Backing Up Your Phone

The last recent years, smartphones have become very popular throughout the entire world, well I know in the United States they have been. But as these smartphones such as the iPhone, Blackberry and Android take over our everyday life, I have one small question to ask...Do You Ever Backup Your Phone? 

For those who don't know what backing up your phone is, let me school you a bit. It's an option on every smartphone or at least every phone where you save all important information such as; contacts, notes, text messages, pictures, BBM friends, apps and etc. from time to time phone wipe outs. I mean hey, you may never know when you're phone will reset on it's own and delete EVERYTHING!

So my question is, do you ever think to backup your phone? Is it something you do on a weekly basis? Is backing up your phone the last thing on your mind? Is there pros and cons to backing up your phone? I want to know what you think. I have a friend who recently had his Verizon Blackberry wiped out and he lost his contacts in his address book and BBM contacts. He's not that upset about it, because he's happy he still has all his APPS lol. Thanks For Inspiring This Post DAN!
