New Jersey Nightlife: Stelton Lanes

So for those who don't know, I'm a Jersey Boy! Along with living in New Jersey, some who live oustide of the state, may assume New Jersey is just a boring suburban residential environment where you'd get lost in a second if you chose to run to the store. For those who think that, you're def WRONG!!!

New Jersey has its share of a fun nightlife; well I can only speak for the teens and college students. Every week there could be more two to three parties thrown by party promoters, clubs or lounges. Though Jersey is a BIG STATE, you'd have to narrow it down to what nightlife is the funnest. Well, if you can only narrow it down to the urban areas; which are now taking over the real suburban areas of New Jersey

Urban New Jersey differs from Jersey Shore Partygoers!!!

The best nightlife parties are thrown by HSLX & GURU (a party promoting duo team who is respected EVERYWHERE). Whether it's a HSLX (Hood Star Luxury) party or GURU, everyone knows they're bound to have a good time. Reason being, they bring in the biggest crowds, book the hottest DJs, over capacitate their venues and even bring in big celebrity big names to stop by.

One of the popular Jersey nightlife parties to attend is Stelton Lanes. Stelton Lanes is a bowling alley by day, dance battle royal party by night. You can catch any and everybody lined up at Stelton Lanes on a Friday night just to enjoy good music, friends and get a couple of numbers or two, four, hell maybe eight! Stelton Lanes is located in Piscataway, New Jersey and if you end up going you will find outrageous fashions, captivating guys, females whom you'll be playing EYE-SEX with for a minute, new Jersey dance routines and much more.

If you don't believe me take a look:

Though it's been a while since I've been out on the scene, but sometimes I do think about attending the parties just to get a good laugh in or to see what everyone's listening to nowadays. I will make my return soon, though I need to live my 20s up like it's my last before my career takes control of me...YOLO!

If interested about attending one of HSLX & GURU events; you can personally Tweet Tajh (HSLX) and Carver (GURU) for upcoming events @:

Drake A Howard University Student?

Well at least that's what he wants Howard University students to consider. This weekend was HBCU's (Historical Black College University) Howard University's Homecoming which filled the campus with a plethora of events and performances by popular artists such as 2 Chainz and Drake

During 2 Chainz set as a surprise he brought out Drake to perform his verse on their hit single "No Lie". In doing so, Drake also took the stage to perform "HYFR" (Hell Yeah Fucking Right) and "The Motto"...YOLO!

After Drake's performance, he took a second to bless the audience  with one of his many accomplishments in his life and that was recently going back to high school and earning his diploma. Drake shared these words with the audience:

"You know about two minutes ago, I made the decision…For the last four months I went back to high school and I graduated high school, so you see what my campaign is about this year cause I went straight to the bookstore. I’m trying to come to school with y’all. I wanna know if you accept."
Congrats to Drake and his many successful ongoing establishments. We hope he does further his education as some of his entertainment colleagues has done such as; Tyra Banks, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tatyana Ali, J Cole, Talib Kweli, David Banner and many more.

Take a look at Drake's Howard Yardfest performance!

What Are Some Great Websites Where I Can Apply For College Scholarships?!

Hey everyone, I need a huge favor from those who can or know someone who can help me out. As we all know, college is not the most cheapest place to further an education. I'm recently enrolled in NYIT (New York Institute of Technology) and the tuition there is not so bad as I thought it would be, but beings though according to the government my mother makes "too much" money for me to qualify for financial assistance from the government "free aid". The school has did a big help by allowing me to qualify for their grant and transfer scholarship awards; The bad part is I'm once again taking out more loans. In the outcome, I'm not complaining because most of the awarded loan money including grants and transfer scholarship fund has covered most of my first semester tuition. There's just one thing i'm some thousand short.

Now, back when I was at my community college, I had applied for scholarships that they provided and I was never awards any of them because they process just took too long and well I graduated just last week .With that being thrown out of the window, I am not trying to find good outstanding scholarship websites that will provide me the best way on getting a scholarship to help me pay the rest of my college tuition. I would like to hear from you guys what sites or sources you have used or heard other's talk about that gave him the best scholarships. If you know anything please help me out, I don't want to waste a year again on a scholarship website that never got back to me. If you wish to email me these websites please do JadoreLaTroy@Gmail.com

Thank You!!!

Any Suggestions: Interpersonal Books

Okay, not quite the book I have to read that you see above, but it looks interesting right? Well, this semester in my College Public Speaking class we have to do a book report; sounds a little high schoolish, I Bet! We have a book report based on any interpersonal communications. I quite didn't understand what that meant at the time, but thanks to my BFF, I have everything understood and ready go to. The only problem is....I don't have a book. Now, you know when there is a book report you have to do, you go to your favorite book or the easiest story you've read and you work on that? I'm steering away from that and I want to read something interesting and unfamiliar. I want something new. A book i've never read before other than A Child Called It, The Kite Runner and etc i'm asking you all  for your wonderful help. Do you recommend any books that you have read that was based up interpersonal communications? I know some of my viewers have to be readers :-). Help me out please, throw some books tittles my way.

When Should Immaturity Stop?!

The past 2 weeks I've been experiencing very bad immaturity between my college peers. I go to a community college, and unfortunately I was supposed to be graduating from college next year. To my knowledge I have about 3 more years. The reason I have so many years until I graduate is I took time off for a while. Anyway Doe (Kat Stacks Voice), In most of my classes I'm usually the oldest and everyone is just graduating from High School. I'm 21 and I graduated High School in 2007, you do the calculations and evaluations. My issue is why am I associating myself with people who act highly immature and shows out for attention. I tried to remain my composure and just think it'll all go away, but i'm starting to believe once you graduate high schoool, it really does take years or months to act like an adult. My whole ordeal is this is College one should not be asking me for pencils and passing he said she said threats. Where do people come across being so immature in college? I really can tolerate a lot but when it comes to immaturity, I really don't have the patience for it. There's a time and a place for it, but if your in college it should stop! With this friend of who truly immature what should I do? Do you think he/she is doing it for attention? Trying to be someone their not? At this point I really don't know what to do. I'm asking you for advice.

312 Pages, 28 Chapters...

"You Get What You Ask For!" I know believe the saying now that my head and eys hurt from reading this long autobiography lol. Seriously, this whole week, I'm catching up on sleep. I had to read this 312 page 28 Chapter book within 2 days. All I vouche to say is never hold off research papers until the last minute. I have a research paper on Marian Anderson due Wednesday, October 27. Can I add that it has to be 6-8 pages. I only did 2. I tried getting the information off of databases only to recieve the same information. I then decided to get her autobiography. The book was okay, I just felt Marian Anderson added way too much unecessary information lol. I start my paper today when I get home from school. My body feels like a beat up cardboard, that has been folded multiple times. I really asked for a book to read and I got what I asked for lol. Wish me luck on my paper! I need it.

I Need To Get Back On Board!

Hey Bloggers And Bloggettes!

I am so sorry for the inconvenience and the long wait. I really spend my time on the computer but don't have enough time to actually blog. So much has been going on in my life and I just can't wait to share my stories with you. I don't know what to talk about or how to even start. If you can give me some ideas, that would be great. I'm trying to stay away from the celebrity bash blogging, but from time to time I will posts some events on them.

Catching Up:
Im still in school, I'm studying Communications/Public Relations (PR), and unfortunately I'm failing MATH (REMEDIAL). Math has never been my forte and I've should've never taken it as a joke. School is fun, I love it and the diversity just thrills me. I'm working still and it is complete havoc. Super Single and Looking. Im very picky too, so I think i'll be single until I find Mr. PERFECT

Thanks For Hanging With Me:
Thank you very much for being with me. I totally appreciate it, I'm going to really dedicate my time to blog, try to put more emphasis on my life and entertainment. I'm really tired so i'll just end it here. Plus who wants to read so much lol.
