The Difference Between Sex & Pornography???

Hmm, something's been floating around in my mind for the past couple of days. Okay! not nearly the past couple of days but ever since I was introduced to celebrity sex tapes, scandals and porno videos. I still till this day want to know the difference between Sex and Pornography! Sex is arousing temptation intercourse between two parties while pornography is just the same but recorded on video or even just a snap shot. I know the suffix word of pornography is graphy meaning in some type of way dealt with the practice, occupation and result of producing sexually arousing imagery or words. I really don't understand what makes pornography such a big terrifying and disgusting word when although it practice comes down to SEX. Some people and the media out there take pornography to the extreme strongly sometimes calling it a dirty act of body to body contact. Isn't sex supposed to be a beautiful thing though?

My point i'm trying to reach is if mostly everyone in the world is having sex how come the ones who uses technology devices during sex are the ones being called dirty and looked down upon. What's the difference? Sex is just Sex! I'm really not trying to go into a rant although I actually find it quite amusing. Better yet lets just say pornography is the practice of actors having sex on film to entertain people for their sexual embraces. I really want to know what's the big difference. If I was to have sex using a technology device with my significant other loving each other embracingly; would that be considered porn? Hmm.... I don't know if this is a tough question as it is for me. If you have any explanation please let me know. What's your thoughts on Sex and Pornography? Do you think the two needs to be separated?

  1. I think that sex can be a beautiful thing. Not to get all personal but when my boyfriend and I do it, it's deeply personal and its wonderful. But like I said its PERSONAL and should not be shared with the world.

I find pornography to be disgusting and exploiting the bodies of the people involved. Porn is used for people to "get off" or masturbate, I do not want people looking at my body or even seeing my personal moments with my significant other. Most the people on these porns are paid and do not even know each other before filming, therefore its not a special moment for them but why would you let people make money off of your body knowing that it is going to be used for demeaning purposes?

I think porn stars are gross and probably full of diseases. (Although it is said that most "major" porn companies are performing routine exams to make sure that their "actors" are disease-free.

  2. Your Response Was Great! :-) Thank You. Although, Myself I Don't Have Intimate Sex (lol), I'm Much More Of A Freak. Is My Sex Still Considered Pornographic Even Though I'm Not Getting Paid Or On Video Camera?

  3. No, I can be a freak sometimes. *wink wink* but its still between me and my significant other so no one needs to see it.
