Today we're changing it up from Throwback Friday to Holiday Friday. Two days before Christmas and we're going to watch a new holiday festive music video from our RnB/Pop icon Mariah Carey. The new video "When Christmas Comes" features John Legend, which the original track without the songster himself is on MiMi's second platinum selling Christmas album entitled Merry Christmas II You. I love both of Mariah's Christmas albums and right now this holiday I can't stop listening to it. "When Christmas Comes" feat. John Legend is a beautiful song and the video features a lot of special appearances from many of Mariah's loved ones. What Is Up With The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" Season DVDS!?

What is going on with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 4,5 & 6, Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami season 2 and Kourtney & Kim Take New York season 1 DVDs?! I already know KUWTK seasons 1-3 along with Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami season 1, I'm definitely waiting for the other seasons so I can continue my collection. I really love watching the Kardashians and I like to watch the earlier seasons to watch the previous crazy antics and drama the girls go through, some funny and some not so funny. I also live for the extra footage, never before seen and episode by episode commentary from the family. I'm a reality tv junkie so I collect the best of the best! It's been some years now since they released a season dvd which is strange because the E! networks were really on it. I just want my Kardashian dvds lol!!!! What do you think has happened? Or Are they even going to release the season dvds?

Shake A Paw Puppies

Seriously, I love going to pet stores just to look at all the cute adorable puppies you can possible imagine. The other day my friend Britnie Antoinette and myself took a trip after school out to Shake A Paw pet store on Route 22 in New Jersey. Neither one of us had the money to buy a puppy, but I just love the fact that you can take out a puppy and play with them lol. I have a female Shih-Tzu already and I'm always asking my mom for another dog, I'm always setting myself up for failure lol. We took out a 2 month old female Yorkshire Terrier who is a feisty and energetic little playful pup. We named her Tullulah, CUTE RIGHT!? 

We were done with Tullulah because she had peed on the floor and was rolling around in her pee which was so weird. Then I met another little Lhasa Apso puppy who was the cutest male dog I've ever seen. He was the cutest white/dirty blonde fluffy little thing. I felt a connection with him dearly, even though we didn't take him out of the cage there was something that felt like we were meant to be. I wanted him dearly and I still do. I named him Rio! Of course, I couldn't tell you this story without having pictures, so here are some pictures plus a lil extra treat after the jump. Enjoy :-)! 

Introduced To New Music

Yesterday as I was hanging with my friend Britnie Antoinette ( I love calling her by that name) and her iPod music selection just so happened to be playing (of course, it's her car lol) which I actually enjoyed, she had a little bit of everything from Beyonce, Dev, Drake, Lil' Wayne and much more I mean Britnie can just become a house party DJ! Nonetheless I was introduced to an artist I've never heard before, after doing research I found out this young beautiful voiced girl was from the UK which is why I never heard of her. 

The artists name is Ellie Goulding, maybe some of you have heard of her, but I sure didn't until I got in Britnie Antoinette's car. After playing a few songs of hers, I began to become very interested in Ellie Goulding, she can sing her ASS off and the lyrics to her songs just speaks TRUE ARTIST. When you get a chance check her out and thank you Britnie for introducing me to Ellie (Ella) Goulding lol. It's always fun browsing through your friends iPods and listening to music you've never heard before, I suggest people do it. You may never expand your music knowledge catalog if you're not aware of what's out there. PS. "Lights" is my favorite of Ellie's. 

Tasty Tuesday: Virgin Pomegranate and Cranberry Bellinis

The holidays are here and the festive parties are about to begin. I thought it would only be fair for those who are trying to stay away from holiday pounds to substitute the food for a nice chilling beverage. During the holidays people love to take a sip of this and a sip of that, everyone becomes a drinker only for the nostalgia. I'm not so much of an alcoholic beverage drinker, but when I do I love something not so hard tasting that will give me a buzz. I'm more of your fruity type alcohol person, my drink has to taste like juice with a little kick.

Here's a drink I found on Food Network's website that sounds so delicious for those wanting just a holiday buzz. Now of course the title says virgin, but i'm giving you the option to pour your own alcohol drink in it as a mix. Today's Tasty Tuesday holiday buzz recipe comes from Giada De Laurentiis from Food Network Channels show Everyday Italian the Healthy Snacks episode. Hmm, we can tell this drink is of Italian decent, so you know we're bound to have a GOOD time! This drink is called the Virgin Pomegranate and Cranberry Bellinis. The Skorpion Show: Kobe & Vanessa To Divorce, Tamar & Vince New Show, Real Housewives Of Atlanta & More

Due to finals I've been neglecting one of my favorite YouTube shows for like 3 episodes. I know The Skorpion Show fans are going to kill me, who come on my blog just to watch the new episodes, I'M SO SORRY!!! Well finals are over and I have time to keep you updated on the new episodes YAY!!! I have to catch up asap! Maybe i'll do it tonight. Here's the latest episode of The Skorpion Show which was recorded last night. I haven't watched the video yet, so by the time this posts i'll be watching with you in my room. So far the title for the video looks juicy! I'm sad about Kobe & Vanessa's divorce, I can't wait to hear about Tamar and Vince's new show and the funny jokes about The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Visit My BFF Britany's Tumblr Blog

I'm not so hip on the whole Tumblr craze, which I've had for a minute now but my best friend decided to jump on the craze and create a Tumblr blog page. It was very shocking, because my best friend Britany isn't much of a writer or doesn't have the patience for a blog at all. To her interest, she noticed having a Tumblr blog page doesn't mean you have to always write you can keep it as visual photos and keep it moving. Brilliantly Britany decided to create a Tumblr page and each month include a theme for it.

This December's theme is a series of black and white photos of pictures surround love, relationships, funny cartoons, song lyrics, inspirational quotes, and more. I mean the title of her blog is Live Fast. Die [Pretty], you can only imagine the random interesting stuff she posts. I'm just a tad bit jealous she knows mostly the creative ropes and tricks to Tumblr more than I do and I had my Tumblr page longer than her!!! Describe The Perfect Significant Other...

So a couple of months ago, I asked you what is your ideal type of guy or woman. Now I'm going to ask you to describe the "PERFECT" significant other. I know there's no such thing as a perfect person, but it's always fun to hear how people describe how they want their partner to be. Also, psychology plays off in this question because sometimes the answers you may get with defining the perfection of their partner may stem from their culture, personal experiences, religion and etc. It's not always good to say what perfect person you want, because once you have your perfect person wouldn't the relationship become boring? Yeah, I thought so. So I am now asking you to describe YOUR perfect significant other. Please honest and as a treat I'll give you my description of how MY perfect significant other should be :-). 

If You Were to Write A Book...

If you were to write a book what would it be about? Ever did something in your life that you feel you need to document it and let other's become aware of what can happen in life? Where would you draw inspiration from? Would it be a novel, autobiography, self-help, advice book? I bet you never thought about asking yourself this question. It's something to think about, writing a book is therapeutic for some. If I were to write a book, I most think it would be a tell all/dos and don't. Just think about it, that's of course you haven't. Let me know what your book would be about i'm interested to know also a bit nosey too lol.  

Last Day UCC Fun!

Seriously, I am loved by so many ;-)! Last Thursday was the official last day of classes so my lovely two new favorite two-some friends Kim Morek & Britnie Antoinette & myself decided to spend our last Fall Semester hours at UCC taking pictures on the library's computer which I think is illegal. We took tons and tons of lovable pictures even with some unforgettable classic moments. I love these girls so much and will miss being in a loooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg class with them. They're personalities are beyond CRAZY and RANDOM! I was more than grateful to have them as loving friends in my life. You Dolls Rock My Lesbian Socks Off!!! Mwahz! Here's our pics we took :-)! Omari Edwards - Self Dialect

My friend Omari just released his new mixtape entitled Self Dialect last week. The reviews are raving about how dope Self Dialect is. I got a chance to listen to the mixtape last Friday and I actually enjoyed the tracks on the mixtape. Omari is a hard working up and coming rapper who doesn't believe in giving up. Omari is a smart young lyricist and you can hear it in his music. Omari has my stamp of approval for his new mixtape Self Dialect. If you didn't download it, what are you waiting for? Faceasaurus Rex

Just last night I was introduced by a friend of mine to this amazing dub-step/new house/rap band called Faceasaurus Rex (I can't pronounce the name but they're hot). The band is based out in Philly who are on the rise. Faceasaurus Rex consists of a drummer/producer- KDUB, DJ Dougie mixin it up, and Grand Marquis spittin that fire. The tracks I heard from the group are so dope, they mixed the popular favorite dance tunes and just turned them into a never ending club dancing mix. I love new house music, especially at the clubs. I mean isn't that what we're supposed to hear anyway? If I love their work, so will you! Check them out!

Christmas List 2011

Christmas is in exactly 6 days and I hope you all have your Christmas lists already prepared. This year I haven't asked for much but the gifts I asked for are reasonable. I feel like I deserve these gifts that I want this year. I've always been a good boy, so I'm def on Santa's good list! Yes, I still believe in Santa Claus who doesn't?! Anyway, the things I asked for Christmas are: 

Throwback Friday - Christina Milian "Dip It Low"

Let's go back to the year 2003 where a lot of females in the music industry were killing it in their music videos.  One video I don't think a man or female will ever forget is RnB/Pop singer and actress Christina Milian's sexy, seductive, steamy video for her song "Dip It Low".  The song featured rapper Fabolous but the video just featured Christina performing in front of a crowd with black tar/paint. Her body was so right and fine, this is one of my favorite videos and I'm not even a straight male lol. 

Besides the video, Christina Milian is an amazing singer and actress. After having baby Violet by super producer The Dream back year to four years ago, I wish she'd continue to make more music. But for now, please with me come enjoy today's Throwback Friday with Christina Milian in "Dip It Low". 

Obsessed with Hotel Toiletries



Am I the only one obsessed with Hotel Toiletries? I think they are the best products to use than brand products that you'd see in commercials and in stores. The only problem is they don't last as long as store brand products; but I make it work somehow. I'm always asking my mother when she's away on business trips or workshops to fetch me all the toiletries she can. Two weeks ago, my mother went to Puerto Rico and she brought back the most amazing soft lotion, body wash and perfume. They bottled their product so nicely!!! I have to go there on my own, just to rack it up. So far my favorite toiletries i've gotten was from Disney World in Florida. I still have mine and I don't use it. Maybe i'll use it for decoration when I get my own apartment.

Steel Magnolias "An All Black Cast?!"

I'm a little late with this story, but I don't know if you know supposedly they are supposed to come back out with a remake to the 1989 dramedy Steel Magnolias. The movie starred Julia Roberts, Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Daryl Hannah, Shirley MacLain and Olympia Dukakis. If you haven't seen the movie, it's a definite must see. Just to sum it up, the movie plays around a local beauty shop in Louisiana with a close friendship hood of 6 ladies; you will see emotions play out dealing around breakups, death, love, courage and happiness. I won't tell you which characters go through a lot but I will tell you Sally Field and Julia Roberts play an outstanding dynamic mother daughter duo.

Coming back to the future, I read on Perez Hilton, Hollywood plans on coming back out with the movie but only using an all black female cast. Now, first and foremost why are they even thinking about re-making such a classic? That I don't know. I may be African-American, but I damn sure know they can't just put an all black cast to re-make the movie, it just wouldn't seem right. Why does it have to be an all black cast though? Why couldn't it just be blended with whites and blacks? This is so absurb and I truly think if this was to actually get the greenlight, the movie will flop!!! Not being racist here, you can't re-make a classic and expect it to do as phenomonal as the original; especially nowadays.

In The Christmas Spirit

Our Christmas tree in the household in all up and the color scheme this year is silver and turquoise. My mother also had this idea of buying these two moving Mr. and Mrs. Claus musical figurines that I find very creepy. I just think they're both going to come alive and just follow me throughout the house. We brought a real tree again this year from Home Depot and ornaments from various places that sold Christmas decorations. It's hard though finding the same exact shade of turquoise.

However, we are in the Christmas spirit, on our coffee table in the living room, we have our Christmas Elves Chess Set, decorated the outside with inflatable characters and we have Elmo sitting in the living room with his Santa hat and watching the tree. Oh' my favorite inflatable we have is this big Christmas dog whom I named Benjie'; I love him!!! We are very festive, I mean Christmas is BIG!!! I can't wait to attend the parties. Ooooh, the dear lovely taste of a gingerbread cookie. I love the Christmas holiday just because of the treats people bake or have at their house. Anything pertaining to Christmas in the arts and crafts area just warms my heart. Isn't it cute when you can bake cookies cut into little christmas trees, reindeers, elves, presents, snowmen and etc.? Yup, Well our favorite Food Network family the Neely's have batched up some yummy gingerbread animals. The Neely's bring to us "Spiced Gingerbread Piggies", I don't know where they got a pig from but from the looks of the picture the pink piggy looks good enough to eat #NoSwine lol. Christmas Album Of The Day - The Preacher's Wife

One of my favorite holiday movies is The Preacher's Wife and I absolutely love the album. The album mostly features icon Whitney Houston and the Georgia Mass Choir. This album is always played around my house just about every week. Who doesn't love a Christmas album that brings Gospel and Soul together?! Exactly...No One! If you saw the movie and liked LOVED it then I would suggest you purchase the album and have the time of your life. Listening to Whitney's voice is so relaxing and I mean this album couldn't just start off the holiday season right. My favorite songs are "I Believe In You & Me", "Step By Step", "My Heart Is Calling", "Who Would Imagine A King" and "Joy To The World". Do you have the album? What are your favorites?

Babes In Toyland [Movie]

I was a child again last night when looking for a movie to watch and I came across one of my favorite all time holiday-kids movie, "Babes in Toyland" which stars the beautifully talented Drew Barrymore, sexy voice Keanu Reeves, Pat Morita and many more. I don't know when or how I got introduced to the movie but I remember having the VHS tape living in New York way back in the early 90s. It used to scare the daylights out of me at some parts, so I made sure to always tape over the part that scared me lol.

"Babes in Toyland" (1986) is a classic holiday tale about a young girl Lisa Piper who has to come in the knowing about what it feels to be a kid because she doesn't have time for toys or a childhood life. In order to find that out, she is sent to a far away land, Toyland where it's always daylight and the friendliest toys and nursery rhyme characters come alive. Lisa's journey is not all smiles and cheer, she is faced to stop the evil Mr. Barnaby Barnicle from taking over Toyland and possibly ending the joyous holiday of Christmas.

I found the movie with limited commercial disruptions on Hulu. A website that posts all TV Show episodes, movies, specials and etc. that you may have missed or want to watch. Thank you Hulu!!! I need to get this movie on DVD before Hulu takes it down. I can't stop watching this movie. I will share with you guys the movie :-) so you can see why I fell in love with it.

So it's December and we all need motivation to workout in the gym during these Holiday feasts and meals. Don't blame the weather for keeping you in the house, get motivated to either workout at home or even at your local gym. Music is simply the most powerful motivating way to get your butt up and shedding those pounds. CNN: Black student backs Confederate flag

Controversy of a University of South Carolina, Buffurd 19 year old African-American student surrounds the campus and rallies up dozens in the area who question why this young man had the Confederate flag up against his dorm room window. Byron Thomas (the student) believes the flag to him doesn't represent racism, but it symbolizes "pride, respect and southern pride (Thomas)". Take a look at the man's story. 

2011 New Years Eve Plans

So in just a few more weeks 2011 will be ending. I have to say this year went by so fast I can't even remember what happened the first 6 months. I guess 2011 took me a along for the ride :-). After Christmas comes New Years Eve. I don't know a person who doesn't celebrate New Years Eve with either close friends or family. I've always celebrated New Years Eve with my family, but this time I would like to experience New Years Eve in New York City. The atmosphere of a big crowd of different nationalities coming together in Times Square to see the ball drop is unforgettable. There would be no other way to spend New Years Eve and bring in 2012. This is something I have on my mind to end the year. I don't know what else will be going on so I guess i'll keep options open.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011 [Video]

Last week, my Twitter timeline went in a complete frenzy when the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show came on. Eventually, I missed it, I think I was watching something else and didn't pay any mind to the show. I love fashion shows, but I thought the Victoria's Secret 2011 Fashion Show would be pop and cheesy. Boy was I wrong!!!! Thank God for CoolCreator007 over at YouTube for posting the full show with NO COMMERCIALS! 

This 2011 fashion show was so beautiful and full of excitement. As I watched these beautiful slim girls walk down the runway, my adrenaline rushed throughout my whole entire body. These girls were GORGEOUS!!!! The lingerie and costumes they showcased was put together so nice. I'm not familiar with the Victoria's Secret Angels, I only know Chanel Iman and Adriana Lima <---------- The both of them rocked that stage like it was their last day on earth. Watching the show I also noticed in order to be a VS Angel you have to have a tall svelte body, with surfboard squared abs and long fascinating legs. I mean only VS Angels make skinny look to die for! Also, the music performances made the show FANTASTIC!!!! Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 and more.
