Two weeks ago Somerset, New Jersey rapper Omari Edwards dropped his remix to Joel Ortiz's "Battle Cry"; a popular beat you can find inspiring rappers to throw their own bars over on YouTube. However, OE's remix is non like the rest. "Battle Cry" serves as a championship track, I can def see OE walking down a ramp into boxing ring. Every week you can look out for new tracks dropping to a social networking page near you! It just so happens "Battle Cry" happens to be one of my favorites and he made a video to it.
Following the positive feedback Omari Edwards has been receiving about his remake on the classic hip-hop beat, he decided to make a video for the song. In the short two minute video you can see nothing but Omari spitting his bars in the night as well as a lil hot wheels play work. Still on fire from releasing his latest mixtape released in December entitled Self Dialect, it's only right to get back in the studio and record some more street cred tracks. Omari Edwards is destined to make 2012 his year to get out there and be the best rapper no ones ever been. Be on the look out for this young inspiring artist and his hard working dedication to music is his never ending saga. Check out the video below:
