Happy New Years Eve 2010
Happy New Years Eve everyone! I hope you have a safe and fun night. If you're in the city play safe and drink safe! I can't believe how fast 2010 has gone by. I don't even remember anything except my Spring Semester of College. I guess the saying is true when they say "Time Flys By When You're Having Fun". I think about setting new goals and resolutions but they never fall through. I'm going to start with one resolution which is to become more healthy and working out. Okay, maybe that's two =) What are you new years resolution for 2011?
Throwback Friday - Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit)
The Black Eyed Peas new song "The Time (Dirty Bit)" may not be a throwback song, but it is a great song to end the 2010 year. The Black Eyed Peas is a throwback music group who been out since the 90's. Their incredible career has taken them into new heights and have sold out concerts everywhere. Their albums never disappoint so why not end the year with The Black Eyed Peas! Once you hear "The Time" you'll automatically know this is the right song to end the year. Enjoy!
Xbox : Kinect
I really have to blog about this gaming system. For Christmas, my little brother just got the Xbox 360 Kinect, which is a device that detects motion movements while playing video games, remote control hands free. It sounds confusing but once you play it, you'll see how it works. It's something very similar to the Nintendo Wii only thing is you aren't using a controller. Well people from playing this game, my whole upper body is sore.
The Kinect comes with a multitude of games that you can play that works out your entire body; legs, arms, and all. My brother and I were playing bowling, track and field, football, soccer, water raft, tennis, boxing, and even table tennis. Playing these games back to back for two days in a row, I really felt my upper body becoming so stiff and sore. The Kinect is a really good workout. Just think about it, if you own the Kinect you don't ever have to hit the gym again =)

R.I.P Teena Marie
Yesterday Afternoon We Lost Our Ivory Queen of Soul....Teena Marie. The Cause Of Death Is Still Unknown, But Any Cause Of Death Is Just Tragic. Teena Marie was just 54 yrs old! Sad To Pass Away So Wise, Young & Beautiful. I Really Didn't Know About Teena Marie, Until My Mother Started Playing Her Music Around Our Home, My Favorite Song Will Always Be "I Need Your Lovin''. I Swear I Think I'm Teena When I Sing The Song Away lol. It's Like Lately Towards The End Of The Year, We're Loosing The Most Important Music Pioneers To GOD. It's Not A Bad Thing, But It's Like Why So Soon. I Hope When I Become A Singer, I Can Remake My Favorite Song From Teena Marie And Make Her Proud. Homicidal Infatuation
HaHa, no everyone I'm not becoming a serial killer. I'm just infatuated with E!'s television program "E! Investigates", it's a show about sick, psycho & deranged people who kill for no reasonable cause. I've mostly been watching "Young Kids Who Kill" & "Rich Kids Who Kill". If you were to see and hear some of the stories they bring up, i'm most certain you're body will cringe throughout the whole program. I find it funny how I enjoy watching Homicidal programs on E! but I refuse to watch any "Law & Order" series. Maybe E! gives it a more dramatic feel lol. People Do Not Judge Me For This Obsession! Throwback Friday - Mariah Carey "Double Christmas Dosage"
All I Want For Christmas Is You |
Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Nothing starts and ends the Christmas Holiday better than listening to Mariah Carey's Christmas Album entitled "Merry Christmas". "Merry Christmas" was filled with a lot of your favorite Christmas tunes sung by the soulful songstress Mariah Carey. Some of my favorite songs on the album are; "Silent Night", "Jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child", "O Holy Night", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" and the unforgettable "All I Want For Christmas Is You". This is why today's Throwback Friday song goes out to our girl Mariah Carey for "All I Want For Christmas Is You". This video speaks Christmas in each and every way! PS. After The Jump There Is A Special Christmas Gift From Me To You :-) Enjoy!

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Is Over...
Today marks the end of the 17 year law that was passed by President Clinton and a Resistant Pentagon entitled "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is a reform to deny homosexuality into the military. If you were asked about your sexuality in the military and you answered gay or lesbian, then sadly you were dismissed from continuing to serve our dear country. I'm glad President Obama kept his word and went forth with signing the repeal to ban the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. The military shouldn't discriminate towards any type of U.S. Citizen. We are all family and those gay or straight both lend a helping hand to make the US a better place. This is just one step closer to building an equal world for you and me.
"'Don't ask, don't tell' is over, and you no longer have to sacrifice your integrity." It is a major victory for those who were discharged from the armed services on account of their sexuality. - President Obama

2010 Lunar Eclipse
Early this morning around 2:30 am - 3:40 am, I woke up from my sleep and hopped right onto Twitter. I then was seeing tweets of a Lunar Eclipse about to occur. I actually had the chance to really go outside to see the Eclipse, but I wasn't going outside at 2 in the morning to stand in the freezing cold to watch the Eclipse. How lazy was I lol? By the tweets I was reading, I can tell it was a fascinating moment in history. If you were one of those who actually witnessed the Eclipse in person, please let me know your experience and what did you think of it. I feel terribly bad for missing it. Let's hope next year I get to see it! -December 21st.

Tasty Tuesday: Classic Cheese Lasagna
Yummy, Yummy and Yummy. How good does this Classic Cheese Lasagna looks? For the remainder of the month, I'm actually posting holiday meals to Tasty Tuesday. This Lasagna recipe I got off of Martha Stewart's website. Must I say, I live for her home living and recipes. I think by now you know I'm a big pasta fanatic. I can basically live off of pasta for the remainder of my life...well no, not really lol. Anything with cheese, noodles, and meat you can sure bet I'm finishing the whole pan. This side main course was actually listed in Martha's meals for the holidays. Lasagna is such a great meal to cook up, when you're having a special dinner with the ones you love. I honestly do not know one person who doesn't love a good dish of Lasagna. You can view the recipe after the jump. Enjoy & Happy Holidays.

Meet The Boy Ciara!
Have you ever seen a guy that can dance just like R&B Entertainer Ciara? Well, I did and I know him very well. His name is Marquise, and boy can he dance! He uploaded a video on FaceBook reenacting Ciara's "Ride" video. He killed the whole dance and knew each move down to the core. Marquise to me is known to be Ciara's numero uno fan (#1 Fan). Actually, he loves Ciara so much I actually call him CiCi lol. This video is to die for btw. He's an amazing fan, friend and dancer! Ciara better take him on tour asap! Let me know what you think of Marquise and his "Ride" video?

I Pulled An All Nighter!
Sorry for not posting Throwback Friday post. The night before I had pulled an all nighter, due to a final exam paper and test I had to study for. I was up that Thursday night from 8:44 p.m. until the next day Friday at 11:45 a.m. I swear pulling all nighters is most common found within college students. Unfortunately, I was one of those students. No More All Nighters From Me!

Christmas Cards
Side Note: How cute is the Kardashian/Jenner-Clan's Christmas Card for 2010? I'm loving this old Hollywood theme they have going on. Mason looks so cute in his suit. The person that stands out to me is Kendall and Kourtney. Their outfit is to die for!
It's the Christmas Holiday and I was wondering how many families out there take the time out to send out Christmas Cards? I don't think my family has ever done a Christmas Card, but when I get older I think I will start a family tradition to do so. I would love to see your Family Christmas Cards. Share the joy Kiddos! LOL.

Wishful Wednesday
I'm glad to introduce the new weekly post of my blog entitled "Wishful Wednesday". I decided that I wasn't so good at being a trainer or workout instructor and unfortunately it lead me into not having anymore workout routines. I decided to add some fun and imagination to my blog. I'm all about entertaining, so why not? "Wishful Wednesday" is a day in the middle of the week, where you can write whatever wish you want to come true. Now we are taught if we wish upon a star at night, come across 11:11, see a shooting star, or break apart a wishbone, that we automatically make a wish. Well here is what I have to say about it, all of those times to wish are good, but why can't we wish anytime during the day, year, month or second. I mean we all do wish out of nowhere but do we really mean it?
Here's how "Wishful Wednesday" works, I will write my wish for the day and as you comment you can write your wish for the day. It's nothing to answer in a big paragraph form, but its something you can actually read what other's wishes are and think upon yourself about it. After making our wishes, let's see if it comes true sooner or later in life. Hopefully "Wishful Wednesday" will have longevity on my blog. Read My Wish After The Jump.

Tasty Tuesday: Gingerbread Cupcakes
How delish are these holiday Gingerbread Cupcakes? The frosting itself makes me just want to eat it alone. Well, since we are in the holiday season, I thought it would be festive to add some holiday treats to Tasty Tuesday. Want to know what else is new too? I actually searched around for a good recipe and I came across Martha Stewart's Recipes. I swear I love Martha Stewart's Home Living Magazines. She includes the best home decor, recipes, comforter sets and many more in her magazine. You really should buy a copy! Read after the jump for this delicious Gingerbread Cupcake recipe.

I'm Finally On Tumblr
Finally I've gotten myself into the multi-tasking world of the internet. It's bad enough I can't even keep up with more than 1 email account plus various social networking websites. I told myself I wasn't going to get on Tumblr, but look at me now. I have my own Tumblr page and I'm so excited about it. I figured I'd hop on the bandwagon and use my Tumblr blog for fast uploads such as; Videos, Music and Pictures. Don't get me wrong, I totally won't dish Blogger for Tumblr. Bloggger aka Blogspot is my first born and it wouldn't seem right to neglect my site. Though Tumblr is very easy to use, I feel Blogger is the website true bloggers should use if they want to feel like a real blogger lol. I'm new to Tumblr so enlighten me on tips, gadgets, and more. I don't have a lot of stuff up yet, but I'm sure just like my Blogspot blog it will take time when I have a poppin Tumblr.

The Last Day of the Fall Semester 10'
So today was the last day of school, well for the fall semester of college. It was my first fall semester ever and time went by so fast. I can say I made it through this school year with my head still held high. I made some amazing new friends and I kind of lost some along the way. This semester wasn't that good for me academically wise, but whose to say I can't do better in the Spring. I officially came to the state of my own mind that math, history and I do not get along what so ever. English & Communications Technology were very brilliant and relevant to my life.
I already miss everyone who I had a class with, whether we spoke or we didn't. I felt very social this semester and I find it funny because I never thought I'd gain as many friends at a Community College. I had a few ups and downs with a few of my close friends, but in retrospect it only made our friendship a lot stronger. College is all about meeting people with different personalities. I won't always be able to find those who suit my standards as friends, so I have to accept those for who they are. I'm looking forward towards next year in the spring. Let's see if I can top next year by gaining a lot more friends and doing more than the less I have done this semester. :-) ...
If you're in College, how was your last day of the Fall 10' Semester? What do you plan on doing different come Spring 11' Semester? What classes are you taking?

New Music: DJ Sick - We Run Radio Vol.1
The Christmas Holiday is here, but that doesn't mean you have to listen to Christmas music all this month. There's a new mixtape in town that Santa hasn't brought in, by another one of New Jersey's hottest up and coming DJ's. He goes by the name DJ Sick, and he is giving us his dope beats and popular mixed songs to rock out to this season. Tis' the season to get crunk'd right? lol. The good thing about this mixtape is that it's a free download. NO!, you don't have to pay anything. Righteously click the download link and you're good. I downloaded the mixtape and shall I say, DJ Sick really lives up to his name, his beats are S I C K! Do a favor and support the man. DJ's are the masterminds behind it all basically, give them some recognition and rock out this season!

Addicted To HP Photo Booth
How cute are we? Obviously we're obsessed with taking laptop photos! My friend Ashley's HP really takes the best pictures of me. We had such a ball yesterday at school, we took over a popular walkway in our school library lol. It's fun to get to know different people in college and become really great friends. I swear I have the dopest friends ever at UCC. I never thought I would, but it goes to show having a fantastic personality will bring you fantastic people! :)

Jersey Shore's Biggest Fan!
I love being a "Jersey Shore" fan, but I've always thought the major fans are the ones who actually down at the shore. Well, boy was I wrong! This year, I've met the biggest "Jersey Shore" fan ever. Her name is Ashley Colletti, to me shes my Ash Doll <3. We met in our Math class and clicked pretty good. I love her personality and her spunk, she is the girl version of me, you all will love her as much as I do. Back to her being a big fan, last Monday, we were siting in our college's cafe' with other friends and out of nowhere she talked about how much of a Jersey Shore fan she was. When Ash talks about "Jersey Shore" her eyes light up like no other, and it's too funny lol! Ashley over the summer was lucky enough with her boyfriend to see MTV film "Jersey Shore" season 3 down at New Jersey's infamous beach getaway "Seaside Heights". Ashley also a lot of pics of the cast and the store the cast worked at over the summer. I wish I could show you the pictures, hmmm or maybe Ash will willingly send me the pics and I'll put them up! lol. Ash today, had the cutest shirt ever. It was the #TeamSnooki shirt! I died when I saw it and she demanded I take a picture lol. I swear I love my new found friend Ashley, she has made my first fall semester a blast! ;-) I don't think I've met anyone so obsessed with the "Jersey Shore Cast" as her lol. Take a look at the full picture after the jump.
Workout Wednesday: Setting Goals
Everyone always remember when working out to immediately set goals and follow them. Setting Goals is a big part of working out. If you don't set goals then what are you working out for? What's your reason for putting so much strength on your body. Also, by setting goals you can accomplish a lot more and see results in days faster than expected. To set goals means to to reach a point where you feel you should stop working out or cutting back from it. Some people's goals may be getting down to a size 4, weighing 160 and down, fitting a size medium instead of x-large and getting wash board abs. Setting goals keeps you organized not just for getting fit, but for life itself. Set Goals, Get Toned and Get Your Body Right! :)

What Is Love?
We ask ourselves this question all the time...WHAT IS LOVE? Eventually, deep down inside it takes us years and months to really know what LOVE is. Why do ask this question though? Who makes us question LOVE? If you know the answer please let me know. I'm beginning to think people are mistaking the word LOVE for RELATIONSHIP. When you're in a relationship, is LOVE always supposed to be present?
Jazmine Sullivan - Love Me Back
Everyone seriously has got to go out and purchase or download on iTunes R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan's sophomore album entitled "Love Me Back". I wasn't really intending to purchase the album, but a close friend of mines played the album in her car over the weekend and I must say i'm in love. "Love Me Back" really showcases Jazmine's growth from her first album "Fearless". I believe "Fearless" was just her introduction to people. "Love Me Back" is different from "Fearless" and turns up the notch a bit higher. The music on the album is to die for, her voice is still incredibly beautiful. I find myself listening to the album non stop all of a sudden. Jazmine really shows her vulnerable side on the album. Jazmine does have her ballads and she does have her up tempo songs. The album overall gets 5 stars from me. I'm really proud of Jazmine and her new album. It's rare many underrated artists get to a second album. I wish Jazmine Sullivan the most success in her many years to come in the industry. Everyone go out and get the album!

Channeling Kourtney Kardashian
Today my fashion sense is being channeled by the fashion icon herself; Kourtney Kardashian. I'm not quite wearing the same outfit she's wearing in the above picture, but I'm wearing a republica of a summer outfit she wore. When it comes to Kourtney Kardashian's style its SICK TO DIE FOR! I mean I've never seen Kourtney Kardashian in one bad outfit. Honestly, she is CoCo Chanel to this world right now. I don't know how she does it, but obviously she doesn't own 3 Clothing Boutique stores for no reason. I'll try to take a picture of my outfit today to show you what style I was channeling. I mean just look at Kourtney, she's pretty, she's to die for. This picture is jaw-dropping! lol okay I can go on and on about Kourtney. FASHION IS A LIFESTYLE! & Hunny This Doll IS LIVING! Love You Kourt! WERQ!
Throwback Friday: Destiny's Child - 8 Days of Christmas
Today's Throwback Friday is going to be a bit festive, beings that it's the Christmas Holiday. I decided to choose Destiny's Child's "8 Days of Christmas". I remember when the song came out in 2001, I was ecstatic and couldn't stop jamming from the moment I heard it. I recently brought the album on iTunes, and I still haven't heard the whole album lol. I'm going to get to it thought i've heard some of the popular singles they released off the album. Destiny's Child Christmas album entitled "8 Days of Christmas" is a soft RnB Holiday album, very upbeat songs and soulful voices. I love Destiny's Child, one of my favorite girl groups of all time. I wish they would get back together and make another album. Well, read after the jump to view "8 Days of Christmas" music video. Enjoy! :)

Happy Birthday To One Of The Most Powerful Entertainers Ever....Miss Britney Spears! Britney Spears has been one of my favorite entertainers than anybody else has been lol. I love Britney so much and you just don't know. Britney's an inspiration to all and has been apart of my life since 1997. I can't believe how long I've been a die hard Britney Spears fan for 17 years. It seems like it was only yesterday when she came out with "Baby One More Time". It Costs More To Eat Healthy, Than To Pig Out...
Did you ever realize it costs more to eat healthy than it does to pig out? Well everyone its true. All those who are concerned about eating healthy sure spend a lot of money on eating right. It can be the littlest groceries you buy that can add up to $20. $20 isn't too much money, but when you only have a few fruits, lean meat, and whole wheat items it really becomes a problem to pay $20. It's not only the healthy things you buy in the grocery stores, it's also the healthy snacks that you can buy that cost more than your high calorie Potato Chips, Candy Bars, Gummie Bears, Artificial Juices and packaged Donuts. I realized this observation in my college, in the vending machine usually the healthy snacks such as Trailmix, Granola Bars and Peanuts. It's really crazy.
Looking at the pigging out side of life, you find your spending less and less to become fat and unhealthy. I'm not calling everyone fat and unhealthy but you may not see it on the outside of your body, but your inside see's it. I'm not saying I don't like to pig out on fast food, I'm usually the first one to do it lol. When you really think about it, the unhealthy foods are less cheaper than the healthier food. I mean look at the fast food chain's "DOLLAR MENUS"!!!! A cheeseburger is a $1 and some change and if I go to a restaurant and ask for a turkey burger its about $3 something. I'm not trying to rant on and on, but just something to get you thinking.
Do you see that eating healthy costs more than eating unhealthy?
Why Is That? How Do You Think We Can Stop It?

Workout Wednesday: Resting
I know you all are saying what is up with the picture of legs and feet. Well if you didn't know, the most important part of a workout is RESTING. I've been posting a lot of workout routines, but I also didn't take the time out to include relaxation and resting is a big part of working out. You obviously can't continue to work on your body without giving it any rest. I mean c'mon how tired and exhausted will you be? lol. Especially when your body is excessively sore. Just rest that body! It will do you so much good.
World Aids Day
December 1st marks the yearly anniversary of World Aids Day. Help the world by saving yourself and another person and go get tested for AIDS. AIDS is a very epidemic serious transmitted disease not only by sex but drugs also. Every minute a person is dying from AIDS. It is up to us as a whole to stop this epidemic by getting tested every 6 months or regularly. This is not a joke, we can't let a virus destroy us all. Do something positive and play the game of life SAFE!
25 Days Of Christmas
Happy December 1st to everyone! I'm super happy today is December 1st, which is 24 more days clsoer to Christmas. I'm always the most joyful around the holiday seasons. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and quite frankly there should be no other way than to be extra joyous and happy. Another reason why I love December dearly so much, well it marks the "25 Days of Christmas" special on ABC FAMILY. I've been watching this special since I was in 6th grade. The programs that come on during the whole month are entertaining and I just feel like a kid all over again! I hope everyone has been good this year, because Santa is on his P's & Q's this month. I know i've been good and always will continue to be good. Tonight's shows that are coming on are Dr. Suess "The Cat in the Hat", Dr. Suess "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" and somethng else I quite don't remember. Are you as happy and excited about Christmas and 25 Days of Christmas special?
