Happy New Years Eve 2010
Happy New Years Eve everyone! I hope you have a safe and fun night. If you're in the city play safe and drink safe! I can't believe how fast 2010 has gone by. I don't even remember anything except my Spring Semester of College. I guess the saying is true when they say "Time Flys By When You're Having Fun". I think about setting new goals and resolutions but they never fall through. I'm going to start with one resolution which is to become more healthy and working out. Okay, maybe that's two =) What are you new years resolution for 2011?
Throwback Friday - Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit)
The Black Eyed Peas new song "The Time (Dirty Bit)" may not be a throwback song, but it is a great song to end the 2010 year. The Black Eyed Peas is a throwback music group who been out since the 90's. Their incredible career has taken them into new heights and have sold out concerts everywhere. Their albums never disappoint so why not end the year with The Black Eyed Peas! Once you hear "The Time" you'll automatically know this is the right song to end the year. Enjoy!
Xbox : Kinect
I really have to blog about this gaming system. For Christmas, my little brother just got the Xbox 360 Kinect, which is a device that detects motion movements while playing video games, remote control hands free. It sounds confusing but once you play it, you'll see how it works. It's something very similar to the Nintendo Wii only thing is you aren't using a controller. Well people from playing this game, my whole upper body is sore.
The Kinect comes with a multitude of games that you can play that works out your entire body; legs, arms, and all. My brother and I were playing bowling, track and field, football, soccer, water raft, tennis, boxing, and even table tennis. Playing these games back to back for two days in a row, I really felt my upper body becoming so stiff and sore. The Kinect is a really good workout. Just think about it, if you own the Kinect you don't ever have to hit the gym again =)

R.I.P Teena Marie
Yesterday Afternoon We Lost Our Ivory Queen of Soul....Teena Marie. The Cause Of Death Is Still Unknown, But Any Cause Of Death Is Just Tragic. Teena Marie was just 54 yrs old! Sad To Pass Away So Wise, Young & Beautiful. I Really Didn't Know About Teena Marie, Until My Mother Started Playing Her Music Around Our Home, My Favorite Song Will Always Be "I Need Your Lovin''. I Swear I Think I'm Teena When I Sing The Song Away lol. It's Like Lately Towards The End Of The Year, We're Loosing The Most Important Music Pioneers To GOD. It's Not A Bad Thing, But It's Like Why So Soon. I Hope When I Become A Singer, I Can Remake My Favorite Song From Teena Marie And Make Her Proud. Homicidal Infatuation
HaHa, no everyone I'm not becoming a serial killer. I'm just infatuated with E!'s television program "E! Investigates", it's a show about sick, psycho & deranged people who kill for no reasonable cause. I've mostly been watching "Young Kids Who Kill" & "Rich Kids Who Kill". If you were to see and hear some of the stories they bring up, i'm most certain you're body will cringe throughout the whole program. I find it funny how I enjoy watching Homicidal programs on E! but I refuse to watch any "Law & Order" series. Maybe E! gives it a more dramatic feel lol. People Do Not Judge Me For This Obsession! I Have No Strong Bone In My Body, That Will Kill Anything Or Anyone! Am I The Only One Obsessed With These Horrifying Stories?

Throwback Friday - Mariah Carey "Double Christmas Dosage"
| All I Want For Christmas Is You |
Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Nothing starts and ends the Christmas Holiday better than listening to Mariah Carey's Christmas Album entitled "Merry Christmas". "Merry Christmas" was filled with a lot of your favorite Christmas tunes sung by the soulful songstress Mariah Carey. Some of my favorite songs on the album are; "Silent Night", "Jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child", "O Holy Night", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" and the unforgettable "All I Want For Christmas Is You". This is why today's Throwback Friday song goes out to our girl Mariah Carey for "All I Want For Christmas Is You". This video speaks Christmas in each and every way! PS. After The Jump There Is A Special Christmas Gift From Me To You :-) Enjoy!

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Is Over...
Today marks the end of the 17 year law that was passed by President Clinton and a Resistant Pentagon entitled "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is a reform to deny homosexuality into the military. If you were asked about your sexuality in the military and you answered gay or lesbian, then sadly you were dismissed from continuing to serve our dear country. I'm glad President Obama kept his word and went forth with signing the repeal to ban the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. The military shouldn't discriminate towards any type of U.S. Citizen. We are all family and those gay or straight both lend a helping hand to make the US a better place. This is just one step closer to building an equal world for you and me.
"'Don't ask, don't tell' is over, and you no longer have to sacrifice your integrity." It is a major victory for those who were discharged from the armed services on account of their sexuality. - President Obama

2010 Lunar Eclipse
Early this morning around 2:30 am - 3:40 am, I woke up from my sleep and hopped right onto Twitter. I then was seeing tweets of a Lunar Eclipse about to occur. I actually had the chance to really go outside to see the Eclipse, but I wasn't going outside at 2 in the morning to stand in the freezing cold to watch the Eclipse. How lazy was I lol? By the tweets I was reading, I can tell it was a fascinating moment in history. If you were one of those who actually witnessed the Eclipse in person, please let me know your experience and what did you think of it. I feel terribly bad for missing it. Let's hope next year I get to see it! -December 21st.

Tasty Tuesday: Classic Cheese Lasagna
Yummy, Yummy and Yummy. How good does this Classic Cheese Lasagna looks? For the remainder of the month, I'm actually posting holiday meals to Tasty Tuesday. This Lasagna recipe I got off of Martha Stewart's website. Must I say, I live for her home living and recipes. I think by now you know I'm a big pasta fanatic. I can basically live off of pasta for the remainder of my life...well no, not really lol. Anything with cheese, noodles, and meat you can sure bet I'm finishing the whole pan. This side main course was actually listed in Martha's meals for the holidays. Lasagna is such a great meal to cook up, when you're having a special dinner with the ones you love. I honestly do not know one person who doesn't love a good dish of Lasagna. You can view the recipe after the jump. Enjoy & Happy Holidays.

Meet The Boy Ciara!
Have you ever seen a guy that can dance just like R&B Entertainer Ciara? Well, I did and I know him very well. His name is Marquise, and boy can he dance! He uploaded a video on FaceBook reenacting Ciara's "Ride" video. He killed the whole dance and knew each move down to the core. Marquise to me is known to be Ciara's numero uno fan (#1 Fan). Actually, he loves Ciara so much I actually call him CiCi lol. This video is to die for btw. He's an amazing fan, friend and dancer! Ciara better take him on tour asap! Let me know what you think of Marquise and his "Ride" video?

I Pulled An All Nighter!
Sorry for not posting Throwback Friday post. The night before I had pulled an all nighter, due to a final exam paper and test I had to study for. I was up that Thursday night from 8:44 p.m. until the next day Friday at 11:45 a.m. I swear pulling all nighters is most common found within college students. Unfortunately, I was one of those students. No More All Nighters From Me!
