiving. If there is anyone we can look up to for inspiration, it would be mogul Angela Simmons. This girl has one rock hard body as well as a strict diet which she follows being a vegetarian but here and here splurges on a good delicious meal or treat. Throughout it all, Angela shows us via Instagram photos she's def about that "GET IT RIGHT, GET IT TIGHT" life!

I'd kill for Angela's abs right now, though it looks like her workouts are very intense. I guess there is never a day where we would see Angela not looking fit, toned and igniting her outfits with the hottest curved body. Angela does numerous of workouts such as Boxing, Planks, AB routines, Yoga and etc. to get her body to look as phenomenal as it should be. I mean this is especially for the ladies whom want to get their body back into shape, for guys looking to put in a slight workout, I guess Angela's workout can prone to you as well.

I know this year i'll try to workout as often as Angela and get my body back into shape; for now let's use Angela Simmons as motivation to get our junks in the trunk bodacious and our abs looking rock hard!

Check her workout pics after the jump...

Run Hundred: October's Top 10 Workout Songs

I was recently emailed by one of my viewers who informed me one of my blog posts that stood out to him was the top 10 workout songs. Chris Lawhorn, who operates RunHundred (a blog/website about workout songs and workout routines) and also writes some music articles for magazines such as Marie Clair and Men's Journal, generously suggested with his knowledge on great workout songs he would provide me with the top 10 workout songs of the month. Without hesitation I emailed him back accepting his offer. I mean we all dread working out, but it's something about music that gets our hearts pumping and motivates us to work hours in the gym or at home. Thank You Chris for being a big help! Without further adu, here are the Top 10 Workout Songs of October 2011. Continue after the jump on how you can stay connected to Chris Lawhorn.

Workout Wednesday: YOGA

Today's Workout Wednesday is simply the relaxing and easiest form of exercising. You all know about YOGA even if you never tried it or you heard about it from a friend who's taken YOGA classes. YOGA is simply a relaxing form of exercising, placing your body in flexible positions, to relax your mind, body, and soul. Also, in the process you can shed some lbs and tone your body. I never tried YOGA but i'm aware the moves that are done in YOGA classes, I have done but just wasn't paying attention. YOGA is very good for those who refuse to go to a gym and workout. YOGA is free, you can take classes from your own home, or simply have a YOGA class yourself with a few close friends. When I say YOGA is free from your home, I mean you can turn on your OnDemand if you are a digital cable subscriber and find various free YOGA feautres. I rather take the in home YOGA classes rather than paying membership at the gym lol. What about you? I hear that YOGA classes are fun and your body feels so great afterwards. I really need to get up on the bandwagon!
