Thursday Movie - Blank Check

When you talk about throwback movies, you can't forget about the movie that wanted to make us rich the moment we watched it. The movie i'm taking you back to is Blank Check, which stars Brian Bonsall, Karen Duffy, James Rebhorn and plenty other big names. The movie came out in 1994, I was 5 years old. Off the top of my head without researching to find a summary of the movie, all I can remember is that it was about a young boy who recieves a blank check and fills it in with the biggest amount possible and gets it cashed. The kid, Preston then buys all these extravagant things and he is the happiest boy alive, until he has two hit man out after him because the check actually belonged to someone pretty important. That's about what I remember, but this movie made me want to become a millionaire. Check the trailer below. I wished they would show this movie on cable, if not then i'm bound to get the dvd.

Throwback Friday - The Lion King "Circle of Life"

Throwback Friday is dedicated to one of my favorite movies of all time "The Lion King".You can often hear me sing some of the songs off the soundtrack. This movie had to come out when I was 5 years old. It's shocking to me still that I know all the words from the movie and I completely have the soundtrack in my iTunes library. My favorite part of the movie is the beginning where Simba is just born and to celebrate his birth, all the animals in the kingdom come together as one to show their love for the new cub who is soon going to be king of the pride lands. This part they also play the intro song to the movie entitled "Circle of Life". Words cannot express how much I love this movie! Enjoy the video and have a great weekend =)

Welcome to my favorite day of the week, Wednesday. Today marks Wishful Wednesday, today is the day where you can make any wish you want. This is your outlet to let your dreams take you where ever you want to take them. You can also wish to change things in your environment or society. I'd love to read each and every one of your weekly wishes. If you're looking at the picture above, you are probably thinking "what's with all the old school Disney vhs tapes?" Congrats To Prince William & Princess Kate Middleton

May I say I am honored to say I have been alive to see a Royal Wedding take place between two beautiful people. HRH (His Royal Highness) Prince William of Wales no The Duke of Cambridge has married HRH (Her Royal Highness) The Dutchess of Cambridge Catherine "Kate" Middleton at Westminster Abby in London. The Royal Wedding as they called it was viewed by billions of people all over the world on television and in person if you were in London. I actually stayed up till 4'o'clock A.M. just to watch the Royal Wedding. What a beautiful ceremony. I was completely in tears for the both of them. Their wedding reminded me of a fairytale ending as in something you'd see in a Walt Disney movie.
