It's Up To The Guy To Choose Which Side He'll Listen To In Befriending The Popular Girl In His Class.

Today Toni Braxton sat with Wendy Williams and talked everything from her Lupus illness,  two sons, Braxton Family Values season 3, new LifeTime movie airing tomorrow night titled Twist of Faith, pulling the plug on music and DATING.

Are The Braxton's Way More Popular Than The Kardashians?

THOSE BRAXTONS HAS US WRAPPED AROUND OUR FINGERS!!!

Though both shows are on two totally opposite cable network stations Braxton Family Vaules (WEtv) and Keeping Up With The Kardashians (E!), people just can't seem to get enough of the reality TV families. The Kardashian sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe all bring in ratings with their over the top high profiled drama while songstresses Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar brings drama, love, laughter and humility as each sister tries to differentiate themselves from just being labeled Toni Braxton's sister. 

The shows are the number one most watched shows on their network pulling in millions of viewers each week as a new episode airs. Keeping Up With The Kardashians is now on its 8th season while Braxton Family Values is gearing up to gives us their third season airing March 14th. Spin-offs have been created from both shows like we have had Kourtney & Khloe: Take Miami (seasons 1 and 2), Khloe & Lamar, Kourtney and Kim: Take New York (seasons 1 and 2) and Kourtney and Kim: Take Miami which are all doing tremendously well and on the Braxton side of things, the breakout star, Tamar and her multi-millionaire husband, manager and record executive Vincent Herbert have got their spin off Tamar and Vince which have brought in a whopping 2 million viewers last year.

Braxton Family Values just might be the new hit reality TV family to be because WEtv has ordered 24 hour long episodes for the third season which is way more than the Kardashians had their third season (12 episodes). The Kardashian empire is greater of the Braxton's but the numbers show and they do not lie, people are more drawn to the Braxtons more than anything. I love and enjoy both shows and families but I could relate to the Braxtons more than I could of the Kardashians. There never seems to be anything fishy when it comes to the Braxtons, they let the cat out of the bag as to when you hear the Kardashians strip down to 100, we're left thinking is this a publicity stunt or is this for fake?!

Hot97's Love & DRAMAVILLE?

Looks as though fellow Love & Hip-Hop NY castmate Joe Budden isn't too happy with all the promo interviews one of his castmates is doing. Joe Budden decided to crash Hot97's interview with cast members Consequence and Jen the Pen to discuss an issue that two rappers in the game would argue about ... "KEEP MY NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH"!. 

You would have thought this was an episode of Bad Girls Club, but there was no hair puling, back stabbing type of interaction, instead the two rappers decided to talk it out like grown gentleman. There seems to be some misunderstanding between the two and Joe decided to take matters into his own hands by confronting Consequence via Hot97 interviews. 

I don't even know what the talk was maybe those of you who know about rap feuds can fill me in. Poor Jen is just sitting staring at the surprising UN-SCRIPTED confrontation that just occurred. I wonder if Hot97 had something to do with this though. How did Joe Budden know Consequence and Jen were doing an interview with Hot97? Wait better yet, who told Joe the location?! Smh, whatever the drama is or was all we know is that we were left to "HAVE A GREAT DAY".

In case you missed last night's jaw dropping Ravens vs. 49ners Super Bowl XLVII game, you might have to catch that on DVD; BUT here's one play performance you can catch here! 

Beyonce performed during Halftime and left fans even the haters wanting more. The ICON dubbed female Michael Jackson took center stage as she gave a performance of a lifetime (one that will go down in the history of Halftime Performances). Tweets skyrocketed to about 268 million as Beyonce took the stage to leave people wondering if they were at a Beyonce Concert or the Super Bowl. 

Of course, Beyonce couldn't perform by herself, she invited fellow Destiny's Child members Kelly and Michelle on stage as they performed their hits like "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women". The greatest surprise of all was having all three members perform one of Beyonce's dance anthems "Single Ladies", the girls looked so gorgeous on stage and took the choreography to the ultimate extreme intricacy.

GOT JESUS: Dinner At Jamina's!

Nothing's more fun than hanging with friends enjoying a nice meal. Last week, I had the honor of spending some time with one of my newest friends, Jamina West. I met Jamina very randomly at a bus stop in the town that I live and she introduced herself to me even adding she was new in town; moving from Georgia to New Jersey. Of course, I had to befriend this beautiful young woman and who would have thought we'd kick it off tremendously. 

I went to her house and made her cook din din for me (i'm such the ultimate fat person), with the limited options we had available at such short notice Jamina decided to make the most amazing and delicious Parmesan Chicken w/ mixed Wheat Noodles. With doing so the remainder of the night, I got to know Jamina much better on a personally level as well as experienced some of her many TALENTS! You all will be SHOCKED at what this girl can DO!

Our Friend, Martin [Movie]

In honor of MLK Day, I came across one of my favorite Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. historical movies. I remember always watching the movie in January on his birthday or his day such as today and Black History Month. This was a film that perfectly told the story of Dr. King and his significance in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. 

The movie is about an African-American boy who could care less about the importance of Dr. King's legacy and history, goes back in time where he comes face to face with segregation, the mal-treatment African-American's faced against racism, the unjust, the KKK (Klu Klux Klan) and the mal treatment between his friends. A very engaging cartoon movie that explains the Civil Rights Movement to young children much clearer. 

THANK GOD I found the movie on YouTube, now I can watch the movie back to back until I own the DVD so that I can show to my kids in the future; But for now I will show the film to my young nephews in hopes they understand the amazing brave story of Dr. King and understand how one man sacrificed his life everyday for a chance to become equal. The movie also features a star studded cast!!!

My Open Letter To Dr. King "Thank You"

I just want to say THANK YOU Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! THANK YOU for a dream that you envisioned knowing it would come true, just didn't know when it would come true. It was your bravery and perseverance that I can stand hand in hand side by side people outside of my color and race and not be judged or harassed. I wasn't born during your time of the Civil Rights Movement, but growing up in school I learned the importance of your journey and fight non stop every year but it is deep within my heart I understand why you did what you did. I LOVE YOU. THANK YOU. 

I Know you're smiling down how everyone of different creed and color are now coming together as brothers and sisters, now fighting for security from earth's harms. It is because of you, I am proud to say I have an African-American President and it is also because of you I can now VOTE and continue my education secondary and beyond. I am more than grateful to have my middle name named after you. I LaTroy Martin Watson, adore the man you have become here on earth and in heaven. Your legacy and significance to history will and can never be forgotten. THANK YOU for fighting hard for my future and beyond.

Throwback Friday - Tamar Braxton "If You Don't Wanna Love Me"

This is for all the new and old #Tamartians out there!!!

With all the new promo going around for Tamar Braxton, I thought it be great to take a stroll down memory lane and pull up one of my favorite Tamar Braxton songs when she first went solo back in 2000. Her ballad "If You Don't Wanna Love Me" is and will always be one of my top favorite songs. 

I'm not too fond of the video merely because the minks and all white outfit she had wore in the video was an atrocity (Sorry Tamar LOVE YOU). However, this solo era turned out to be a flop, but Tamar is back and better than before. I mean it wouldn't be a throwback if I didn't bring back this video right? Tamar was a baby then, she knows better now lol.

The rounds of promoting Kourtney and Kim Take Miami are non stop as they hit every daytime talk show, primetime show, radio shows and more. This particular promo run with David Letterman had everyone in tears when the littlest elder sister Kourtney, well gave a touching low blow (OKAY STATED A TRUE FACT) about her sister Kim's HUSBAND Kris Humphries.
