This weeks Instagram of the Week goes to one of my male best friends, De'Mar(@ProperlyLaced). I thought i'd give him a shout out because he's one of the realest people you'll come across on any social networking site. He never fronts on his photos, he's a big sneaker head so he usually just takes pics of sneakers and things of that nature as well as some photos of him having the time of his life (this boy does PARTY)! You'd have a nice follower if you follow De'Mar on Instagram, especially you LADIES!!!

Today is also his Birthday, so I'd like to wish De'Mar a H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y, May God Bless You With Many More, And Be Careful With Those Nestea Shots!!! Oh, my friend want's to sing Happy Birthday to You!

Gossip Girl Obsession: Season 6 Episode 1-3

I'm seriously mad that this will be the last season of CW's hit show Gossip Girl. I've been watching ever since season one and their ending the show on their sixth season with only ten exclusive episodes.

Season six started on October 8th and so far I have missed the first three episodes due to my Monday nights being occupied by late night work study at school. I wish I could watch online while it premieres but by that time, i'm already en route home. So far I caught up with episode one and I fell in love immediately with the plot.

My favorite characters are bffs Serena (played by Blake Lively) and Blair (played by Leighton Meester), of course I would describe myself more of a Serena than Blair. You would have thought i'd be Gossip Girl because i'm a blogger; that's not the case i'm not a gossip writer.

I'm not going to tell you what the show is about if you haven't watched, sorry to say but you are def six seasons too late (you can catch up by buying the season dvds). However, if you are a fan of Gossip Girl and miss episodes to as well, I will post the three episodes after the jump so you can watch with me and comment in the comments section.

THANK GOD FOR HULU & CW.TV!

Let's Get Real: Has Anyone Ever Been Under The Knife (Cosmetic Surgery)

Has anyone ever thought to get cosmetic surgery? Or do you know anyone who has went under the knife?

I'd love to hear your stories or someone you know who has been under the knife. I'm all for people and their decision to get cosmetic surgery and I don't discriminate or judge in any form. Cosmetic surgery has been an option of mine for some time now. I would love to take out the fat in my face to have a more define cheekbone area as well as getting liposuction.

I'm not 100% sure this is something I want to go forth with, but it's just an option that's up in the air for right now. I don't know when i'll actually consider doing it, maybe after I read stories from people whom I know have got it.

I'm not going to base my decision on high profiled cosmetic surgery; only because i'm not a celebrity and I don't have that amount of money to pay for a procedure. Yet alone, pay for the best surgeon in the country.

If you or know anyone who's been under cosmetic surgery, please share your or that person's story with me.

Tasty Tuesday - Crispy Phyllo Wrapped Hot Dog Mummies

It's getting close to Halloween and I know some or most of you plan terrific big Halloween parties but kind of run out of ideas for refreshments or treats. As always searching on Food Network Online, I came across this tasteful creative Halloween treat dish that seemed just right for those scary parties. Food Network Channel's own chefs came up with Crispy Phyllo Wrapped Hot Dog Mummies to tastefully haunt our tastebuds.

It's cute to see the little hotdogs wrapped up like mummies then poppped into our mouths for a wonderful  treat. I never had or heard of the hot dog mummy wraps until now; this looks really good. This meal is perfect for afternoon snacks or can be served as little party platters when throwing a big Halloween event. When having holiday parties, I suggest you go all out creatively to match your festive event from the food, decorations even your costume, stick with a theme though, don't just throw scary everywhere!

Okay enough of me blabbing, I'm getting hungry, let's learn how to make this dish. I bring to you today's Tasty Tuesday Halloween treat Crispy Phyllo Wrapped Hot Dog Mummies. Read for the recipe after the jump.

Tamar and Vince - Monday & Friday (Theme Song)

America's favorite reality tv couple Vince and Tamar Braxton-Herbert have finally released the full audio of their hit reality tv show 'Tamar and Vince' theme song "Monday and Friday". The theme song is only played short throughout the the intro, back from commercial and ending of the episodes.

"Monday and Friday" tells the back and forth typical love/hate relationship between two people, wanting to strangle one another like we all want to do Monday, but then again back to loving your significant other like we do on Friday. Both Vince and Tamar lend their vocals on the song. This song is very sweet, catchy and the perfect way to describe Tamar and Vince's relationship (from what we see on tv).

Listen to "Monday and Friday" and let me know what you think!

WWE 13': Live The Revolution

I haven't played video games in a long time (really a long time). When it came to video games, the only games you could catch me playing were WWE Smackdown vs. Raw and The Sims. All that stopped once I excelled in high school and then on to college; actually reality tv stopped me from being a gamer.

This November, WWE has decided to release its 13 wrestling game that revolves around past and present story lines that you can relive again and again with your favorite wrestler. For example: You can chose Mankind and relive his vicious Hell in the Cell match against The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and his power saga against Vince McMahon, Triple H and the Degeneration X, The Rock and his road to being one of the greatest wrestlers on earth.

Take a look at the trailer below:

Double Dosage: Nicki Minaj & Cassie "The Boys" + "Come On A Cone"

I may be a little late, but I just caught up with Nicki Minaj and Cassie's duo single "The Boys". The two sexy women can be seen in bright bubble pink colors dancing with each other singing/rapping about the real truth about BOYS. I'm not going to lie, the video reminds me of something like "Barbie Girl" most famously a one hit wonder by pop group Aqua. However, the video was released last week and it's one of my favorites; so I'd like to share it for those who haven't seen the dynamic duo's PINK-TACULAR performance.

The Houstons 'On Our Own' Reality Show & Episode 1

Though in just a few short months, it will be the one year anniversary of legendary entertainer Whitney Houston's death. For now, it hasn't been a year yet and the Houston's (Bobbi Kristina, Gary, Pat, Rayah, Cissy) and Bobbi Kristina's God-Brother/Fiancé Nick Gordon have all teamed up with LifeTime to create a reality show based upon the after life of their beloved Whitney's death.

I'm shocked the reality show was even taken place, due to the Houston's being so vividly private about their lives. I would have thought the Houston family would want to at least live their first year griefs behind closed doors. However, the reality show revolves around Bobbi Kristina and her coping of her mom's death from what we see in the super trailer. Like any other reality show there of course is mild drama, based on Bobbi Kris and her relationship with God-Brother/Fiancé Nick Gordon and her decision to break into the entertainment industry.

Take A Look Here:

New Jersey Nightlife: Stelton Lanes

So for those who don't know, I'm a Jersey Boy! Along with living in New Jersey, some who live oustide of the state, may assume New Jersey is just a boring suburban residential environment where you'd get lost in a second if you chose to run to the store. For those who think that, you're def WRONG!!!

New Jersey has its share of a fun nightlife; well I can only speak for the teens and college students. Every week there could be more two to three parties thrown by party promoters, clubs or lounges. Though Jersey is a BIG STATE, you'd have to narrow it down to what nightlife is the funnest. Well, if you can only narrow it down to the urban areas; which are now taking over the real suburban areas of New Jersey

Urban New Jersey differs from Jersey Shore Partygoers!!!

The best nightlife parties are thrown by HSLX & GURU (a party promoting duo team who is respected EVERYWHERE). Whether it's a HSLX (Hood Star Luxury) party or GURU, everyone knows they're bound to have a good time. Reason being, they bring in the biggest crowds, book the hottest DJs, over capacitate their venues and even bring in big celebrity big names to stop by.

One of the popular Jersey nightlife parties to attend is Stelton Lanes. Stelton Lanes is a bowling alley by day, dance battle royal party by night. You can catch any and everybody lined up at Stelton Lanes on a Friday night just to enjoy good music, friends and get a couple of numbers or two, four, hell maybe eight! Stelton Lanes is located in Piscataway, New Jersey and if you end up going you will find outrageous fashions, captivating guys, females whom you'll be playing EYE-SEX with for a minute, new Jersey dance routines and much more.

If you don't believe me take a look:

Though it's been a while since I've been out on the scene, but sometimes I do think about attending the parties just to get a good laugh in or to see what everyone's listening to nowadays. I will make my return soon, though I need to live my 20s up like it's my last before my career takes control of me...YOLO!

If interested about attending one of HSLX & GURU events; you can personally Tweet Tajh (HSLX) and Carver (GURU) for upcoming events @:

Do You Have Any Weird OCD's?

So we all know what OCD is right? Well if not then here's the definition:

"Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead you to do repetitive behaviors (compulsions). With obsessive-compulsive disorder, you may realize that your obsessions aren't reasonable, and you may try to ignore them or stop them. But that only increases your distress and anxiety. Ultimately, you feel driven to perform compulsive acts in an effort to ease your stressful feelings." - MayoClinic

Okay so now that we understand OCD, I was wondering if any of you readers out there suffer from OCD? I know I surely do. I'd like to share some of my OCD's with you and see if we have similarities with ours.

So here are a few of my OCD's:

1.While washing of dishes I frequently take a towel and dry my hands after every 5 utensils or dish.
2.When cooking I must have the right pot top on a pot i'm using.
3.My measurements have to be precise when cooking.
4.I have to full screen every video I watch online and make sure
the menu bar or curser isn't showing.
5.I need album art on all of my music on iTunes; sometimes songs/albums don't have it's cover so I go crazy over that.
6.If interrupted by someone while i'm listening to a song, I won't press pause; after the conversation I will replay the song.
7. When putting on deodorant I count my applies to 7 under each arm; sometimes I go to 11.

There are a lot more, but these are the ones I'm most anal about!
Share some of your OCD's with me!

New Album: Brandy "Two Eleven"

Last week Brandy's sixth LP Two Eleven dropped all over the world and this album decides whether Brandy is relevant in the game or not. It's been 4 years since we last heard a Brandy LP and with Two Eleven, Brandy created a new sound and totally had control of this album.

I was skeptical about buying this album Two Eleven, due to the last albums she had weren't topping the charts and old Brandy fans weren't receptive of the material. To tell the truth, there hadn't been a bomb album from Brandy since Full Moon which was her third album released back in 2002.

After great reviews on Twitter and two chopping smash singles "Put It Down Feat. Chris Brown" and "Wildest Dreams" I decided to take to iTunes and purchase the album myself. As always I buy the deluxe, after sitting through the album the first time, I really wasn't feeling it. I thought to myself, okay maybe If I listen to it a few times when I'm not so busy i'll grow to love it and that's what exactly happened!

Two Eleven, is very different from previous Brandy records, she gets more raw and personal on this LP than her previous LP's. Though we may not hear 90s Brandy again, fans can expect winning ballads with her soft raspy voice. What makes the album even better is by the past heavy promotion Brandy has been doing to support the album as well as killer performances on 106 & Park, The Wendy Williams Show and even concert events around the country.

If you haven't picked up Two Eleven, I recommend you do! I will be doing a video review of Two Eleven soon; so stay tuned!

Are You A Lyric Or Beat Listener?

When it comes to music...put it straight forward we all love it. We have our favorite artists, genre, albums and songs. But, did you ever think about what gravitates you to liking a certain song? Could it be the beat or is it the lyrics?

I remember having a conversation with my BFF about why do we fall in love with music so much. My BFF assumed I'm someone who looks for a good beat in a song and it's my favorite and while she listens to the lyrics of a song and that's when she decides whether or not she'll jam out to it or not.

However, she was right about me to a certain extent. I do love music, but if the beat isn't what I feel I can sit and feel vibes from, then I'm not listening. I'm usually looking for a song that challenges me to sing it as well as high notes in a song. Most of the time I'm looking for mid-tempo songs.

My BFF actually listens to the lyrics of song in which she can either relate to what an artist is singing about or she feels the song has a powerful message which is enjoyable to sing. My BFF is actually a pretty hard person to please when it comes to music; not only does she think outside the box but she analyzes it completely to the beat of a song; mind you she has no producing skills whatsoever; but I always value her opinions and views.

It's okay to be either a beat lover or simply a person obsessed with lyrics. That's what makes us unique individuals who start to have an eclectic music library. I would like to know especially now-a-days since the music industry is failing so badly; how do you know when you'll love a song; is it the beat or the lyrics?!

Coming Soon: Carrie (2013)

The trailer for the 1976 remake of Carrie was released last week. The remake isn't set to come to theaters until Spring 2013, but we hope the movie sticks to its original format and scare the living daylights out of us like it did me when I was younger. The movie stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie White a young teen with telekenesis powers and Julianne Moore who will play her demonic possessed spiritual mother Margaret White. The short trailer clip surely gives us the feeling this will be the best chiller movie of 2013.

Drake A Howard University Student?

Well at least that's what he wants Howard University students to consider. This weekend was HBCU's (Historical Black College University) Howard University's Homecoming which filled the campus with a plethora of events and performances by popular artists such as 2 Chainz and Drake

During 2 Chainz set as a surprise he brought out Drake to perform his verse on their hit single "No Lie". In doing so, Drake also took the stage to perform "HYFR" (Hell Yeah Fucking Right) and "The Motto"...YOLO!

After Drake's performance, he took a second to bless the audience  with one of his many accomplishments in his life and that was recently going back to high school and earning his diploma. Drake shared these words with the audience:

"You know about two minutes ago, I made the decision…For the last four months I went back to high school and I graduated high school, so you see what my campaign is about this year cause I went straight to the bookstore. I’m trying to come to school with y’all. I wanna know if you accept."
Congrats to Drake and his many successful ongoing establishments. We hope he does further his education as some of his entertainment colleagues has done such as; Tyra Banks, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tatyana Ali, J Cole, Talib Kweli, David Banner and many more.

Today's top headlining entertainment news story just so happens to be the announcement of Beyonce headlining next year 2013's SUPERBOWL Halftime Show!

Everybody who watches the SuperBowl knows the most anticipated moment is the Halftime Show where some of the biggest stars perform for 15mins or so...an artist's Halftime Performance can either break or make their career in the future. The [Not So] Girly Girl...Tomboys are GIRLS Too!

My BFF Britany's Blog!
Hey my fellow followers reading this right now! I have a blog I would like for you all to check out. My BFF Britany has decided to create a blog for those girls who are Tomboys but want to start dipping and dabbing into the Girly Girl World; hence her blog name The [Not So] Girly Girl

Britany throughout our high school years has always been a jeans, t-shirt and retro Jordan kind of girl with either a cute ponytail or bun when she's not lazy. Britany also participated in cheerleading but she refused to dress girly girl; except in the cute uniforms; other than that she refused to dress the part.

As Britany realized in her undergrad years, being a cheerleader in college meant having to play the part. Britany gave in and decided to experiment in makeup (lip stick, eye shadowmascara and the other cool works). Britany grew slowly to love the effects of being a girly girl

Now at the young womanly age of 23, Britany was focused this past summer on trying different makeup products, haircare and even changing her wardrobe. The drastic change I saw Britany perform was maintaining her nails and feet every week. Britany is really serious about becoming a girly girl

Enough blabber about how awesome my BFF is! In Britany's blog she will guide girls who were just like her in the tomboy phase in recommending fantastic makeup products, different hairstyles and even most importantly skin care

Doesn't matter if you're a female or male; you can learn a little  or a lot of what Britany has to offer on her blog posts; which she updates daily. I'd like you all to check it out and tell her what you think or how much so you can relate to her.

Has The Word BRAVE Been Taken Way Out Of Character?

If you haven't already heard, African-American/Mexican actress Stacey Dash (most notable for her role in the fashion 90s movie "Clueless") came out last week stating she was now endorsing Senator Mitt Romeny in the 2012 presidency campaign election. This major news caused an uproar in the African-American and minority communities.

Stacey Dash received negative backlash through her Twitter page (@REALStaceyDash), blog sites and wherever citizens who felt the need to comment on Dash's decision. On October 10th, Stacey Dash sat wit Piers Morgan to discuss the harmful tweets and social media threats she's received since her coming out of supporting Senator Mitt Romney and his campaign. Stacey Dash simply states "We're All Entitled To Our  Opinions" in hopes to backup her decision. Dash is 100% Right and those who gave her one hell of a backlash were WRONG!

During the interview, Piers Morgan asks Stacey Dash, if either Senator Romney has reached out to her after she made her statement and Dash basically resonded saying "No she hasn't heard from Romney, but Vice President in running Paul Ryan had reached out and said it was a BRAVE thing she has chosen to do". Hmm...BRAVE. Take a look at a short 3 minute excerpt  below:

Undiscovered Talent

So I bet you didn't know I sang. Well, not professionally...YET! But I do have aspirations of becoming a singer. I've been singing since I was 6yrs old; I discovered my love for singing during my sixth birthday party, Batman Themed and I ditched all my friends and family and had gone in my room to watch Disney's The Little Mermaid. "Part Of Your World" came on and I just remember singing the song so beautifully that I felt a connection with my voice and my spirit (goosebumps). Ever since then I've been singing!

I've did the whole reality tv talent competition shows (American IdolThe X-Factor) but I just wasn't quite lucky enough to make it to Hollywood. I guess it wasn't my time yet; but I still sing so I guess I'll get discovered when I will. Though, the music industry sucks right about now. For a while now, pop singer and X-Factor judge Demi Lovato's new single "Give Your Heart A Break" has been playing constantly in my mind and I just connected so well with the lyrics I just had to sing it. The only thing about this song...it's a tough song to perfect!!!

This weekend, I sat in my room and over and over practiced the song until I got the keys and pitch right, not to perfection yet, but I'm getting there. I thought i'd share with you guys a little of what I sang. I recorded a video and did what millions of others do...UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE BABY!!!!

Check It Out! I Hope You All Enjoy :-D!

Kim Kardashian's Facial Transformation?

I recently came across StyleBlazer's blog post about Kim Kardashian's facial transformation over the years she's been in the limelight. StyleBlazer post Kim Kardashian's family has never opted out in speaking publicly about their under the knife procedures which include breast augmentation and facelifts.
