Enfamous's EP Release Party [Pics]

Though I wish I filmed and took more photos...

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to Enfamous's EP release party for his long awaited first EP 'My Revenge' which turned out to be very successful. The ep was available to download for FREE! And with numbers shown, the downloads reach high in the thousands. Enfamous along with his band, producer and amazing background singers took the stage to put on a stellar performance I will remember for the rest of my life!

Enfamous performed the lead single "Hope You Hurt" off 'My Revenge' and that performance touched people in the audience so much some were tearing, as they could relate to each and every lyric and verse Enfamous poured his heart out as he sang so melodically and effortless. I'm really proud and happy at the artist Enfamous has made himself to become. What I really love about Enfamous is that he sits down and writes his own music, arranges the melodies as well as visualizes his performances and puts it all together.

If there is one unsigned artist who you are to look out for in 2013, I would have to say Enfamous. He is taking New Jersey by storm and the lyrics he writes down with his pen and pad are soon going to earn him a Grammy Award. Here are some photos I have taken, you can view them after the jump.

THE WAIT IS NOW OVER!!!

New Jersey's rising singer/dancer/songwriter Enfamous has finally released his first EP titled My Revenge. It's been a long time since we all have waited for Enfamou's debut EP since he put out his first single "Point & Grill" back in 2010. Within those tree years, Enfamous teased us with singles to keep us on our toes of what to expect on his EP. Shall I add the three year wait was WORTH IT!

Back and ready to take the music industry by storm, Enfamous's hardwork and dedication shows throughout this EP. The lead single "Forget To Love Me" introduced us to the complete new sound Enfamous is introducing us to as he evolves into the artist he's always dreamt of. The fan favorite follow up second single "Hope You Hurt" showed how talented Enfamous is as a vocalist and songwriter.

My Revenge, is an EP for all those who have been hurt in some way  shape or form in a relationship; it can even be with an ex-friend. The 10 track EP serves as an all round EP you have to play from beginning to end; NO SKIPPING NECESSARY. The whole EP is one A-FUCKING-MAZING EP that sounds like a full production LP. Tracks include "Hope You Hurt", "Regret", "Battle", "Freak My Body" and the phenomenal "Hope You Hurt (Reprised) feat. Farrah Roshay A-Natural" who both share an EPIC vocal performance of the song together as a duet as well as other songs you will LOVE

Be Sure To Download 'My Revenge' & Use Hashtag #MyRevenge Once You Download The EP To Share With Your Friends, Followers, Instagramers & Etc.

Solange 'TRUE' EP + Performances

'TRUE' EP Artwork Photo Courtesy of SolangeMusic.
Currently I'm obsessed with Solange Knowles latest piece of work which is her EP TRUE which she released November of 2012. The EP's leading single "Losing You" had a music video which I blogged highly about, if you'd like to read the feature of "Losing YouClick Here. TRUE, is a seven song EP surround love and its ups and downs and was written and produced by Solange herself and collaborator Dev Hynes. This would be Solange's 3rd musical project and hopefully releasing a 3rd album in the coming year.

The sound for TRUE would be described as late 80s early 90s. I love how Solange always finds a way to reinvent herself instead of sticking to the same material. Solange's last album Sol-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams was inspired by the 60s sounds and image; clearly TRUE was birthed by Solange's latest infatuation with melodic soothing vibes of the 80s and 90s. This is a true breather to take if you want to get away from the music that's currently rotating on radio air waves surrounding auto-tune and electro-pop. You'd be one helluva fool to say Solange isn't a brilliant songwriter, every song on TRUE was written based on events in Solange's life.

My favorite cuts on the EP are "Losing You", "Some Things Never Seem To Fucking Work", "Lovers In The Parking Lot" and "Don't Let Me Down"; basically that's most of the EP. Solange is her own artist and i've always loved and admired her work, because Solange totally takes total control on the image and sound of her work as well as being hands on in everything, she's not just a signed artist doing what a label tells her to do.

In promotion of TRUE, Solange is now on tour performing the EP in small venues for big crowds. A recent stop in New York City this past December (2012) seemed to be a fan favorite because video footage of some of the performances circled the internet like crazy. I'd love to share them with you, so you too can see how ICONIC Solange has become in style and performing.

Danity Kane's Shannon Bex "Damaged" Country Cover

Anyone remember Danity Kane member Shannon Bex? Well, it looks like the girls have branched off doing well in their own solo ventures. Shannon Bex who is now married and is pursing a solo career in the genre of Country is set to release her self titled EP very soon. Meanwhile, she's started a YouTube Channel where she's posting videos of the journey to creating her EP along the way singing country covers of songs that are favorites.

In this particular video Shannon was asked to cover her once top selling female pop group Danity Kane's "Damaged" off their second album Welcome To The Dollhouse. Though in the beginning of the video Shannon states she's over the whole Danity Kane era then performs the fan favorite song acoustically in a country version which sounded so beautiful. hannon has always been a country singer and if you payed attention to MTV's Making the Band, you could see Shannon vocally auditioning a country song; which I don't blame her because country singing is definitely one of her strong attributes.

Deep down inside I pray to the heavens above Danity Kane will resurface to put out some more albums and take the music industry by storm...but until then we have their individual projects which I'm still trying to get used too. Take a look at Shannon perform her country version of "Damaged".

How do you feel about Danity Kane's individual careers?

New Music: Eniyyah "For The Record"

Remember back in July when I posted about New Jersey's next up and coming superstar Eniyyah Purvis? Well if you don't remember who she is then I suggest you click Introducing Eniyyah Purvis. Ever since her remix to Lil' Wayne's "How To Love", Eniyyah has been in the studio working on some new music. "For The Record" is Eniyyah's first official track an untitled EP scheduled to come out early next year. "For The Record" has this futuristic uptempo sound that is completely out of this world. The song is produced by Damar "Dutch" Beckett @SuperProducerdb and Eniyyah's vocals on this track go hard. With the lyric "now I'm on the run, out the web that you spun" clearly tells you this isn't just some boo who heartbreak song. "For The Record" may be the new empowerment song for females who are through with the bullSHIT their guy is putting them through. I mean hey, Eniyyah's not crying over a guy, she's basically giving her dude the TWO FINGERS.

New Music: Teairra Mari "Point of No Return" Mixtape

Everyone should know by now, I am a big Teairra Mari fan. Well a while back, I posted Teairra Mari is coming out with her debut EP entitled "Sincerely Yours" with the lead single leading up to the EP "My Lovin". "Sincerely Yours" will hit the Internet Market August 17th. Teairra Mari recently hooked up with DJ Drama and fixed us up a little treat before the EP. Something like a "Point of No Return" Listen & Download After The Jump.
