The Perfect Cast For A Reality TV Show...

I was never asked this question, but i'm all prepared for it. I was thinking what if I was offered a Reality TV Show, and the producers told me I had to pick 5 people; including me making it a total of 6. Who would I pick and why? I think if I was to have a reality show, it would be something like "Basketball Wives" meets "The Real Housewives Franchise" but with a whole diferent tangy twist! First off, the show will be filled with a lot of drama, laughter, and crazy antics that will have you wanting a new episode everyday. Choosing 5 people would be very easy for me. I already know back off hand who I would pick and why. The people I would choose for this reality show all would have significance for the show and a different story to show the world. All my friends are unique' and well crazy fun. I mean wouldn't it be fun to just have a show with all your friends and no drama? It would be right?  Today's Tasty Tuesday Meal, I bring you "Three Cheese Omelet" Recipe shared with us from the Food Network Channel's own show "$40 a Day" curtesy of Miss Katie's Diner cooked by Rachael Ray. I really don't have Omelet's too often, but when I do I like to go plain and simple. After seeing there can be a lot of different types of Omelets with vegatables, spices, and meats, I felt it was too much choosing for me and I'd probably freak out with all those taste in my mouth. God led me to the most deelicious cheesiest Omelet of them all. A Three Cheese Omelet! Yummy! I can tell you it tastes so good with syrup! Yeah, i have quite the sweet tooth lol. The First Apartment

 Hmm, so it's about that time for you to move out of your parents house and into your own right? Well, at least I know i'm not moving out of my mother's house until I graduate college. Call me whatever you want, but i'm in no rush. As some of you don't know, I'm planning my first apartment. That's right! I said APARTMENT! There is totally nothing wrong with renting. I plan on living by myself with just my dogs and my career in PR, I can't rely on mortage. Well, i'm in the process of planning what I want my studio or 1 bedroom apartment to look like. I already have a big idea of what I want my apartment will look like, but i'm not going to share that with you right? lol. I'd give you one hint; my first apartment is going to be in NYC. You can see some pictures of what I think is cute for a first apartment according to me. I'm not saying go straight for these ideas, but to have the dream apartment/house you want, it takes time. Deliberate every room in the house and then start to working on each room one by one. Unfortunately, I probably won't be the one to follow my own advice but whatever lol. Little Shop of Horrors Soundtrack

Yes!, You can call me the biggest geek. I found one of the best movie broadway soundtracks on Itunes. "Little Shop of Horrors" is an old film that originally came out in the 1960's but a little early in the years in 1986 they revamped the movie into a comedy musical tale about a hard working nerdy florist worker, who raises a mysterious mean green plant, that's out to destroy. The 1986 casts Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Steve Martin, and Tisha Campbell. If you've never seen the movie before or Broadway show, i'm not going to give more information about it. You'll have to watch it yourself, it's such an awesome movie. If you like the movie and the muisc, i'll post the link to download the soundtrack on Itunes or Amazon.

Today marks the 9 year anniversary of one of the greatest R&B singers to date. Aaliyah, was one of the most down to earth, beautiful, intelligent and soft spoken singers to entertain us with the gift of song. 9 years ago, August 25, 2001, Aaliyah died in the Bahamas, in a crucial plane crash that left millions devastated. Aaliyah had just finished filming her 2nd video for her self titled 3rd album. "Rock The Boat" was the last music video Aaliyah made. "Age Ain't Nothin' But A Number", "One In A Million", "Aaliyah", and "I Care For You" are top albums still selling throughout the world. The world may have lost an angel, but her spirit and music still lives on.

Last Week Of Summer Vacation

For all those College Students (like me), this is the last week of summer vacation. I hope each and everyone of you, spent the summer safe and full of new excitement. Unfortunately, I didn't have one of the summer's I always enter, because I was taking summer classes. I did get a chance to attend my "American Idol Audition" and I partied at a club in NYC. The highlight of my summer was just spending time with my best friend. I guess for those College Students who dorm must have it pretty tough this week, between moving in or doing huge last minute shopping lol. American Idol Season 10: Registration

Sunday was a busy, bright and early day for me and my best friend. Well, if you haven't read or noticed, I'm auditioning for "American Idol Season 10". I auditioned in 2006, but the producer judges felt I wasn't what they were looking for at the time. In 2006' Jordin Sparks took my shine. Congrats, To Jordin and her ongoing success. But, speed up to 2010, four years later and I'm back with also millions of hopefull people in the line to be America's Big Idol. Thanks to my Aunt for waking up extra early around 6 A.M. to get us to the registration by 8 A.M. when I say people had things to do, people had things to do. My aunt had to be somewhere at 11 A.M. and my best friend had to be to work at 3 P.M. It might not seem that bad, but trust me, when we got there, the crowd was heavy and the waiting was crucial.

Long story short, I got to register within 2 hours as also my best friend got the adition wristband instead of the guest haha. I also took pics of the lines and some of a cool Michigan license plate. Registrations were held at The Izod Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The easy part is over with (registration), now comes time to audition; which takes place August 3rd. I'm beginning to get nervous, but I know what to expect. Wish Me Luck, & I Hope To Be Your Next American Idol. Pics after the jump.

Shoving Geese Down Your Throat???

Hey Guys! nope this is not a ThanksGiving post. One of my cousins hit me on BBM(BlackBerry Messenger) last night and informed me the news were talking about people who eat Geese(more than one Goose) on an everyday occasion. Thanks Jess, for the story. Okay, so I did my research the topic, and shall I inform myself and others I thought the thought of eating anything besides Chicken, Beef, & Pork was beyond disgusting, but to life it's normal. All types of people roast Goose for dinners, parties, and special occasions. Hey they sometimes replace them for the Turkey on ThanksGiving. Well, I don't think i'll ever eat it, killing one animal is just way too much. Wouldn't hurt to try it, but you'll have to mix it in my burger or spaghetti! Someday i'll try it though, it's not bad to become immune to different types of food out there. Hmmm, be your own food critic, try things out. What do you think about eating Geese as a meal? What will you eat it with? How will you cook it? 

Workout Wednesday: The Bicycle

Today's Workout Wednesday is the Bicycle exercising machine. If you ever have a day where the weather is getting in the way of your daily jog or run such as rain, snow, or it's just too cold, don't just stay in doors and do nothing. Make up for it by doing your jog or run by sitting down. The great machine to replace that jog and run is the Bicycle. The Bicycle is very easy to find, and you can find the best low price for one. The Bicycle targets every part of your body that running and jogging will do. You can watch TV, a Movie, or Listening to Music when cycling. Working out on the Bicycle will help you burn calories and shed  belly fat or those annoying love handles. I know I sound like a complete infomercial salesman, but in my house we own a Bicycle and I absolutely adore it. I rather the Bicycling than running outside, but sometimes you need to run or jog with fresh air around you or just seeing the view around your neighborhood. Approximate time you should spend on the Bicycle should be between 30-45 mins. It's not that hard, just work at your own pace! Do you like the Bicycle? Let Me Know...

Today's Tasty Tuesday is focusing on desert. Everyone loves desert after a big evening meal. So, why not relax and dine in on some "Old Fashioned Cupcakes" The Food Network Channel provided on their website. I rarely have a greedy sweet tooth, but when I do it's always aiming for good ol' cupcakes. Right now I'm watching my weight and dieting so I won't be trying these cupcakes pretty much for a month or two. I enjoy eating the already powdered cupcakes in a box, but you have to admit, there's nothing like good ol' homemade baked sweets. I choose the cupcakes because I though you'd might love them too and want to bake them. R.I.P Al-Fuquan Pamplin

At this time in my life, I am very shocked and stunned about what just occurred this past weekend. A friend of mine from middle school recently lost his life to the streets. I'm not going to explain what happened because I am not a news reporter and I want to write about his good life rather than the trauma of what happened to him. Up until now I have never had any one of my friends pass away. I'm pretty much still in shock and I refuse to believe it. Al-Fuquan and I were in the same class 7th & 8th grade at Myrtle Avenue Middle School. We weren't the best of buddies but we were friends, and my whole 2 years in the classroom with Al-Fuquan I would have to say he was very down to earth and an honest person.

From what I can remember about Al-Fuquan was that he always talked highly about Football and his favorite Football player of all time "Randy Moss" and he then was on the "Minnesota Vikings". Al-Fuquan enjoyed football and played with the guys during recess or after school. He never was one to get violent or bothered anyone, unless someone pushed his buttons, which was a rare occasion because Al-Fuquan was cool with everyone. I will always remember Al-Fuquan as a great friend and very funny. His jokes were funny and although I was often a target in my class, I have to admit some of the things I did and said were amusing. I'm not sure what happened the night Al-Fuquan passed away, but I'm pretty sure whatever happened, it shouldn't have happened to him. It's crazy how dangerous these streets are in neighborhoods, and how we shouldn't feel safe at all. I'm not happy about the incident, but I'm happy that God has called Al-Fuquan to meet him in Heaven to be safe from harm from this planet we call Earth and Home. R.I.P Al-Fuquan , Now You're A Guardian Angel To Your Family So You Can Now Protect Them From Harm.
