Run Hundred: October's Top 10 Workout Songs

I was recently emailed by one of my viewers who informed me one of my blog posts that stood out to him was the top 10 workout songs. Chris Lawhorn, who operates RunHundred (a blog/website about workout songs and workout routines) and also writes some music articles for magazines such as Marie Clair and Men's Journal, generously suggested with his knowledge on great workout songs he would provide me with the top 10 workout songs of the month. Without hesitation I emailed him back accepting his offer. I mean we all dread working out, but it's something about music that gets our hearts pumping and motivates us to work hours in the gym or at home. Thank You Chris for being a big help! Without further adu, here are the Top 10 Workout Songs of October 2011. Continue after the jump on how you can stay connected to Chris Lawhorn.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For those of you who didn't know, October is the month for Breast Cancer Awareness. I personally never lost anyone in my family Breast Cancer let alone any other cancer and I don't want to be alive to see any of my family members and close friends lose their life to cancer. Yet alone, not anyone should experience death by the different causes of cancer. October is the month to wear pink in support of those who have lost their lives to cancer and for those who have overcome the battle. May PINK stop Breast Cancer for all time.

Tasty Tuesday - Homemade Halloween Pops

Who doesn't love to get creative when cooking in the kitchen? Well in this case, I think we're baking. October is such a fun festive month. This is one of the Fall's seasons best holidays. I actually enjoy decorating my house and room to make it a bit horrific and scary. Also, seeing other people on my block decorate is very fascinating. I'm happy i've came across this cool recipe on making Halloween lollipops. You can use these lollipops as treats or you can basically use them as decorations around the house on a coffee table or any furniture of your choice. Though, they look so tasty I might just eat them all as a treat lol. Here is todays Tasty Tuesday from a horrific treat from The Food Network Online called Homemade Halloween Pops. Check the recipe after the jump.

October: Observe And Evaluate #2

Okay, so as I wrote on my last post, this October, I'm going to post some scary or Halloween themed portraits, pictures, etc. and we're going to observe the picture and evaluate what was or is going on in the photo. The picture above is the second picture for the month. What do you think is happening? What is going on? Why are the portraits leaning on the wall?

October 1st!!!

It's October everyone and you know what that means; all things SCARY!!! October is my 2nd favorite month of the year, okay 3rd but still the same thing. Halloween is near, if you know me you'll know i'm such a big Horror Fanatic! I can't wait to see all the movies that come out this month. Of course, you'll know they will be all sorts of crazy, spooky, and scary. As a treat, I was thinking throughout this whole month everyday I will post a Spooky/Halloween picture and we'll observe and evaluate what's going on. In total of 31 pictures will be observed and evaluated. I want to see what evaluations you all come up with. I think this will be fun. If you know the stories of some of the pictures I post, please do share with me. The first picture I'm sure everyone will know or if you don't know then you better get your Halloween, Spooky Story Braincells to working. Observe the picture after the jump and let me know what you think? What's the story behind it? What do you think happened? What was the illustrator or painter trying to tell us? Or What does this picture have to do with Halloween? P.S. I Can't Wait For 13 Nights of Halloween on ABCFamily!
