Fossil Watch My Favorite Accessory

I really don't do accessories, but when I do its probably for a moment or two. Right now i'm really obsessed with my moms vintage Fossil watch. I think the best accessory to make an outfit is a watch. Fossil is a big known brand for products that produce everything. How cute does the watch look on me though lol? I feel very important when I wear something on my wrists. It's a habit, I always have on a rubberband or Sillyband at sometime. 

Christopher Brutus is Long Island Flash

Here hails a young inspiring rapper from Long Island, New York by the name of Christopher Brutus; but you can call him Long Island Flash. I don't know much about this guy expect his lyrical flow is dope and his songs that he puts out on Twitter and YouTube are catchy and good. I met Long Island Flash via Twitter and once I saw he tweet links to his YouTube page of him rapping, I had to take a listen. He's very entertaining and what I like about him is that he doesn't rap about the same tired "i'm trying to do better and move up out the hood". Nobody wants to hear that all the time, people want to listen to something different. This is exactly why I like Long Island Flash's music, it's different the hooks are brilliantly written by himself and he reminds me of T.I. with a New York Swag. R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor

Today is such a sad and upsetting day for everyone across the world even in Tinsel Town aka Hollywood. The world has lost another world renaud Hollywood ICON, Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor passed away early this morning due to congestive heart failure, the leading up to hear death was also caused by other health problems which she fought till this day. I may not know a lot about Elizabeth Taylor, but from what I do know is that she was truly one in a million. Her spirit, heart and soul was always 100% lovable. Elizabeth Taylor, was a muse to a lot of people. Her fashion style was incredibly gifted; whereas only GOD can grant one person in each decade with the gift of style. The world will never forget Elizabeth Taylor =).

Wishful Wednesday...

The middle of the week is here and you know what day it is =). Today is Wishful Wednesday the day in your life where you can wish for anything you want to come true. Once again I'm going to say this, there is nothing with having a wish and wanting it to come true. Whatever you dream or wish for if you believe in GOD and have FAITH then it will come true. Sounds cheesy but it's very accurate. Some of my wishes are simple and some are just out of this world lol, but I always have FAITH; so i'm hoping my life falls into place one by one. I'm not going to continue to blab, so read after the jump what my wish of the day is =).

Tasty Tuesday: Macho Nachos

Yesterday I tried my hardest to make Nachos when I came home from school. Let's just say it didn't go quite as planned lol. I used fake shredded cheese, I thought tomato sauce was the same as salsa and I forgot to add the sour cream =(. Big disaster of the year so far. I don't know what got over me to even mess up the easiest snack dish ever lol. Do not judge me everyone! Thank the Lord I found the delicious greatest Nacho recipe from no other than Food Networks' own Paula Deen. I've posted some recipes from Paula Deen that are very good. I love her cooking and her meals always apply to my hunger. So today's Tasty Tuesday meal is Paula Deen's "Macho Nachos".  Check the meal after the jump. Bon' Appetite'!

AT&T Buys T-Mobile

Okay, yesterday I caught news that mobile provider AT&T just brought out another mobile provider
T-Mobile for $39 billion dollars. Is this crucial or what?! I want to know what is going to happen with all
T-Mobile customers and how their service is going to become of now. I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer since the Sidekick II days and even though; okay most of the time the company and I bump heads i'm kind of iffy about this whole ordeal. AT&T from what I heard have sky rocketing prices on their plans but on the good side they have better service to whereas T-Mobile has a bad service coverage and their price plans are very affordable.

People idk what's going to happen or what's going to become of but i'll keep you updated =). Let me know your input on AT&T buying T-Mobile?

Spring Break Week

Sorry for the week of not posting anything :(. I literally was on Spring Break :). I had to make the best of it and I decided to stray away from the blog. I spent my spring break with my BFF Britany, who I love dearly with all my heart and when we get together we always have a good time. I wonder what other schools besides my college was on spring break. If I can really remember what we did then I would be more than gladly to tell you what we did; but I can only remember two things lol. How bout' this, lets just say what happens on Spring Break stays in Spring Break =). 

Throwback Friday - Notorious BIG feat. 112 "Sky's The Limit"

TGIF!!! This week has been such a crazy rush and I'm glad to finally relax. To end the week, I decided for Throwback Friday i'm going to choose a Notorious BIG/Biggie Smalls song. March 9th marked the anniversary of his death back in 1997. I mean if you don't know who BIGGIE was then your knowledge about Rap/Hip Hop music is a zero. Biggie's life was cut short due to a east coast/west coast fued that got out of hand. There's a movie on him if you're not familiar with the rapper. He was one of the best top lyricist of the mid 90's until his death. His music is still played everywhere, although we will never forget the legend who blessed us with lyrical flows.

I chose the song "Sky's The Limit" mainly because the song has such a powerful impact on life. It's a song about never giving up and looking up to greater things in life. This is one of my favorite BIG songs ever. I also love the R&B group 112 on the track. I love how the four guys mixed blended their voices together to create one powerful soulful group. The music video is one of thee' best music videos of ALL TIME! It's so cute and funny seeing little kids pretend to be BIG, Diddy, Lil' Kim, 112 and many more...

Tasty Tuesday: Kelly Killoren Bensimon's "Blueberry Banana Hearty Fruit Shake"

Hello my fellow blog viewers and friends, today is Tasty Tuesday. The day where I get to post some amazing dishes and recipes from all over. Today I decided to do a visual recipe; something easy to follow step by step. Tasty Tuesday presents Kelly Killoren Bensimon's Blueberry Banana Hearty Fruit Shake.

You guys should be familiar with Kelly Bensimon, I talked about her in one of my previous blog posts where she hosted a float for New York City's Gay Pride Event. If you haven't seen the blog post then let me catch you up. Kelly Bensimon is a world renaud model mother of two and former co-star of BRAVO's hit reality TV show franchise The Real Housewives of New York.

I am always inspired by the YouTube videos Kelly Bensimon puts out. They widely talk about a lot of things such as; exercise, charity work, her home life, great recipes, wardrobing and getting a birds eye view of what Kelly does when the cameras are off. Kelly recently uploaded a short quick video on her favorite morning breakfast fruit shake. The blueberry banana yogurt concoction looks so yummy, I just had to make it my Tasty Tuesday delight.

Must Love Dogs

I have literally found my favorite dog and owner couple. Everyone say hello to Bethenny Frankel and her precious baby Cookie. Actually, not only am I obsessed with the two but they act just like how me and my dog Tokyo would act. Bethenny treats Cookie like she is the queen of the world and although I may not give Tokyo all that power, I still know how to make Tokyo feel very much important in my life. I recently came across Bethenny's YouTube page and saw a video of Bethenny giving Cookie these delightful treats and it was such the cutest thing to see Cookie eat a carrot and popcorn =). Also there's a video where Bethenny is pretending to be the voice of Cookie, telling all of YouTube land her diet regime after the holidays and how she plans to get back in shape. Hopefully I can find a video of my dog and I. I'm telling you,  Once you see us you will see the similarities Bethenny share in the unconditional love we give our pooches. =)

Throwback Friday - LL Cool J - Doin' It

Ladies Love Cool J, but for short we call him LL Cool J. I mean wouldn't it be nice to just end the week with one of LL's hit songs "Doin' It"? It's a very cold and windy Friday night so ladies and some gentleman if you'd,  like warm up to "Doin' It" haha. I remember I was so young when this song came out in the mid 90's, but I swore I knew what this one was talking about lol. Who doesn't love LL Cool J? March is here everyone! Britney Spears seventh studio album "Femme Fatale" comes available to us March 29th. Her first single "Hold It Against Me" went double platinum on the iTunes chart. I can't wait for this album to come out. I mean who doesn't love Britney Spears? My Silly, Crazy, And Fantastic Friends

I just wanted to take the time out to dedicate this blog post to some pictures of my wild and crazy friends. I love how different they choose to be and they are wild free. I've known some of these friends for a long time now and some I just met this under a year but, I'm glad to have them in my life. Just look at how dope my friends are in these pictures. Wouldn't you want to have friends like mine? I mean Duh! LOL.

Convincing Your Parents

I have an important question to you all. How do you convince your parents to let you get a dog or another dog? Doesn't having one dog already show that you are very responsible? Have you ever had to convince your parents on letting you get a dog? What other motives did you have in mind if your first plan didn't work? I want to hear from you. Give me some advice I can give to my mother about letting me get another dog. My dog and I are in dying need of another dog =). Doesn't every dog need a home like every human out there? Help me out friends =).

New Music: Kim Kardashian - JAM

Earlier this morning Kim Kardashian premiered her debut song "JAM" on Kiss F.M. "The Ryan Seacrest Show". Towards the end of last year the celeb-reality star turned entrepreneur went into the studio with notable singer and producer the Dream to make a hit song everyone will love. All of the events were captured on Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Kim Kardashian says has had no form of vocal training or is a vocalist, she thought this was a fun opportunity to get her out of her comfort zone. Even better the song will be on iTunes later on today and half of the proceeds are going to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in respect of both Kim and the Dream losing their family member to cancer. 

I heard the song so far and I am so impressed also in LOVE. Kim did a fantastic job her voice sounds so cute and adorable. This song will really put a move in my feet walking to school, taking a shower, or in the clubs. I'm very proud of Kim Kardashian. This song will be a hit in no time. Maybe we'll get a song with her and Nicki Minaj =).

Today is that day. The middle of the week. The time to almost unwind and think of anything you wish would come true. That's right today is Wishful Wednesday! Imagine if there was really a lamp we could rub and a genie could grant our three wishes. Lady Gaga - Born This Way

Lady Gaga premiered the video for her latest single "Born This Way" off her upcoming sophomore album entitled "Born This Way". I'm absolutely in love with the song and video. The song such a strong message about self love, hatred and just accepting who you are because GOD made you that way. The video reminds me of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video a little bit, but can we just talk about how SICK Gaga's outfits are and creativeness. This is one of the best video's I've seen so far this year. I can't wait until the album and her tour. I will be one of those fans jumping knowing every word to every song haha. My Top 3 Colleges

I haven't shared that many of my personal thoughts with you all. It's best that I start to open up on my blog about something. It's me being honest to you and having a relationship where we can talk about any and everything. I am currently in Community College majoring in Communications: Public Relations. I would most likely work in PR within the Entertainment Business. Believe me Entertainment and PR IS MY LIFE!

This year was the year I was supposed to graduate with my High School graduating class of 07. Somethings happened after I graduated High School and decided to take some time off. I really then got upset when I didn't get accepted to some of the Universities I applied for. I remember I did get accepted to USC (University of Southern California), but my mother and I thought it wasn't a good time for me to go out to California. Then here comes my mother a college graduate with a master's degree, telling me to start off community college part time. I swear that was the worst advice I got from her in my whole life lol. I recommend if you are iffy about college to never start PART TIME. It slowed me down A LOT. Here I am rambling, but my reason for this post is to let you all know it's about that time I start thinking of Universities to transfer to when I am done my two years at my Community College.

The three colleges that have in mind now are USC (University of Southern California), Rutgers University, and UOA (University of Arizona). Two may seem far from home, but hey College is all about the thrill of a once in a lifetime experience you'll ever have when you're a young adult. Yeah, so those are my three picks, also I hear they are great Communication Major Schools. With Hope and Prayer I hope I get accepted to all three lol. Only decision is deciding, but if I have to the school I chose is..........

As you all know I absolutely love Pasta dishes. It's a must I have at least one pasta dish a week. Okay maybe not every week but you know every month. I was browsing through one of my favorite cooks and celeb-reality star Bethenny Frankel's amazing website and I came across this scrumptious Pasta meal. I swear Bethenny puts all of the good food up on her site. Her website is my personal chef book lol. Well today's Tasty Tuesday dish is Whole Wheat Angel Hair Pasta with Sauteed Multicolored Peppers. Last Day of Junk Food

Today marks the last day i'm eating a whole bunch of fast food and junk food. I'm doing this to get my body in shape for the summer. I know the holidays are over and I should've began to start working out as the new year started, but hey we all get lazy and comfortable therefore slacking. March 1, 2011, I will begin working out again and eating much healthier. Maybe a cheat snack here or there, but only once a week. I totally have to look good this summer and fit into slimming pieces I brought last year. I plan on working out until June 1, 2011. So wish me luck! I hope I reach my weight goal. The New MacBook Pro

Apple just released their new upgraded version of the Macbook Pro 2011. It's supposed to be a lot much faster and they even included a few interesting kicks and gadgets to the highly used laptop. I'm saving my hard earned money for one of these bad boys, hopefully by the end of this spring semester i'll have one in my hands ready to iChat away lol. I'm totally obsessed with Macs and Apple products in general. How many of you down MacBooks? What do you think about the new 2011 upgrade edition ones? How many of you are going to get it?

Throwback Friday - Ashanti "Foolish"

We are back again on this such messy rainy day here in Jersey. Today I bring to you Throwback Friday and  a close friend of mine Malyka decided I should pick Ashanti and her debut song "Foolish". When Ashanti came out in 2001, she was on top of everything including her music. Ashanti's album "Ashanti" was the anthem for every teenage girl and young women going through relationship problems. "Foolish" will always be my favorite song and video from Ashanti. Her voice is absolutely incredible. ITS MURRRRRRDDDAAAAAAA haha =). What are your favorite Ashanti songs? The infamous celebrity makeup artist & fashion forward-nista Joyce Bonelli made my day today with her reply to my tweet, I sent her last night. If you don't know who Joyce Bonelli is she is HUGE notable makeup artist who travels around the world with her A-List Celebrity Clients such as; Kim Kardashian (Keeping Up With The Kardashians/Kourtney & Kim Take New York) and Holly Madison (The Girls Next Door/Holly's World). HUGE right?! We'll if you have been keeping up with Joyce, you'll recognize her in and out appearances on both reality shows. What draws me to Joyce so much is the cutest way she says the word "GORGEOUS" haha. Joyce with her already cute soft baby voice screams the phrase "HEY GORGEOUS" and it is the most cutest thing in the world =). Kim Kardashian even stated somewhere on her blog or Twitter she has Joyce's "Hey Gorgeous" as her ringtone.

A Book You Should Read Into

Here's a book I highly recommend you all should read. It was a reading material I had to read for class last semester. I honestly thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but I found myself reading the book every single day even between my classes. If you read The Kite Runner then you will love A Thousand Splendid Suns. Such a very easy book to read but will have you in tears. Take the time out to read every day. The more you read the better your vocabulary! =) 

A Video Down Memory Lane

There has been many countless times I've visited BET's top countdown show 106 and Park. I've never went by myself, I always went with friends. The times I mostly went my BFF always came along with me. I remember we went to the the city (New York) on a hot summer day just to walk around and visit Manhattan Mall. We never intended on going to 106 and Park that day, so we basically said what the hell let's stop by. Not knowing who was the special guests were we totally looked crazy lol. Shockingly, BET.Com has footage of my bff and I in the audience at 106 and Park. I'm not going to tell you who the special guests were, you just have to watch for yourself =). Is anybody going to see this movie today? Martin Lawrence and Brandon T. Jackson are hysterically two funny comedians. I'm hoping I get a chance to see the movie this President's Day weekend. Throwback Friday - Soul For Real "Candy Rain"

Who can forget when the 90's was taken over by girl and guy groups? lol. The group that really stuck out in my head was Soul for Real and their hit single "Candy Rain". Growing up I remember at every party I went to their cd was on full blast. My mother even brought the album which I cannot find today for some reason. Soul for Real was a R&B group of brothers. If i'm not mistaken rapper Heavy D discovered them and took them under his wing. I had to be about 6 to 7 years old knowing all the songs on their album; it was completely funny. So without further adieu I'm proud to announce today's Throwback Friday is dedicated to the group Soul for Real with "Candy Rain". They only came out with one album, I wonder where are they now?!

My Signature Smell...

Lately I've been having a sophisticated sexual addicting signature smell to myself. I've been hearing everyone say I smell so good and sweet its as if they would just want to eat me up lol. Well, I have to give great good credit to the man behind my new signature smell world renown famous fashion designer Oscar De La Renta "De La Renta". I actually found it in the cabinet of my mother's bathroom which she never opened so I decided to take matters into my own hands and make use of it. My mother is big on receiving gifts such as perfumes and smells good but with her weak smell of sweet scents she can't hardly use them because she'll get light headed in just a few minutes. Therefore, you can find me using most of the products lol. I usually wear Paris Hilton's cologne set but this Oscar De La Renta has been giving me a lot of outstanding compliments. I don't quite actually know where to purchase the perfume but i'm pretty sure it's not that hard to find if you use the internet or go to Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom and Sephora retail stores. 

The scene to me is very unisex. Guys and Girls can both use the perfume. It's not too sweet and it's not too strong; it's just right. This is a fantastic smell good and I recommend it for everyone to go out and buy. Thank You Mr. De La Renta! =)

New Music: KevvPiee

Ha! What can I say about my dope outrageous unpredictable homie Kevin Pie? lol. Well, he also found a new venture and that is rapping. You'd be surprise how dope his skills are #pause. This 19yr old hits the studio a few times out the week to give us snippets of his freestyles which he writes himself. The beats he freestyles to are remarkable dope. All I can say is you never know with Mr.Pie! So far he has 3 songs out entitled "Get The Money", "KevPie Freestyle" and "Large on the Streets".  You can exclusively download them on his SoundCloud music page. Nothing inspires me more than great young talented people trying to make a change in their lives by using one of the greatest tools ever...MUSIC. My two friends has formed an outstanding lyrical rap group by the name of GMB. The two members are Rose Pop Bottlezz Rell and Travis "T-Stunna" Thomas. These two rappers hail from Newark,NJ. Their music is dope and the lyrics are very catchy. "Head To Ya Toe" is very nice seductive song for the ladies. I'm by far sure once you hear the song you'll want to hear more from this group. I thought why not just search or the recipe and come to find out it's actually easy to make. I think i'm going to throw a pizza party, instead of ordering pizza my friends and I will make them lol. UCC's Valentine's Day Fiesta

UCC (Union County College) did a great set up in the spirit of Valentine's Day. They had a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt, played music, sold cupcakes, cookies and most of all gave out special roses to those couples who won the scavenger hunt =). I thought it was very festive of UCC to do. This was my first time actually sitting in the Commons area while UCC threw an extravagant event. I must say it was cute; maybe I should join the other UCC Students more often? lol.......We'll SEE! My good friend Malyka joined in with me also to watch the festivities. Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day To Everyone. I hope those who are in a relationship are not just going all out for their significant other just today. You should celebrate Valentine's Day everyday of the week with your lover. Even though I'm single, I still showed love to all my friends and family. I love them all but most of all my Valentine is my dog Tokyo =). So tell me Valentiners out there, what did you get or do for your significant other on this delightful pretty pink and red day? Or What do you have planned this coming weekend? I hope some ideas were thought out the box lol.

Im Back!!!

Hey Everyone I Am Finally Back!!! I don't even know where to start lol. My last post was January 27th which was 2 days before my Birthday. I think we lost contact after my Birthday festivities and such forth. I am here to say that there will be no more long vacation breaks from me =). I'm back with all new blog post, music, movies, fashion, lifestyle and of course a bunch of my crazy stories. I will include a post about what I did on my 22nd Birthday. I will catch you up on what crazy happened to me this weekend.
