Workout Wednesday: Household Chores

I cried when I came across this picture right now! This is exactly what I feel like right now except the baby, well my dog is like my baby so okay. Today's Workout Wednesday is very different from the past other ones. It is the day before Thanksgiving, and this year we are having the holiday feast at my house. There is a multitude of cleaning throughout this house for the past 2/3 days. When I say cleaning up is a workout, it literally is a workout. This workout may be easy for those who really don't like to get up and exercise. If you ask me I'd rather workout than clean up lol. When cleaning and cooking you tend to move a lot and that causes you to burn calories. It's the little movements that you don't notice that will help you burn fat and calories. Obviously this is what I have been doing for the past day and I'm quite tired already. What do you consider an easy workout? Would you rather do chores than go to the gym? What does your cleaning up routine insist of?

Kardashian Konfidential Is Out Now!

It's here everyone! The moment we all have been waiting for, those Kardashian Girls just released their debut book "Kardashian Konfidential". It's their book about all things Kardashians, from what they like, wear, eat, never before seen pictures, stories that no one has heard up until now, love advice, and oh so many more. I'm proud of these three entrepreneurs, they have taken their last name and built one great empire. Just to think it all started with one little boutique in Calabasas, California. These girls are my inspiration and I inspire to work hard like them in my 20s so I can accomplish most of what they have done. You can get your copy of "Kardashian Konfidential" at any bookstore available. If the bookstore you enter doesn't have it, I say demand it! lol. The book also makes such a great stocking stuffer too! Enjoy the book as I know I am. :-) Congrats Kourtney, Kim and Khloe.

Tasty Tuesday: A Thanksgiving Special

Come spend Thanksgiving with Paula Deen and her sons in the kitchen. Well not exactly, but you can feel like you're in the kitchen with the southern chef, just by cooking one of her best Thanksgiving Holiday Recipes. Baldwin Hills

This weekend I have fufilled my fix by watching one of my favorite reality shows ever; "Baldwin Hills". "Baldwin Hills" was a reality based tv show on BET following several teens whose parent's were wealthy and some were not. "Baldwin Hills" is a city out in California, I would say a heavy population of the African-American culture. BET took the show of the air for some wrong reason, but it needs to come back on air. I enjoyed watching people of my kind and seeing what life is like for them over on the other side of the United States. However, I do have my favorites from the show but I will not care to share lol. I might be judged lol. Let's just say I love the person everyone loves to hate. Can you figure it out? Well you can watch episodes of Baldwin Hills on Bet.Com just like I did over the weekend. PINK FRIDAY- Nicki Minaj

If you haven't known...today is #PINKFRIDAY HOE! Today marks the biggest day of female rapper Nicki Minaj's life. Her debut album "PINK FRIDAY" is out in stores now. I must admit, I was never a big fan of Nicki Minaj when the bees were buzzing about her hardcore rapping/freestyle.

 I never knew who Nicki Minaj was, where she came from and who she was signed with. Nicki Minaj is from Queens, New York, born Onika Maraj grew up in the tough streets, with her mother and father (whom on her mixtapes & album talks about their troubles) and went to one of New York City's greatest performing arts school "LaGuardia Performing Arts School".  I read up on Nicki Minaj and how she would freestyle rap with some of her friends on corners and where ever people would listen. Nicki Minaj then ended up on a mixtape dvd and it somehow got in the hands of fame rapper Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne then called for Nicki Minaj and the next thing you know she was signed to his major record label "Young Money Records".The journey Nicki Minaj took to get to this day of releasing a debut album to the world wasn't a easy one. When she started working on her debut album about a year ago, songs were leaked then forcing Nicki to revamp to the studio and create tons of great material.

Nicki Minaj likes to call herself the "Harakjuku Barbie" and calls her fans Barbz & Ken. The reason I started to like Nicki Minaj was because of all the tracks she was on with some of my biggest and favorite music artist of all time. Nicki Minaj is known now for her crazy antics and changing of accents she does at any point of time. It's cute sometimes, but other times i'm like okay Nicki lol!  Anywho, I'm proud to be a Nicki Minaj. I guess I wasn't so into Nicki Minaj because I felt she was getting too cocky in the game and trying to overthrown some of my female rappers. What I learned is the entertainment business builds you up to be cocky and respected. Nicki was only staying true to herself and releasing good music and blessing people on their tracks.  I respect Nicki Minaj a lot and I'm proud that she can now share her incredible music with the world. 2010 Fashion Fall Trend: Sweaters

My last blog post, I've been telling you my dilemma with me not knowing the fall fashion trends. Well, lately I've discovered my own. So far for the fall, I've been wearing a lot of sweaters. I own about 3 right now in my closet, but I find them very cute to match it up with a cute scarf. I'm obsessed with scarves. Scarves has to be one of my many favorite fall fashion accessories right now. Sweaters are very dope to dress up with a nice jean or skinny jean, cool boots or chucks. I think if you're going to wear a Sweater you're going to automatically accessorize instantly. Jewelry is a good thing to add on, but not so much. This is my obsession so far and I hope to be enchanted with more lol.

2010 Fall Fashion Trends

I swear I've been out of the fashion loop since August. I haven't been apparel shopping ever since. With that being said, I do not even know what the fall trends are this season. All I know is I have my own fashion trend, but it's really not big because I don't have any. I'll tell you what my fashion trend is in my next blog post. But for now, can someone please tell me the fall trends for 2010? I'm going to die, if I don't get my behind up and start going to the malls or boutiques in New York City. Help! Help! Help!

Throwback Friday - R. Kelly "Trapped In The Closet"

Today's Throwback Friday is R. Kelly's "Trapped In The Closet" series. In 2007, R.Kelly took to the entertainment world by coming out with his own story telling song with twists and turns. There are 22 chapters in this musical story. R. Kelly's a great R&B singer and I must say "Trapped in the Closet" series took his career to no other. I never watched all 22 chapters, I think I stopped at like 13 or maybe 12 lol. However, today is the day where I will sit and watch all the chapters to see what happened in the end. All I can remember is, cheating, killing, backstabbing, secrets, midgets, police chase, and how you doing. Check after the jump to view the "Trapped in the Closet" series.

This past weekend my best friend showed me a few YouTube videos that had something to do with how good you are aware at seeing things. Without trying to say too much, I will give you a little synopsis of what these AWARENESS TEST are like. Basically, you are going to play the video, it will give you instructions, follow exactly what the instructions tell you to do BUT also be AWARE of the whole video and at the end see how unaware you really were. Sounds easy right? well it's not. There are tons and tons of AWARENESS TEST on YouTube you can view. Last night I came across Murder Mysteries & Riddles, therefore becoming addicted to the games. I'm really starting to believe it's the little things that keeps your brain working the hardest. I'll post some of these AWARENESS TEST, Murder Mysteries and Riddles after the jump for you to do. Lol, I swear FaceBook Games are addicting. Last Friday, I was introduced to one of the most addicting game to ever reach FaceBook. "Jersey Shore" game is a virtual fighting game where you battle people for points, status, and just pure fun. You can beat the crap out of your favorite Jersey Shore member or simply beat the crap out of the person you hated. The game is very funny and cute. They also have a G.T.L area in the game where your Jersey Shore character gets to go to the gym, tan, and get their laundry done  while making money off of it. The more fights you win, the more your strength, defense, and stamina goes up; causing you to beat the crap out of anyone who challanges to fight you. Throwback Friday: TLC - Creep

Today's Throwback Friday is no other than one of the biggest selling girl groups of all time, TLC's "Creep". TLC was a big female group of the 1990's and continuing to still sell albums in the 21st Century. "Creep" was on of my favorite videos from the trio. The colors, dancing, and the lyrics captured me in deeply. It's so sad one of TLC's member Lisa Left-Eye Lopez has passed away. TLC was a phenomanel group who's sound was pure, genuine, uplifting, and sometimes about women empowerment. "Creep" talks about a person in a failing relationship, and no other way to remain happy is by creeping to a person who can give that love and affection needed. I mean seriously who never had these thoughts about creeping? Relationships are like board games now a days; just for fun and non realistic. I miss TLC and their unremarkable music. Pee-Wee Herman on Broadway

I DIE! I absolutely love and still love Pee-Wee Herman. I grew up watching "The Pee-Wee Herman Show" and "The Pee-Wee Herman Movies". Pee-Wee Herman is such the ultimate entertainer and no matter what he always makes you feel like a kid. I'm ecstatic that he's on Broadway doing "The Pee-Wee Herman Show". Once I heard the news, I already knew i'm going to see the show either if I have to drag my mother or my best friend. Woohoo! Go Pee-Wee and all the imaginary world characters, can't wait to see you! Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday Album Preview

So you all know, i'm really not the biggest Nicki Minaj fan. However, songs from her upcoming debut album "Pink Friday" has just leaked and I can't wait to purchase the album. I'm really loving the preview's so far. Nicki's album really sounds like she took her time with each song and produced a real genuine Hip-Hop album. Everyone meet Lil' Pito. I don't know him personally yet, but I was introduced to him by a friend of mines. One of my girlfriends showed me some of Lil Pito's YouTube videos and they are to die for. Lil Pito has so much personality, he really needs his own realty series asap! Not only is Lil Pito entertaining, he can also sing and dance his ass off. I've had to watch his videos like 10million x's. I need a friend like him in my life seriously lol! Well you can watch some of his videos after the jump, you will fall in love just like I did.
